@@aznjr I would not call c6 four-star free to play friendly. One c6 four star takes way more wishes than c0 five stars. It may even compare more to c1 or c2 five stars, and the five stars are way stronger. Four stars are a bonus on the five stars you want, not something to wish on.

@@aznjr Yes, but the amount of 5 stars you get until that journey means you have more five stars then c6 four stars and therefore c6 four stars take more time and wishes to get then c0 five stars and is not a good way to build the account around. When you have 8 c6 four stars to make an abyss team with, you could already have had two five-star teams. So the idea of only using four stars makes the testing less free to play friendly then the way Jello test things. There are also simply too many four stars for any reliability from the standard banner, especially since you can get weapons too. I have yet to even get a good four stars from it so far after 1.5 years of playing, and that's with the battle pass. Four stars are a bonus to the five stars, but only using four stars is not an accurate picture. With recent banners this is even more true, cause the four-star selection on banners have been pretty bad too, meaning you won't even get good four stars to c6.
They did. But at the same time, she's underestimated as well. I'd say she's stronger than a bunch of other four stars he rates above her, who also have no place in the META between them being weaker overall and having better alternatives, while also being a bad element. But at the same time, being geo and having her very lackluster normal attacks means that, while she's pretty effective (for a four star DPS) for those of us who actually build and use her, she's not worth building for anyone else. She's like Heizou, Chongyun, Freminet, Kaeya, and so on in that regard. None of those characters are really worth building, other than because you find them fun/interesting.
They dropped her to 5 star BECAUSE of a poll involving her vs the mobody electro unit thats so forgettable its a joke Keqing. All because "cat ears" keqing became 5 star..
They did her dirty early. She used to not feel so clunky on her normals. Way back in 1.something her charged attack didn't feel weird it flowed like Yanfeis charge from normals. When they did her "animation fix/upgrade" it made her charges super clunky.
There is one unique thing that Albedo's kit has that I feel will elevate him in the future: He is the only Geo Character capable of providing Elemental Mastery. All the characters we have capable of providing EM are Anemo and Dendro, two elements that have zero synergy with Geo, so when a new Geo DPS or Support is released that scales in EM, Albedo will be the best in slot since he will provide a great EM Buff as well as activate Geo Resonance and even help with Off-Field Geo Application.
The only thing in Albedo's kit that elevates him is his flower if he's standing on it. Honestly, I don't think we'll ever see a geo character that scales with EM. Mostly because of how shields work, that being another early thing (alongside vape, melt, and Benny) that Hoyoverse majorly screwed up the balance on. That 2.5x as effective against their own element is a total rookie designer move. And while people like to crap on crystalize, with EM, the shields get hefty against their own element. Heck, without EM, 5k of damage absorption. Add EM to that, and some shield strength... And that means enemies that have PECH shields or infuse themselves with PECH can pretty much see all their damage negated by crystalize from an EM build geo. The hydro legendary, for example... EM build Albedo will pretty much entirely neutralize its damage. Which puts an EM geo in a weird spot. If they're balanced against other enemies, then they'll be OP against those PECH type ones. And if they're balanced against those PECH type enemies, they'll be weaksauce against the rest.
There is one thing that I think Hoyo is cooking for later plunge damage with his elevating construct. Now this was something they showcased as a "thing" when Albedo first came out. So I am still kind of coping that they do something around that
@@azuarc You will be the clown when we get a set that boosts crystallize by a lot. They know Albedo is a fan favorite and they also know they have made his kit underwhelming. Already in Natlan we get craftable DEF weapons that are better than the ones currently exist, so better than Cinnabar for instance
Shenhe is my most regreted charater. I have Wryo. She is totaly useless there. I cant actually use her in any team. I even tried her in Eula again - bad. premier cryo my as
The Shenhe analysis hurt. I'm still planning on grabbing her as soon as her banner returns, but it hurts. Here's to hoping Chasca or Citali make her viable on more teams.
Honestly I think it’s okay to still go for Shenhe since she’ll enable any cryo unit going forward She’s so future proof, especially compared to characters made as dps- I don’t think there’s a world where Shenhe ever gets power crept directly
I think Shenhe will still have value for any current and future cryo DPS. Not every team can use Furina because there are two sides to the abyss and Furina can only be on one! 😉
I made a dual DPS team with Sethos, Tighnari, Fischl and Baizhu that is surprisingly really strong, to me it felt like the best aggravate team I've played. You're just blasting enemies with charged shots, constantly swapping characters and triggering Fichl's passive a tonne which I find really fun. Each character can dump their kit in a couple seconds so the rotation is super fast and simple: Fischl skill/burst -> Tighnari skill, charged, burst, 2x charged -> Sethos 2x charged, skill, charged until you're out of energy -> Baizhu skill, burst Tighnari has Ibis Piercer and Sethos has Cloudforged, both have Wandering Troupe sets. Fischl has Skyward and Golden Troupe. Baizhu hasThrilling Tales and Instructors. I would highly recommend testing this team out if you haven't already 🙌
it would be stronger to give both Tighnari and Sethos the 3-star crit weapon that gives bonus damage if it hits the enemy within ~1 second or less. That weapon is actually cracked and recommended on KeqingMains (its a website) for every on field bow user as a FTP option.
Me vs Myself. Hu tao was my old main but sadly she has been replaced by Arle (who happens to be my fave charcter). I wish i could still use hu tao more but Father just does more damage
Its pretty easy to discern who is the better pyro dps when one has the fastest clear speeds and the other cant even reach that threshold without constellations and a bunch of other 5*s.
Hu Tao picks Furina + Xianyun + Xingqui, Arle picks Bennet + Zhongli/Kazuha + Yelan. And you have two amazing vape tems, I don't see a clash between them honestly.
17:18 Heizou. Trust me yall, give this man a Prototype amber and rejoice with the most valuable support you can wish for. The shortest burst CD in the game and one of the lowest costs. The energy you regain from casting the burst with PA almost refunds it. Add a bit more ER and you can have him in your rotations just bursting, providing healing, ER, VV for the entire team as well as a bit of grouping while dishing out respectable damages well. Heizou support, is so undervalued.

