Hua Hin is only a three-hour drive from Bangkok and a 70 minute flight from our home city of Chiang Mai. It has a small but international airport with many flights available. By the way the correct pronunciation is not Who-a Hin, as westerners always so, It is the H sound followed by "wa". Excellent video! I went to Hua Hin during Covid times so it was quite empty, but I loved the beach and the choice for restaurants around town. I had there the best Som Tam of my life and one of the best Pad khra pao moo. I even made a video of it on my channel 😁

Yes, a fun trip. The monkeys there were not like some regions with super aggressive monkeys, grabbing food and belongings from people. I was told it was because the temple fed them so they were not so hungry and needing to take things. But it does feel a bit scary as they swarm around you.

say bro. for first timer in hua hin, would u recommend 2 or 4 night stay?
For me, two nights and three days was enough. I'd have enjoyed more, but it was not like some places where I was really sad I could not stay longer.
I understand Chiang Mai is the only place they fly to, ((3x a week) I guess they meet international standards but they do not have any international fights or connections with other cities within Thailand.
I don't know about Hua Hin's airport, sorry.
At 08:12...so, are you saying that it's cheaper to book the room that includes breakfast rather than paying for breakfast separately?
I think online we paid an extra $1,00 baht ($35 or so) for two breakfast for two days, so four meals, so about $8+ each, and if you buy their fancy breakfast it is 850 baht a pop, so about $100 for four meals. So cheaper getting it as part of your reservation. There are many options when you reserve. Take care.
Best and cheapest way to get to HH from airport is to get the bus down stairs , cheap, v comfortable . quick. Dont feed the monkeys , too dangerous.

We are all different. Can't believe you'd say that. The beaches are not crowded, clear water, ocean life everywhere, nice people and good cheap food. Are you comparing it to SE Asian cities or other countries. SE Asia is a different world than say, Hawaii, or the south of France, so you can't compare the two.
