How To Verify Your Meta Business Manager Account (Even If You Don't Have The Option)

- Verifying your business on Meta Business Manager can be done even if you don't have the option to do it. You may notice that some accounts have the option to verify their business and others aren't given that option. In this video, I will show you both ways to get verified.
Getting verified adds another layer of trust with Meta and is something I encourage all of my clients to do when they run ads.
Before you verify your business manager account, you will need to make sure you have the proper paperwork to verify your business.

I followed these exact steps today and I just received the notification that my verification submission was approved. I've been in business since 2018 and have struggled to get my page verified. I just don't see the check mark yet but it does say verified under business info. My friend, I wish you many many blessings!

If you hold your cursor over the lock symbol, it'll tell you that you simply need to confirm your account. That is why you see the lock symbol.

Question! I tried to do this but on my EIN it's my name, not my businesses name. When I go to fill in the verification, it asks for the organization name. So I did that and It didn't work. I feel like I need to add the business name to the EIN?

@@zateimarketing you need to create a meta developers account then you'll be able to. When creating the app select "other" then "instant games" and you'll be able to select your BM like in the video. If you do the other two options it won't let you select the BM (at least it didn't for me)

I have submitted 3 times, this was the business registration letter from the regulatory office in South Africa (CPIC).
On the director's details it has my cellphone numbers but they kept rejecting it, the address went through successfully.
Please advise😢 I lastly submitted my uyility bill but yet declined too😢

This video was helpful. We have been stuck in 'Review' for Business Verification for 45 days with no communications from FB. I've tried many ways to get support but no luck. Do you know of ANY way to get a human to help us for business verification? Something got lost/stuck on their side and the App Support/Chat window agent tells me they can't help, can't escalate, and can't provide any other info because Business Verification is not in their area of responsibility.

Meta is not allowing me to add and APP aswell , It is showing me an error " You can't add app IDs to this business account because this business account didn't comply with our Advertising policies or other standards."
Are you sure this illogical step is necessary? Or you "feel", or "think" it decreases bans and lowers CPMs etc. (also know as, "could be myths")?
It isn't a necessary step. But anyone who relies on Facebook ads to run their business, knows how critical it is to keep their account in good status. If it means doing a few extra things that could be myths but won't hurt your account, I'd say go for it.
@@brandarrow. Thank you. The thing is, verifying business managers is super hard for the majority of people. Plus, I know many professionals who've done even millions telling me they never bothered with verifying their business managers. Though of course they must have faced issues, but probably even those who verified face the same but maybe slightly less. Also, I think since the button isn't there by default for many, it's logical to think that it isn't crucial for those types of accounts (Facebook doesn't want verification in the first place as it makes no difference, but I could be wrong).
Yeah if it's hard to do, then I wouldn't worry about it. It would be nice to get more transparent support from Meta when any issues do arise, but rarely do we get any clarity on why an account faces issues.
I follow the privacy that your using and when I try to save changes it won't proceed because it will say error " invalid it needs to be valid privacy url "

Yes! But I'd recommend having the second one just as a backup and run all ads from the main account. Also note that you can only create 2 business manager accounts per Facebook user.

Hey this is great, but it wouldnt let me add an app saying that: “Your account must be confirmed before you can create a new app. Please confirm your account by adding your mobile phone number or credits card” -- both of which I did but its blocking me from adding an app with the same message. If your domain is website.com you would need to use an email with that same domain. Like firstname@website.com.

I was uploaded the Proper documents (GST & Certificate of incorporation) which it is listed in the particulars. But i don't know the reason, why they are refused it. I got to the app creation point just fine, but when I attempt to upload the app icon (which I made in Canva - 1024 x 1024 px, png, under 5MB), I keep getting the error message "Something Went Wrong Please try refreshing the page or closing and re-opening your browser window.". This process doesn't get you the blue badge. It just verifies your business account with Facebook to add another layer of trust.

Many people who visit a business page on Facebook may not know what the blue check means. They are simply interested in what the business offers and how to get in touch with them.