17:04 I use Mika on Wriothesley freeze with Furina and Kazuha and the extra attack speed makes Wriothesley’s punches even more fun and the team does really solid damage.
I do that team too! His animations are short and he has no circle impact, so he feels nice to play with Furina. I also tried Mika with Ayato and faster slashes are really fun too.
I think Tighnari should be a bit higher than that considering his main team (with Nahida/Yae/Zhongli) is still one of the best performing boss killer teams in the game and has regularly been amongst the most used teams according to the data whenever there's a triple boss floor 12 lineup.

What Yunjin needs is an off-field character that deals Normal ATK damage. She actually gives 120 stacks in total, but you can only use 30 stacks since only one character can be on-field at any given time outside of co-op.

Lmao , no. Simply because her buff isn't big enough hollistically. Even if she buffs 2 characters ,she will be simply outpaced by a lot of supports . Motion value is useless if you don't have buffs to capitalise on it , and 2 or 3 characters getting buffed by yunjin doesn't give you much room for buffs .

Now imagine if her pets deal Normal ATK damage instead of Skill DMG. Then the team will be complete. Also fyi Yunjin's buff is already slightly stronger than Bennett. The only problem is that no one can use it. It's like if Xiangling can't snapshot Bennett's buff.

My point is Yunjin still has an untapped potential even 3 years later. The devs just doesn't care much about improving the current 4* cast.
I understand your pain putting yoimiya so low. She was my first five star and is my favorite character. I tried and tried to make her work all throughout Fontaine. I c6ed my bennet got yelan and furina but could never 3 star the abyss. eventually I got father and poor yoimiya has never seen the light of day again. 😭😭

