Thanks, David - I'm about to start my second semester in Residential Drafting, your instructional videos have been a massive help so far. I'm learning more from your videos than my actual course, sadly!! Cheers
Thanks for the kind words! It is the extra hard work you are putting in that will make a world of difference not my videos along! Well done!
you just have taken my ArchiCAD skills to another level, thanks David, you make all things simplified
Glad I could help!
Thank you for the upload keep them coming
i really appreciate your effort... definitely not taken for granted
Most welcome !
I started an internship for Interior Design this week (with not a second of time spent on AC) and the person I’m shadowing is out on vacation so I have been devouring your videos to learn archicad all on my own. You put SO much content in every video, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Glad I could help and I'm happy that you're enjoying the content :)
This is what I need, Thanks!
Thank you!!! Appreciate your hard work!
I'm always learning new shortcuts whenever I watch your videos.. thank you..
Hope the new shortcut bar helps with that!
@@DavidTomic a whole lot..👏👏👏

David, thank you so much for this content. I would have loved it if you had made the interior as well. Any chance you'll do that? :)

Glad I could help!

Hi David thanks so much for the teaching I appreciate but I really need more of the video but in low tune
Haha i really hate those orange lines too! This isn't autocad we don't need coloured lines! Wish AC would get rid of them. Great vid David, been looking for tutorials to upskill my AC knowledge and you are really easy to follow and understand!
Haha 🍊 thanks for the kind words and hope you continue to find value in my content
Hi Bet ... see my comment to David ... Get rid of the horrible orange outlines permanently with Model View Options/Miscellaneous Settings for Library Parts. I hate them too :-)
You can also change the pen color from orange via pen settings so all number 3 pens will be the color you changed to.
Where’s the rendering part in twin motion? Haha love your work mate!
interesting,im still learning archicad and i find this helpful, thank you. from kenya
Glad I could assist!
good tuto
thanx bro
Most welcome mate
Please we would like for part 2 for complete finish up to rendering
Thanks v much David ur really of great help to me please can u make a video of how to put tiles in a building
I've got multiple tutorials have a watch through them I'm sure you'll find something useful :)
Useful tutorial. Leant lots of shortcuts.

I've made a few. Just check the channel
In the next video please show us more of your keyboard so we can see what you are doing ! Have a Nice Day
Unsure how much more I can show you since there is a shortcut bar in the video now with every shortcut I use? Any suggestions would be appreciated

nice clear and well explain,u didn't partition the building and u did'render it. thanks
Not possible to do all of that in 20 mins 😂
Hi David. Have done any videos on archicad layers? I am really interested to watch your tutorials on archicad Layers for use in Twinmotion Phasing
Haven’t made a video on this. My layers are all construction focused not presentation
U are the best
Glad I could help
At 11.30 how did you copy the wall? for some reason I dont have that function to copy it. I just drew the blade wall on the first floor
Your videos have been exceptionally helpful as I've been learning Archicad. Thank you.
Using your trick for creating an independent story for the ceiling/floor between levels is great, but I can't get stairs to run continuously from the ground level to the 1st floor because Archicad thinks there is an intermediate floor (the ground floor ceiling) and won't run stairs through multiple levels. Do you have a trick to get around that?
Put the stair home storey as the ceiling and then show on floor above and below
every house design should start like this. play with looking first, then layout
Nice video David! Have you ttried using 3D Connexion space mouse with Archicad ?
I have not?
08.20 how did you select all walls at the same time?
i had to press each one
You need to active groups. Alt+g
Hi david how did u made the video in moving motion house thing is it available in archicad
No this was twinmotion, I have a full free course on it on my channel :)
Where is the continuation of the design. The full design tutorial
just a question i dont have the same options when choosing walls etc as u do i need to download smth or?
The default for wall types depends on your template, if you download the international template from Graphisoft website they’ll be similar. They are setup for most common wall types in your region
Hi David your doing a good tutorial it helps a lot but my question is how to make animation in archicad?
Animation? Try twinmotion otherwise that is probably more suited to what you're looking for
Im doing exactly as you are showing, but my first slab is not aligned with the top of the walls..
Jump on the discord chat we should be able to help
Hello Mr David am an archicad learner and I find your videos very knowledgeable, how can I follow your tutorials from introduction to the end, am using archicad 20.following you from Kenya. Eager for your response. Thank you
There currently is not a course per day, but you can learn a lot by simply just following along tutorials
Nice Tutorial. Want see a walkthrough tutorial
Have a few on the channel, be sure to check it out :)
love your work,.....but can you show us how to have a good hdr rendering using archicad alone
Very challenging in my opinion better off using twinmotion with Ray tracing
@@DavidTomic thank you David, but we're having challenges here in Nigeria downloading that twinmotion
I dont see "Wall-External" or "90mm Stud Partition" in my drop downs please help. Good work btw.
Try download the international template from archicad or jump on the discord group and we can help. Check description
Excellent.. Plz can i know how open new file version in old version archicad ?.. Thx
You can’t. You need to open in the latest version then save it to an older version and so on until you get to the version you want.
@@DavidTomic Great. Is there any video explain that ?.. Thx
Any ideas for the internal divisions?
Whatever you want :)
3:53 whats command tate?
Hi David, How to make the info bars appear?
Jump on our discord group and drop a few screenshots of what you're looking for. Makes it easy to understand
Hi make the display screen more visible. Thank you for your videos
Check a newer tutorial :)
storey?
A beginner please I need your help please I need some of your videos but in low tune
You're video is very nice but could you please slow down a little next time
For once, the software is actually really useful
You must have just found the channel because I’ve been making these software videos for a while haha
We need the rendering part too.
Seems like the more this channel grows the more people want to see the rendering process, whilst at the start nobody cared! Very interesting turn of events. Ill see what i can do and maybe start dropping 2x videos a week one with archicad and one with rendering.
I dоwnloaded everything is okay
Good to hear :)
How to import new texture
Check my twinmotion full course on the channel :)
@@DavidTomic Hvala Davide
Kindly complete the whole tutorial....
Whole twinmotion series coming soon
Hi David ... Get rid of the horrible orange outlines permanently with Model View Options/Miscellaneous Settings for Library Parts. I hate them too :-)
Haha yeah I know, it's just that I used to start with blank templates so I could show everyone exactly what to do everytime. Developing a custom template for everyone to follow along with now just taking some time
@@DavidTomic Yep ... figured you would know that! You also call for pressing the D key to enter a distance in the Pet Palette ... not necessary if the distance is top of the list.
Thank you sir but that was so fast
Check out my new archicad course, this might be a better pace :) first six episodes are out with more to come
@@DavidTomichow can I get it
the image of the guy, takes up half the screen
Good observation
Are you an architect?
Yes
@@DavidTomic great. You would really be a great mentor to many of us especially in archiCAD software knowledge
"Under 20 minutes" but the video is 21 minutes and 19 seconds long
How long is the actual tutorial part if you take away the intro and outro?
Please you talk to fast and make the steps to fast so i have to stop the vidio in every 2 sec. Please can you slow a litle bit. thanks for your videos
Just reduce the video speed to .75 or .5 :)
Dang metric system
