    If I paid over $1M US for a condo I'd expect integrated hob and ovens not a free standing cooker that doesn't even fit the kitchen worktop, I'll make an offer of $500,000, I'd also expect a bath for $1.4M

    You are good at this. They should give you a commission if any of them sell after your shows. This was very impressive. I am amazed that there is no dishwasher in a condo that expensive though. The comparison to a condo off Central Park was apt. Except of course, in a private building off Central Park, a condo like that would run more than 10 million USD on average.

      Thanks for the kind words! I thought the same thing. A condo like this should come with central air conditioning and a dishwasher however that’s very rare in the Philippines.
      Thanks for tuning in!

      Why would you need dishwasher though? It does not clean enough. I've not used mine and I'd rather they put washer/dryer in homes rather than a useless space consuming dishwasher.

      @@bigradwolf5001 The common trick in upper end condo buildings that I've seen here and upper end apartment buildings (for example Peter Cooper Village in Manhattan) is that there are Floors that have internal laundry mats in them for all the residents (often the ground floor, but sometimes in the basement) and the apartments have dishwashers - definitely what I personally prefer.

    I've watched a few of these viewings so far and one thing that stands out is the constant reluctance to show the view - the curtains are *always* drawn closed - making it feel like the apartment had might as well been underground. It is important for the eyes to be able to see beyond the walls..... it gives energy and more, unless of course the view is so very bad.

    • @TheSavvyExpat
      @TheSavvyExpat  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Gabriel, as we mentioned we’re touring model units within Ayala’s showroom hence why there’s no view whatsoever. In the coming videos however, when we tour units for occupancy, we will not hesitate to show the view :)

    Talk about the BIG ONE. I am scared to buy a condo in the Philippines because of the threat of earthquake.

    • @pharcyde8083
      @pharcyde8083 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that’s why it’s important to choose the right builders. Modern builders are supposed to comply with earthquake safety standards. The best ones should be able to withstand size 9 quakes.

      But it's in Legazpi Village....one of the best in the world and definitely the best in the country. Wide streets, about only 20 residential buildings out of 250 buildings which means it's a ghost town outside of rush hours. Something exquisite feeling about walking around all these buildings by your lonesome. Not all places are equal.

      These businessmen in the real estate industry in the Philippines are not to be trusted, they're only greedy and want to sell out all their units fast at a price with the highest interest or with many hidden charges. If you tune in to PH news, there's a report that says owning a house is now cheaper in South Korea than the Philippines.

      Well if we are making ridiculous comparisons. In Los Angeles you'd barely be able to afford a run down house in the hood for the same price. (OK that's a little extreme maybe) but you can't compare the two.
      With that said. This unit is eh. Alright but definitely not worth the asking price