@@tacotube8568 yea but unfortunately the crit rate is so inconsistent it kinda doesnt make sense to stay at 80 cr unless you reset or just dont have better artifacts. which is fair if youre not running MH with furina, but then its still inconsistent sadly. its a really big buff if you do get it though and you can technically reset a lot
@@jamiedoesthingsa c6 thoma is his best shielder if youve got a second pyro (meta wise you always want bennett anyway). if you can go without shielder, he does a lot more damage. the difficulty of no shield wanderer is greatly overstated in my experience
Something worth mentioning: Chevreuse gave Yoimiya new options, especially for dual targets and AoE. With a medium-high level of f2p investment, Yoimiya/Fischl/Chevreuse/Beidou can clear chambers surprisingly fast and does just fine against bosses. The lack of reliance on Bennett's buffs and Beidou's interruption resistance made it my go-to team for small AoE chambers.
I just leveled Mona for IT and I really like using her in the overworld so I’m eagerly awaiting your Mona guide! Hoping to get Candace’s last constellation as well.
I think the biggest disagreements I have are Sara’s placement and DMC vs Collei (c6). Sara’s not even BiS in the teams you mentioned and if we compare her to 4 stars below her, she has a similar / lower amount of teams. DMC and Collei have similar Dendro application and in Hyperbloom, the frontload Collei has is so bad.
also Jello, If you really like Yoimiya I have a team suggestion for you. I'm F2P and I recommend trying Yoimiya in a Yoimiya Furina Xingqiu/Yelan Baizhu team. By having Yoimiya on Marechausse and EM Sands, Baizhu on Instructor, and consistently using Yoimiya's burst, you can trigger Burgeon and strong Vapes to help her AoE and damage which feels a lot better, I don't have Yelan but I think it would be better than Xingqiu since Baizhu already provides the shielding for her. I used this team on both the second and first side of this abyss and was able to 36 star too and my Yoimiya isn't even level 90 so the Burgeons would be significantly less dmg.
I expected Eula to be low, but now below Heizou low. I'm also a bit surprised by Yanfei. I'm guessing that she's *really* good with plunge. I just don't rate her very high because there are so many on-field Pyro characters. I also don't know how I would rate characters that are low damage, but don't really have a lot of competition. Just there aren't a lot of off-field Dendro and Geo applicators. But yeah, really high quality tier list.

My xiangling deals more damage. I want to play Klee. Her best team has xiangling. I want to play raiden, childe. They both want xiangling. She grabs me by the throat. I fish for her. I cook for her. I give her the catch. She isn't satisfied. I pull engulfing lightning. "I don't need this much er" She tells me. "Give me more field time." She grabs bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with homa." I can't pull for homa, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world.
I dont think we're playing furina impact, nor does everyone want, have or use her, so making her as the metric of how good or useful a character is pretty stupid and not "unbiased".
Saying that there are people who don't want to use her is personal preference. Not everyone wants to play bennet, nahida, kazuha, etc... by this definition, we should not take these powerful supports into consideration when discussing meta.

Why not nahida? Or kazuha? By that metric half of the game will literally be low tier units if u're rating the characters on their competency to play with 1 specific support

He doesn't use her specifically as a metric to judge a character's strength 🤷♂️ 2. Evey single character in this game can work with furina albeit to varying degrees. So calling her a sidegrade in every team she's in is also wrong. 3. Nahida and kazuha are locked to dendro and PECH respectively. Furina doesn't have this restriction. 4. Jello said himself that he has tried to remove all of his biases for this tier list, and even if he did have them, it would be for raiden or clorinde. He doesn't particularly like furina that much, he just genuinely thinks her kit is very good.

