I wanted to pin a message from Danny Hope in the comments here: "Superb, thank you for putting the race on Olga and a brilliant video. Given how passionate you clearly are about fellrunning and this race, I thought you'd be interested in our family's long history at this race. Rob has won three times 2000, 2010, 2024 I have won it five times 2002, 2003, 2004, 2013, 2014 I had the course record on the old, longer course, 30.25, it used to go further east from Paddy's Pole into the peat hags. My Dad John (who watched on top of Parlick on Tuesday) had the vet 40 record 31.21 in 1991, Rob and I ran that day I think aged 14 and 17. Rob has the current course record as you know. Thanks again, see you at a race soon, Two Lads?"
I was worried that I made a fool out of myself. Before the start, I forgot to tell them where the presentation was going to be. But thank goodness I had the loud speaker 📢
