Like they put pads on a gazelle. Miss watching this team do their thing. Can’t imagine teams trying to game plan against them. Actually cover the wr’s and te and they just kill ya passing to Craig & Rathman. Pats used that formula in their dynasty
What the City of Atlanta gave up in the sport of Football, they definitely made up for in Baseball. The Braves had one of the most talented lineups in major league history.
I still remember this game and the Deion Sanders interception. Do you have the 49ers v Eagles game 89 Season at Veterans Stadium where Montana was sacked 8 times and still won 49ers the game ?
I'm originally from SF. My babysitter, when I was little, was Irish. From 7 years old till 13, I lived in Key West FL. So, I grew up as a SF Giants/49er fan, run TMC Warriors era, Boston Celtics and Notre Dame fan...and in Florida the year the Dolphins won it all. A great period to grow up in. And yes, ALWAYS rooted for SF Bay area teams...only root for other teams when they played any team other than my Bay area teams
Prime John Taylor was such a treat to watch

Ken Stabler did a really good job with the commentary. He should have done more of this
Love the snake
I love the old outdoor ATL stadium games . Great feel
Me too
Thank you for uploading this game! I love this rivalry.
I remember the CBS station where I happen to live (WKBN 27, Youngstown, Ohio) had this 1989 NFL Week 13 - San Francisco at Atlanta.
RIP Kenny “The Snake” Stabler, Jim Hanifan

Loved the NFC on CBS. I really wonder how many people remember Atlanta played outdoors, when there were NO corporate named stadiums.......
the good ole days. I could name all the stadiums in 1989. Can't remember the names of half the stadiums in 2021.
@@jpowers55 totally
This is a time when the Falcons and Braves both played in Fulton County Stadium.
Great uniforms!
Being a Atlanta native, born at Grady hospital, I don’t remember that stadium lol.

PBP: James Brown
JB is no Tim Ryan.
Falcons should go back to these uniforms...
Yes I totally agree with you loved those helmets.
Back when head coaches were all like 70 years old or older lol
Thanks for all your post:) Do you have the 1989 Nov 12th game with the 49ers and Falcons,or 1990 49ers vs Tampa Bay?
I do have the 11/12/89 game. I have several games scheduled to post but I'll try to get that one up in the next couple of weeks.
@@ilikesports thanks so much i really appreciate that.:)

Can you post the game online ?
A Steve Young game
Got any Vikings games from 95’-00?”
Sorry don't have many late 90's or Vikings games for that matter.
@@ilikesports ok thanks.
Next to those bad 80s Bucs teams, Atlanta was really bad too.
Darryl Pollard had absolutely no right to have been starting over Tim McKyer
In comes Jerry Glanville.
Deion picked off joe Montana in this game
Always really liked James brown as play by play for nfl. And he's obviously great in the studio. One of the best