Giving a huge elemental DMG buff to ALL units is non existent except for furina, which makes her very good for almost all characters and she is also hydro, which is the best element in the game that synergizes with basically every element. I don’t think she’s ever a “sidegrade”. At worst she’s an alternative to some variation of a team that is very functional.
This was EXTREMELY Furina biased. Jello literally put versatily and team flexibility as a criteria but all I see is if they work with Furina, Neuvillete and Arlecchino, they're pretty good. Wth logic was that? Absolutely not everyone has them. Some may even not like them. How is Candace so high when she only has one team with Arlecchino and even then she sucks. Xingqiu is free. Why would anyone EVER use her. Dehya is outclassed by every Pyro unit. Yet she's good because she can plunge? If you wanna use plunge, you'd still use any other character ever. Saying that team contribution, flexibility and power level matters and then literally putting characters high because they work with the best units in game is such a BIASED MOVE.
razor being a tier under xinyan and freminet seems like a pretty blatant oversight. he literally just does more damage than them while also having more team possibilities (chevreuse, xianyun, aggravate, hyperbloom, burgeon, rainbow, physical, double geo, hypercarry) also you put xinyan in T3 only because of xianyun teams when razor is literally better in xianyun teams (he has the second heightest plunge scaling in the game ffs) not to mention his c4 lowers defense and he also has physical scaling on ascension. xinyan brings nothing to the table that razor doesn't besides a bad shield so why you put her a full tier above him is beyond me

