I have 2 Ionic 100 aH coming for my 2000 TR21 that has a 80lb fortrex. I have the same experience as you and I'm from Shelby. I like to fish shallow and burn down a bunch of docks or whatever they're on. I have 2 group 31s with 210 minute reserve and I run them down to 30 percent in 3.5 hours. I'm looking forward to getting the batteries tomorrow. They should be here before my tournament tomorrow evening but I don't want to risk a little club tournament being my first time to try them out. I also bought a 4 bank Ionic charger from the great outdoors. I'm also worried about losing a little performance by taking so much weight out. The front of my boat has about 40 rods and who knows how much weight in plastics, jigs, and crankbaits. So I may add some talons or powerpoles eventually to the rear to make up for some of the weight I'm taking out. Or Ill see what happens with filling the livewells up. My boat is sensitive as it is with chinewalking, but I didnt have that problem at all in my ZX185C I used to have
Just made the buy today on the 12v 125ah and 2, 12v 100ah with the 4 bank charger if I decide to go to a 36V trolling system. Super excited to try these out
I bought a 50ah one for my live scope. When the interstate one’s go bad I’m going to change over to all lithium. You definitely get your moneys worth out of them.
If you went fishing in the next couple weeks, which do you think would be better, hickory or lookout shoals? I've not fished either very much. Thanks enjoy your videos.
@@kevinarcher7701 I run Yamaha, I’ve heard some people that have had some issues… not sure yet. I hear they are fine with mercury, Suzuki, not sure though.
Good to hear I just bought 3 ionics for this season. Can't wait to test them out. Still got ice on a lot of lakes in Michigan lol.
I hear ya, I just got a ionic 12volt 50 ah for my jonboat and I was amazed! There awesome

Lookout gets pressured less I feel like
One year later have the ionics lost any charge capacity? If you did this today would you buy Ionic?
@@chriswaroblak979 yes I would still buy
I hear they will slow boat down. Did that happen to you? Reason they say is less weight in back causes less lift in the front
Didn’t bother mine at all
What size amh you using and how many? Can you use lithium for cranking batteries?
@@kevinarcher7701 I don’t use lithium for cranking. I use 100 ah
@@sandersfishing2720 you are thinking about switching thou correct? To lithium cranking?
