PLEASE make more Wo Long you have always been my favorite TH-camr i started watching you in the Dark Souls 3 days and i literally watched every DS3 video you made and i forget the one now but there was one i watched like 50 times because just hearing you puts me in a good mood you're always so happy, positive, and knowledgeable as hell. I was using the Ferocious Young Conqueror set through all of NG. Went into NG and was just getting absolutely trashed by even little dudes with that light armor. So farmed the Ursine Warrior set since I had the 5 star weapon already, upgraded my pogo stick, and am now dunking on NG+ with my variation of your build. I put stone enchant on the glaive, lightning enchant on the staff, and poison weapon magic spell. I apply the poison first, then when the buff runs out I apply the stone then swap to staff to apply lightning. It absolutely DESTROYS their Ki. Loving it, thank you for the inspiration. I'm not max level yet but once I am, I'm dumping the rest of my points into metal and swapping the poison weapon buff for the spell in your video.

Edit: We had the same thought with this game I think. I'm rocking Cao Cao's armor atm too because its tanky even tho I am cheesing with the Guding Blade martial art atm. I'm glad there are other broken martial arts haha

Dude I agree with pretty much everything said. When I got to new game plus I was like wtf! I was getting 1 shot on the first boss with heavy gear? Um ok… lol couldn’t believe it. Souls, nioh all that wasn’t that much of a difficulty spike. Usually it like a 15%-20 to enemies health a attack power. This was no way a 20% increase to their health and damage. More like 50%! And you are right, I’m almost though new game plus and I feel like I’m not much stronger then I was at the end of new game. Makes we worried for dlc and new game ++. Does this game make you want to play nioh? Cause it does for me lol
Im loving this game a million times more than dark souls, i reached 15 million genuine QI recently, which is level 150, once u play at level 150, its soooo fckn fun

Glad your back, awesome build, I made a fire build using sun ce armour which is light armour in new game plus, it was embarrassing to see, am making your build to help me through new game plus, and av got toxic enchant on my weapon, am curious about something now I have that perk, should I use, toxic accumulation, toxic power on all my gear and still use a earth spell to apply stone? Please let me know, oh and the 5 star drop rates are embarrassing too

The Rampancy set is also a very good heavy set to pair with Stone weapons. A bit more rng to get, but worth it!
I used the rampancy set for the majority of my initial playthrough. It's good but as soon as you can get those effects on something else, it's kinda weak imo. Now the staff is busted. Has A scaling on Wood and Earth. It's the best staff for pure damage. Haven't seen another with that kind of scaling.

After watching your outstanding and inspiring clip, I'm about to do a NG++ on the harder difficulty setting using your build! I had that "pogo stick" weapon on hand in my inventory, from leveling up an NPC ally, but I wound up salvaging it for its steel to use on another sword I liked better. But, I did find one in a random drop in the second Lu Bu confrontation and got it up to a +9. I assume I'll find cold forged steel and Jian leather on the harder setting, am I correct?
This is like the equivalent to all OP splitstaff spam builds in the depths. Hopefully this isn’t patched by the time I’m progressed in Wo
Agree with everything you said about NG+. In addition, I don’t understand why the bosses start at moral 25. Especially in some of these sub missions where you literally cannot farm other enemies to increase your moral. It just throws into a 2v1 or 3v1 gank where each enemy can 1-2 shot you
I think that's where you just constantly chug ur elixirs cuz iirc it resets on flags.
If uve stone enchant embedded on the wep, and use lightning wep from the spelltree, do the elements stack on your wep?

You are right but you have to remember this that there is more dlc coming out so they not going to give you everything yet. Its a slow up grade so be patience because they want you to keep playing on. Ive finished the game already and have all the grace set and plenty of other sets built with 5*. Thats all i have. I don't even bother now looking at 4* gear only bows. The only part i play now is the battle royal to test and try out new build and weapons. Still though appreciate you content.

You're missing some key points. In Nioh, it wasn't the grace sets themselves that made you so much stronger, it was the ability to stack 2 different set bonuses and stack as much relevant stats that worked with those graces. It was the yasakani as well. You can go to nioh, base game and just wear a basic grace and nothing else and you're not that much stronger. The strength also came from being level capped at 750, not 150. Nioh felt the same in base game and I'm sure this game will follow. We have a yasakani effect. It's just gonna take hundreds of hours to be able to stack relevant set bonuses, which sucks but this game will definitely follow in Niohs footsteps.
I do agree with most of this but understand at the end of Dream of the Strong, I was OP as hell for Dream of the Strong, when starting Dream of the Demon I was weak but Op by the end and so on. The real thing this game is missing is the soul match system, if we had Level 18 weapon and armor we would be good.
also level 300 was capped level for Dream of the Strong

I have a question I know you said 5 star gear are trash but do you know where I can farm the Azure dragon crescent glaive since I stupidly got rid of my 4 star one.
There is one place I know, on the main mission the Battle of Hulaoguan Pass there is a chest it can come in, its next to Battle Flag 2, it may only come at 3 star but its worth a try cuz its a quick run there.