@@unstable7505 I mean, Freminet at C3+ has the highest scaling out of any claymore character for plunge other than Diluc or Gaming. He also has 20 more base attack points, attack ascension and can be played on both vape and melt plunge teams. Plunge melt does have a niche BTW, melt just does more damage than vape, which means if you can't fit Furina for some reason the melt team is better. Rosaria is more than capable of applying enough cryo to melt reliably on plunge. I'm not sure I agree with Xinyan above Razor. If was for 5.0 I think I would, but right now she struggles and doesn't really have a team that makes a lot of sense. I don't think she's better on plunge but it's not like I'd want either one of her or Razor, if I'm picking a 4 star and for some reason ignoring Gaming I'd pick Freminet every time.
She sheets better and actually has AoE, yes she’s not likeable, yes everyone says she’s shit but at C6 she’s fine in this placement. Yoimiya is inexcusably mediocre, no AoE, bad vertical investment, not competitive even in single target, feels bad without a shielder and so on.
I can already see all the drama on part 2 (already got people getting very defensive in these comments) Plus, a mobile player, a PC player, and a console player are all gonna have very different tier lists because they, mechanically speaking, almost play different games
Jello, you should consider making a theoretical 10 team abyss lineup before Natlan releases. Since you have tested and built every character, you're uniquely qualified to to try this hyper-endgame on paper. Zajef has already made such a list a little while back, and we are eager to hear your thoughts.
Furina is better for all Cryo carries whether we look at calcs or just in practice performance. You still have this notion that she’s the best Cryo buffer but nowadays there’s no need to get her for any of them
Damn I disagree with the placement of Keqing and Noelle, imo Keqing should be higher. On Noelle's team you can only play her basically on 2 teams and both teams required Furina to be competitive. While Keqing can be played in aggravate and hyperbloom which I believe has higher damage ceiling than Noelle's team
Electro traveler has one niche for me. As someone that builds almost exclusively male characters he’s the only off field electro option making him a very important member of my Alhaitham aggravate teams. Building him with full ER and EM makes him pretty useful! Add a sac sword on top of that and rotations with him are pretty smooth.
37:14 - Because Beidou's burst can be procced by charged attack damage, Neuvillette drives her damage like nothing else, even when there's more than two targets.
I'm a main DPS Ningguang player and found that her best carry team in abyss (currently) is with Furina, Zhongli, and Bennett/Sigewinne. However, I favor Sigewinne more due to movement flexibility (no circle lock) and teamwide healing which buffs the whole team simultaneously through Furina's stacks. She also gives Elegy and Song of Days Past buffs and does not require ER to activate like Bennett so I don't have to worry about that for smooth rotations. This team can be very good on the second floor of 4.8 abyss. I know she (and somewhat Zhongli) in this team can dish out a lot of damage because when the ruin drakes on floor 12-1-1 gain extra elemental resistance (in some of my more sloppy runs), it's always Geo that lights up and not Hydro, so Furina is not the one contributing the most damage here. Also, with the addition of Furina now, Shenhe can actually be pretty good with Ganyu freeze + Jean on VV (except on super aggro enemies ofc). But I agree that for a 5*, her cryo buffing kit could have been better.
Hang on... Xinyan ranking versus Kaveh's- Is there a reason you've rated her higher because of plunge? Apparently Kaveh's unique plunge animation is a slight benefit with Xianyun plunge teams.
It's in the top 5 best team tho! Do some research and compare differents results. Or go watch some theory crafting. Only neuvilette is not debatable. The rest are all subject to debate( talking about order) since there is too much factor to take into consideration and no, stronger raw dmg doesn't mean better team dmg depending on each player. (*Cough* Arlecchino)
Eula in T3 was saddening especially if you know her lore. She is disregarded and looked down upon by everyone and has no friends except Amber so she’s almost always alone. I really hope that superconduct support comes out sooner than later so my girl can finally be appreciated.
@@mayukhmondal5552 Mona buffs DMG. This is INCREDIBLY useful. There are characters who batery, heal, and apply electro better than Dori. She just takes up a spot in a team that could be someoneuch better.
@@vstonemanthere is actually just no team where replacing mona with furina/yelan/xq doesn't drastically improve the team. Also you should check out dori EC (furina yelan kazuha). No other electros don't work to this degree, there is no other party wide electro healer who insta maxes furina fanfare. This team is literally better than Noelle or jeans variants ..... like bruh how do you not know about this its a year old at this point
I personally use mona as a "healer" using prototype amber on some furina teams, my best one being Yelan/Furina/Hu tao. Her healing with prototype amber allows me to be sub 50% hp% for hu tao and homa's passive to trigger and if you have some cons on mona, you raise crit rate and vaporize damage. That team is probably my strongest and my hu tao can hit around 180-200k per charge attack with the whole set up and mona using PA is one of the few "healers" that can also buff your team and because my furina has some cons, mona's healing is enough to max fanfares. She is very underrated.
I dont understand your reasoning, you put xinyan on t3 just because she is a claymore and can be used in plunge teams but razor literally has the second highest plunge scaling in the game and you put him lower than her and his teams aggravate/hyperburgeon are way better than xinyan physical teams
I had so much trouble trying to make Yoimiya's numbers good with vape, melt, hypercarry buffs like Benny, Furina, and Mona and what made her numbers good was this team: Chevruse, Raiden, Bennett, and Yoi. Chev's buff is amazing. I tried this same team with C2 Dehya and Diluc and it works best with Yoimiya because 1. overload throws enemies away from you and she can keep hitting them when they do. 2. circle impact is actually pretty easy with her. You just stand in Bennett's circle and let her target whoever is closest. Light enemies get knocked back from the circle so you don't get mobbed. I'm not an amazing player but I've been able to take out the Icewind Suite for instance VERY quickly with this lineup
Dori ranking pains me considering she needs C6 and two archons who are strongest characters in the game to make a team that isn't a sidegrade, but I'm also a biased Itto main so seeing that capitalist above my boy hurts. otherwise there's nothing too controversial here. can't wait for Part 2!
I mean the team Dori furina yelan kazuha is a very good single target team, falling only slightly behind from koko mono hydro. I feel like this placement is fine considering the ceiling of these teams in the investment according to the assumptions
@@pakattac i mean i guess, but it just feels so cope to me and using up way too many useful 5* characters on Dori. i mean i fully don't know the numbers, but wouldn't an Anemo healer with a Pyro on-fielder do significantly more damage? Kazuha's extra damage buff is nice but not exactly necessary cuz of Furina, and then grouping doesn't really matter if it's a single target team. and because it's single target, Electro-Charged isn't really doing much as a reaction. i know in Jello's Dori guide he did Dori Furina Fischl Kazuha, which IS better to me... but also he admitted that it's probably equal to running Kokomi in Dori's slot, and considering that Kokomi gets interruption resistance and has range, I can't imagine the Dori version feels better to play. i dunno, i think Dori turned out to be significantly better than people expected after Furina released, but now it feels a little overcorrected. i'd personally place her around Candace, as they're similarly C6-locked and require very specific teams to work, but at least Candace can be a niche upgrade and has actual synergy with Arle, whereas Dori to me feels like an absolute sidegrade at best that you only run if you were unlucky enough to get a C6 of her before a single copy of Shinobu.
@@TheWayOfTheWott Yeah, Dori is like Noelle and Siggy... a healer made viable because Furina has a healer tax. But they're still not actually good. Good characters can be that with a wide variety of partners.

