Hell no. The 1979 Chevy ll Nova has by far the most bullshit moveset out of all of the bosses. A large majority of his moves are delayed to throw you off and he has 5 different unblockables, as well as very fast attacks that all have the ability to 3 shot you. Plus, he has almost as much health and posture as the final boss as well as 3 health bars.

The bosses can get on your nerves and the minibosses can wipe the floor with you (I dont know if I have more trouble with them because you can encounter like 3 in one area or if they are generally harder) but the game itself isnt as ridiculous as some make you think. If you have that one right tool you can often crush someone who destroyed you easily and apparently a lot can be beat in surprising ways. I havent beat it yet but thats because these past like 2 1/2 weeks I havent played as often as Id like

Even though in the loading screen it said it would become harder to pull if you did that. ppl just don't read, its not funny.
there are actually practical uses for sword dancing with unfamiliar enemies, there are times you will get a deflect even if on accident, which is still better than just blocking to not be hit, not everyone is a god that can perfectly time every deflect. Smart players know when to spam L1.
I L1 spammed my way through the entire game, NG is so forgiving that it was a breeze. Less so if you decide to do NG without Kuro's charm, boy..
peposo7 The timing for deflect is bullshit anyway you have press it right before the opponent swing his sword not when it's about to hit. So when they start attacking in rapid succession it's best to just spam the fucking shit because timing the Damn sword swing is not possible.
