But, there are some people who understand India correctly. Watch Karolina ma'am's "What the most intelligent people in the west think of India" video. Not everyone is the same. And thinking every westerner is bad can even cause bad for India. I am not telling you that every westerner is nice or that you should worship them. I am just saying that don't be hostile to every westerner. First know what they think.
Though India has so many problems , the living standard of India is lower than the western nations, less GDP per capita yet we should not forget the colonisation of India for centuries. Britain took 45 trillion dollor from India. India has a great diversity with different cultures and traditions, and what I think it's difficult to manage each and every community happy on every aspects. But India is doing well. Western shouldn't forget that India is the 5th largest economy in terms of GDP and 3rd largest in terms of PPP. Hoping for a great future of India. Jai Hind

People used to look up to India in the ancient times. Foreigners used to study in Nalanda university. I remember ancient Chinese called India “civilized” and “center of knowledge”. Scientists and mathematicians of the islamic golden age admired our work. Greeks and Romans also used to look up to us. Good old times. Anglo-Saxons and other Westerners are the reason that South Asians face discrimination worldwide. They ruined our image by portraying us as animal f*ckers, street sh*tters, unhygienic (India needs to work on hygiene, I admit, but man often it is over exaggerated), savages, r*pists, snake charmers, etc. West butchered our reputation. We think South Asians face discrimination because of skin color, but that is not the case. When you are brown, people think you are from South Asia, and South Asia has a bad image. Many Italians and Middle Easterners have light brown to medium bronzed olive toned. Yet they face far less discrimination then us. It’s all about image. The Anglos single-handedly butchered our reputation. There is a reason why Koreans do not allow us in the bars and treat us badly because Western media has a huge influence in Korea. This leads to Koreans believing that Indians are r*pists, snake charmers, filthy, so on and so forth. It's the same with Arabs (mainly gulf), Egyptians, Moroccans, Iraqis, Syrians, Algerians and Tunisians don't seem to discriminate us as much. Wh wasn't there this much discrimination against us worldwide before until the past few decades, sure British have discriminated us for 4 centuries, but I am talking about worldwide. Worldwide discrimination against us has been going on against us for the past few decades and increased recently because the Western media decided to ruin our image more than it already did. Anglos are seriously such b*stards for butchering our reputation.
