    Sir you hit the nail on the head at the beginning of the video. My mind all over the place thinking of way too many things. I do appreciate your videos they are helping. Padraig Harrington I watch the most. I use a basketball for one of the lessons you gave thank you

    You’ve helped me feel for getting my weight behind the ball when striking it. Any leaning towards the ball at set-up will encourage swinging with the arms and hands. Tilting over the ball while feeling balanced over the heels and balls of the feet means that in the backswing I will move upwards about 1/2 inch. Which means that I need to move down a 1/2 inch to strike the ball. Which helps me get my weight behind the strike of the ball.

    • @TheArtofSimpleGolf
      @TheArtofSimpleGolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I hope you are not thinking about doing that all at the same Im time in one swing:) but I’m delighted to hear it’s a good resource that resonated for you. Keep at it 🏌️‍♂️👍

    Thanks for reminding about the feet and knees together drill....Jack Nicklaus used to do up to 30 minutes..also at 76 I find that I can the ball more solidly with a narrower stance...seems to overcome restricted hip movement of more experienced golfers (read old)....

      Please comment on narrower stance for older golfers with restricted hip motion...feels more like an arm swing hit ball solidly and longer.

    Hı Alex, I understand what you are saying. I am holding on the shaft without this release and hence some kind of chicken wing. My swing has been so for a long time and not sure if I can change it. The balls go ok.