Nothing. It's just the way the game is. Probably go for a different weapon. Guiding blade or something with martial arts that covers distance..

What don't you understand .if you want chill to accumulate faster put chill accumulation on your gear. But ice really shines in mobility and getting alot of spirit back for parrying . The spell imo aren't really that good for damge compared to other elements . Not that it's unusable just not as damage forward

This build only works if you can apply at least 2 or 3 elemental effects on the enemy. Which means you NEED one elemental enchant on your weapon. However I've never seen this enchant ever in my 80hrs on any weapon I've found so far. Not one. That's why this build is not that great if you don't have that. You cannot apply 3 dots on the enemy in this fast combat without one on your weapon as basic. Not gonna work.

I got like 6 lightning, 7 stone, and 5 flame but 0 toxic 0 ice

All of the problems you mention (bad balancing, buffs don't last long, 5 virtue system provides no benefit) exist because Team Ninja didn't know how to balance for PvP.
The game could have been so much better WITHOUT PvP (bc they had to nerf so many of the things that would make the game good *just* to balance for PvP).

It my Personal opinion only but i think level 25 was Overkill iam hoping that they dont do the Player is 20 25 the Mobs 20 25 30 35 40
Buffs cost nothing outside of combat, should solve it.
Is one misstake in this video, 5* stars item, have a chance random be with uniq set bonus enchant. This set bonuse is always uniq and rng get this too all your list item droop. When setup full set with this uniq enchat. You got really good Grace Set Bonuse depends from element virtue you use. And this is real 5* item prupose. For example, when you get "bond" only with cao cao npc, armor item and weapon will be added to your personal "item list droop" so you have better chance get 5* items exacly from cao cao set. Adding armors from NPC have some kind cost in intem droop. Bigest "item drop list" 》》 means "lower chance" for your perfect equipment for your perfect build. Enjoy playing time.
facts. facts. facts. this game my character never once felt like he was getting stronger. even when you upgrade your weapon or get a full armor set... these Bonuses arre so bad?? I though tteam ninja wouldvve learned from nioh. but nope HATE IT when developers Take 5 stepts forward and then 8 steps back....The Moral system is stupid. its fun for ur first play through. but farming bosses while having to run through the entire stage and HAVING TO RECOLLECT each flag in order to raise moral is such TEDIUM. WHY is team ninja obssessed with GRINDING. this shit is so stupid. idk how anyone could find this games end game as fun. ive tried Close to every armor set with the proper Embedments and no set feels even moderatly powerfull unless you use Guding blade and Grapple or You spam Ominous chill on a water weak enemy ttype. GAAH im done my rant. done playing with this game. its a waste of time until they release DLC.
Wrote a game review saying a bunch of stuff you said. The so called gaming channels - the popular ones don't even criticize the developers much. Game is good for about 10 hours. No storehouse auto for arrows, no way of saving Qi, Moral system, weapon arts fixed, can't change assessories, one hit attack kills, and the list goes on and on...

I fume when I first started playing and I saw the gear only gives +3% dmg bonuses... And you can only have 1 dmg modifier on your equipment. Meaning 5stars are trash because that last embedment will be used for +2% resistance bonuses 🙄🙄 cahman.unique weapons also ruining build diversity, because it forces the playstyles on the player vs letting the player choose their route to build towards. In nioh you were able to use anything, any weapon type was viable any moves and abilities you wanted to spam could work with proper min/maxing. But here? In wo long? You NEED to use the good weapons because the trash ones are throw away. Rarities are useless and only have 2 weapon abilities per weapon the game play is forced on us rather than us creating our own ganeplay..
The differences in quality between Nioh and Wo Long are very noticeable in (literally) everyway possible. There is nothing that Wo Long does better than a game that is, what, ten years old now? It's a shame as the warring period of China would be a very interesting setting but, man oh man, I am highly disappointed in the game. It isn't even in the same realm as Nioh and Nioh 2.

Level up your companions. They all give you complete sets of gold gear. You Can farm cups of cordiality in part 2 on one of the missions, can't remember it's like fort of yellow heaven or something

I wish martial arts didn't exist it makes deflecting,spell, learning bosses and pvp lame when you can spam a art and kill things ez same problem elder ring had at launch too many weapon art that kill bosses to quickly
Then don't use them . Parry the boss raise its bar get a crit repeat. You don't have to use the martial arts . This is the sane shit as people complaining about ashes of war. If you don't like it don't use it , no one is forcing you to .
