Man! I love all these old toy trucks. I had quite a collection back in the 70's when I was a kid. By 78', at 12 yrs. Old I gave away an extensive childhood collection to a poor family in Detroit for their kids for Christmas! Great show. 😇
O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸 Most boys are encouraged to play with toy trucks, Tonka equipment as kids. Yeah, I was there! I played cops & robbers, cowboys & Indians, etc. But I can sure say that I’ve always liked my toy trucks…and I still do in my older, adulthood! I’ve grown up & older but I haven’t grown out of my love for the toy trucks or the real trucks either! 😎 He sure has some wonderful toys! The GMC Preston rig, some of the W9000 transfer trucks brought back some good memories. Love them! I have some of those, had some as a kid & hope to have some more! We do it all at our house & I’m thankful to have boys who love the old toys as well! I keep living the dream!! 🥰 My dad was an agent for Grey Van Lines back in the day, then he moved over to North American Van Lines. I get it naturally I guess! 🧐Thanks for sharing this! 🥰🤩✌️
I came home from the military in 1970 to find out that my mom had gotten rid of my collections (comic books, metal trucks, etc) thinking that I'd outgrown them and that they were just junk anyway. I was devastated. Even then they were worth a lot of money.
Nice collection your friend has there , I have some as well but not that big I’m jealous but love what he’s accumulated. Great video to check out all the different set ups. J
Hey that stainless steel tanker that was hooked to the IH them you could put water in and the little knob on top you could push it and pump the water out and it had a little hose you put on it they were pretty cool for a toy
Great diverse collection. Would he be interested in expanding that collection? I've got a BUNCH of cool old stuff. Many are original survivors of the 60's.
If you notice on one of my videos there is a 1/64 IH 9670.. With 2 John Deere emblems on each side of the cab...wonder what they were smoking that day 😆!!
Hey Dane , I know this is an old video but just watched it for the first time, WOW. What a collection. I have several old toy trucks and transportation toys Pete’s collection is one to drool over , I’m glad you went around the room shelf by shelf and slow enough to take it all in. I’m jealous that there’s such collections out there as I’ve sold off some of my toys prior to a move from MA. To NC. But seeing Pete’s toys gives me hope that I can continue to add to my collection now that I’ve retired and have more space , thanks for sharing your trip as always another dream video. Keep up the good work. J
