- Few collabaorations in music are as iconic as Madlib and MF DOOM with their only official album Madvillany. One which, unbeknownst to most suffered a long and hard journey before it would be released to the consumer. Money problems, delays, and leaks all plagued the release, resulting in the project being canceled and revived almost on a whim. As mystery has always followed the elusive duo and their alter egos how we got this album to come out was nothing short of a miracle.

this is so good man. I've recently been going back to MF DOOM projects for inspiration on production due to the uniqueness of the world building and sampling to try and get just a grasp on how to make a cinematic album. This video is such great context and perfect to listen to in my break time away from the work of the project.
