Thank you for the kind words, I think about 3 hours would be comfortable, the views are spectacular so don't rush. There and back would be approx 20 miles but you'll make steady progress so approx. 7mph on an MTB should be doable.

Hi Stuart, there is some good riding around the Clwydian range. This is a 30 miler I have waiting to be completed - www.komoot.com/tour/382965254?ref=atd . I've ridden around there quite a bit and there isn't anything too technical. Mid Wales has some good stuff too, again this is on my list at some point - www.komoot.com/tour/251985484?ref=atd

Hi! Loved the video it looks amazing, don't suppose you'd mapped it at all? Would love to see it and give it a go!

Thanks Nicola, there are a couple of links in the description for the rides which are on Komoot and Strava. I think you should be able to download the GPX files from there or at least see the route on a map overlay.

Hi David, the link to the ride on both Strava and Komoot should be in the description.

I ride around Bowland/Pendle a lot on the roads but have recently just built a Gravel bike to explore off the beaten track a bit, however, I'm not a fan of when it gets really gnarly with massive boulders and unrideable sections, I gave that stuff up a long time ago, from the video it looks like its pretty smooth...most of the stuff in your video is plain sailing but did you come across many really unrideable sections?

Not at all, there isn't anything technical across Salter Fell. It does get a bit rough on a couple of the climbing sections but they are very short, it's nothing to bump you off at all it will just rattle your bones for a few metres. The only risk on the faster descents is it's loose gravel so take care not to wash out at speed but it's smooth going.
I hope you enjoy it if you give it a go.

@@whichway7496 Hi, many thanks for the reply. Yeah I think I will, too good an opportunity to miss! There have been quite a few other little tracks around there that ive seen over the years and wondered what they lead to, no excuse now!! Thanks again
