Wahlpro can you please tell me why my magic clips have a model number to the cordless designer 8591L and not 8148 like it is supposed to be?
These are the same clippers with different blades. You likely have the same bottom case used on both tools. As long as your clipper has the stagger-tooth blade you are fine!

I bought this 2 weeks ago. When cutting with the lever closed, the blade seems to get stuck on the hair and pulls, it makes the scalp bleed, how can I make sure it cuts smoothly when doing a skin 0
Try combing hair first, and gradually cutting hair using the largest to preferred height guards. I’m not a barber, but that’s what I had to do. I had the same problem.
What are the difference between Wahl Magic Clip Cordless, and the Wahl Magic Clip Cordless Pro? I'm new with clippers, and I need some suggestions what to get first.

I’ve been getting a flat top for years and am uber picky. Many times it takes my barber 35-50 minutes before it’s right. During the pandemic I used the cheap $29 Wahl Trimmer from Target as a last resort. Traveling I cut it again and didn’t get as good of results. Today I decided to buy this. Everyone said I cut it absolutely perfectly. For a flat top I use the 1 1/2 on the sides followed by 2 Then I used the 4 over the top and free handed the 3 on the back half of my head and it looks like a barber just cut it! Amazing product. My $29 cheaper Wahl trimmer is better than most people’s $60-80 models and this is professional!

Hello wahl. I just recently bought this clipper 3 days ago and it’s the newer version of the clipper with the tan switch and lever. I noticed that sometimes when I the clipper is off, not plugged in and just sitting on my station the blue light will start to flicker on and off. Does not look like something the clipper would do by the way it flickers. It is not a constant blinking. The light blinks rapidly at different speeds and different brightness. Just wanted to ask if this is supposed to be happening? Is it normal?
This is not a common occurrence however we have seen it happen before. Just curious, is it by a phone?
Wahlpro my phone was in my pocket. I just happened to look over my station to grab something and noticed the light on my magic clips blinking. I have 2 cordless designers and 1 magic clip. This was only happening on the magic clip

Hi, quick question if anyone can answer this. Just how much of usage can you do in time within one battery charge? Ive had not so good experiences with other cordless (other brands) that basically die within half an hour. I am a huge fan of Wahl, but I currently own a cord version of the machine. Any clear up in the matter would be greatly appreciated! Very interested in this cordless version.
Hmmm that's a bit tricky to answer. A lot depends on how quickly you are working, or how often you are using your clippers. This unit has over 100+ minutes of run time. We have heard from several people that they were able to use it all day long without having to charge. The nice thing is, this unit works cord/cordless so you can plug it in and use it corded if it dies on you.

Put a #3 comb on. For a #3 1/2, open the lever. For a #3 close the lever.

The motors, batteries, blades, etc... are all different. The other brands you mentioned are far less quality tools and are not designed for professional use.

Is it safe to zero gap the wahl 5 star clippers?
We never do it ourselves however many advanced artists like to do it for their customers with thick, coarse hair.
As long as you do it right, you are fine. You can run it on your self to check if safe to use on client. If you want short cuts, do it but if you can't do a fade without zero gap, it won't help much if you do.

I just bought this and it came without guard 5 and 7. Was it suppose to came with it in the box? If now why is the 5 and the 7 not included?
Correct this tool does not come with either the #5 or #7 cutting guide. Research has shown these are the two least used guides. They can be purchased separately via your local Wahl professional distributor.
Well at least I know now that it wasn't a mistake when I found out these were missing. I was about to return the whole thing thinking they forget to send me these two blade guards. Still I don't understand why they don't send me both regardless if I will use them of not. I mean really, how much does it really cost to make both? Less than a dollar I'm assuming, it just pieces of plastic right? Other hair clippers ship them, it just seem like not shipping them makes it look like the manufacturer forgot to ship them. Well thank you for the quick reply, I ask this question on amazon and got no reply.

If the light is off that means the clipper is fully powered.

The difference is in the blades. The Cordless Magic Clip has a stagger-tooth blade while the Cordless Super Taper has a Taper blade.

It will not get nearly as close or a detailed as a trimmer but if it is to keep it at a certain length, this clipper will do the job.
