- Join the concrete crew as we tackle a new construction patio, sidewalk, driveway and approach. It was a battle in the patio area but by the end of the day we made some good progress. One more day of pouring and we will be on to the next one. Enjoy
Had back surgery a few months ago and was recovering very well, I started physio and there was pressure applied to my back where I had the fusion and now i have really sever pain again. These videos really help me get through these tough times. This is also the closest I’ll be to getting back to work for another long while.

Get some 30s they’ll make you feel straight, that’s what I had prescribed after my back injury just don’t get addicted. I never refilled more than once and never abused them only used it when my back would keep me from getting up. Good medicine just don’t get addicted like these young kids.
^ I know a mother of 2 that maxs out her 40 pill prescription and still buys 60 off the street from my buddy. It’s scary to see what drugs do to people but they do their purpose when taken right and correct dosage etc
@@big4kt881 I’ve tried my fair share of medication. Also have had two injections and a nerve burning in the same spot. All no relief. The surgery did help me and stopped the bones from rubbing together but at physio they pushed down and ruined the fusion so I’m back to square 1. To
Too it off, I was injured while removing a driveway with sledge hammer and was denied WCB, Canadian disability and provincial disability. This has been over two years.

Just wanted to say I have watched your videos for the last month and I do love them. I worked for Archer Daniel Midland for 45 years and never had the headaches you do because I always had a boss. You are a class act when it comes to your workers. I can tell you are a good family man who has been mellowed by God. I just wanted to say I also will not use self checkouts. It makes me shop somewhere else LOL.
Quit my job and took the leap,nowI have a small lawncare business in northwest Florida. I maintain 33 residental yards and 3 big commercial properties. This is my 5th season. I watch your videos and they give me inspiration and motivation to open up and expand a little more. I have two trucks and two trailers fully set up but i haven't quite got the nerve up to hire another crew and let them run a route. Nerve racking but I'm gonna have to do something because I'm turning away work and I don't like that. I love the videos man. Keep making the content and that EASY MONEY!

I will never ever go through a self checkout. People depend on those jobs to feed their families. The customer DOES NOT work for the company they are spending their money at. I always introduce myself to the person working the cash register. It is a pleasant experience to spend your money at a business that knows you and the human interaction keeps you coming back.😀🇨🇦

the shipping issues is either on the person who orders it or the person who is to ship it. Depending on how big the part is, UPS or FedEx ground or even freight should've had it to them within the week. There's no excuse for the month long delay if it was truly in-stock.

IN BC Canada, gas is supposed to hit 2.45 a litre for regular gas. I believe it’s around 9$ a gallon for you guys
There were a Bill, funding 30 hour work week instead of 40, still get payed the same amount for Eldercare, didnt go through as far as i know, but imagine the quality in the work, if you get more people into the business, and still get payed full amount.

I feel you about waiting for parts on that machine. When wind knocked down my motorcycle in early February it had small damage, but enough to prevent me riding. I went to two dealers and the main one (and furthest away from me) couldn't guarantee when those parts will be available. I decided to buy them at the dealer that was closer to me and it was about mid-May when those parts finally arrived. Once I received them it took less than 30 minutes to repair the damage and to be able to ride again.

I know nothing about concrete but I have been consistently watching you for a couple months now as well as trying to catch up on the old videos, you’re all I watch man! Satisfying work and awesome to watch man! I’m from minnesota and work in the trades as a drywall finisher/ taper and I know the satisfactory that comes with finishing work with pride!
I’m going to hit you with a hard question and I get it if you can’t get back to it but this is kind of a broad question that could have a lot of answers… a little back story recently becoming father myself this past summer with a beautiful son while working full time in the trades at the same time trying to start up a finishing business of my own with hope to eventually make the side work full-time in its own! My question is how do you manage all of it so well? You strike me as a family man and provider above all and I can relate to that a bunch as I want nothing but the best and most for my family. I’m the grand scheme of things How do you handle TH-cam, running a business, and being there for the fam at the same time?

Ryan just wondering why you don't use credit cards for your guys when they fill up fuel? The amount of fuel you use you would either get $$$ back or points for free hotel or free flights. I think you are missing out on an opportunity. In my company we always use credit cards when possible to take advantage of the perks and it makes it easier to keep track of receipts when you get it on your bill.

Those trucks have automatic shut off so after a certain amount of time if you don't accelerate it, it will shut off, so i don't think there's any problem with it, just a heads up 😃👍
I’m with ya on the “do the work yourself” check outs, we all need to boycott self checkout, they NEVER end up being quicker., they ALWAYS mess up the place you item in baggage area, or “item removed from baggage area” then your waiting on a cashier who looks at you like you are scamming them…
i know its crazy but theres alot of money in soil stabilization with cement/lime powder or slurry . its not a whole lot of work on a small scale operation like it is on big sites. the mud made me think about it
Ryan have you looked into commercial diesel stations or maybe having fuel delivered to the yard? where i used to work in CA the company used a company and every vehicle had a key fob that they used to fill up the equipment. no cash or cards required.

Other contractors don’t work for builders for one reason. Because they know the actual costs to complete the work so the contractor can not bid up the cost like they do to an unknowing customer. So it is not worth it to work on a job making a 10% profit from a builder when they can make a 50% profit from an unknowing customer