This is because this team is essentially Dori driving to maximize furina and yelan’s personal dmg. That’s why Fischl instead doesn’t work because furina and yelan with hydro resonance does more dmg. Ofc it’s harder to play because there’s no interruption resistance, but ur free to dodge whenever in the combo. The reason nobody actually knows this team is because most people assume Dori to be an aggravate on fielder, despite this double hydro team being way significantly better. People assume because Dori has very low personal dmg that the team overall is bad, which isn’t true as seen by koko mono hydro.
I run a physical amber as my DPS and there are so many Bosses she can solo in a minute as well as there are a lot of enemy shields that a physical amber just ignores and kills them anyway
I tried my C1Arlecchino with Mona (plus Bennett, Kazuha) and I broke my record in abyss: 512k with vape bro, 3rd chamber, floor 12. Typical team for showcase, but it's funny that u can run it on daily basis with Arle.
I do actually disagree with Yoimiya, she as a solo carry is underwhelming, but her double pyro double geo with Chiori is a really solid team, Beidou + Chevreuse is a good workaround in aoe. Her full F2P team with Xingqiu, Bennett and Fischl does clear in similar timing as my Hu Tao team and is easier to play too.
If Hoyo was not so damn stupid with physical attack, they would have made Eula burst to be cryo infused. That would make so much change on the tier list. She could be the Reverse Melt Queen :( And Dehya would be so great as well :( Coming up with physical attack and then buff nearly all enemies to have high physical resistance is just a dumb thing... So sad for her :(
I love this tier list. He was explaining his placement decisions, and even if not all of them were 100% objective, he made great points. Also I love to see T2 being this crowded seems like a goor middle ground for the good units aren't particularly meta or the most popular options (for example I am a huge fan of Mika in my Wanderer team with Furina even tho he doesn't provide anything other than Atk Speed and healing)
Nice bottom half of the tier list, I agree with most of this (especially the sadness you felt about Yoimiya and Shenhe). I do feel Tighnari belongs higher up in the list. His perfect synergy with Yae Miko and his really strong front loading of damage makes him great in some situations. There are 3 bosses that I always want to bring mine to: Wenut, Abyss worm and ASIMON. The fact that he can unload his entire combo before they go underground/invisble gives him quite an edge there. I do think Alhaitham is the better on field dendro carry but the difference between them isn't that huge. Alhaitham does have much better quickbloom possibilities tho.
I adore playing as Ningguang. She’s so much fun, and it kills me that she’s so bad. The Jade Shield is iconic, her homing gem attacks are iconic, and her burst is iconic ESPECIALLY when you have her C6, which gives her a ton of gems for a follow up charged attack. Shes such an iconic character, and is one of the few characters that I think really should get a rerelease. I would pull for 5* Ningguang in a heartbeat.
for Shenhe I play Ayaka, Shenhe, Furina, Xianyun, I dont have Kokomi and the team works very good when freeze is an option, I slot like just 2 plunges in the rotation so it doesnt mess much neither
Lyla (with fav) - Rosaria (with Fav) - Arlecchino (with dragons bane) - bennet (with instructors and key) = My most powerful melt team on my acc. (i replace bennet with xiangling sometimes aswell) everytime arlechino pokes 40k 70k 90k 100+k IT"S SOO SATISFYING i don't see big numbers as often in arle xincho vape team idk why...

Great list overall and my only nitpick would be putting Yun Jin and Eula a tier higher. For NA characters Yun Jin gives similar dmg amplification as Candace at C0 and at C6 Yun Jin takes the lead in my oponion because the 12% Atk speed buff smooths out attack strings for characters with short infusion windows like Clorinde. As for Eula I don't think her biggest problem is personal dmg but rather elemental shields. In that vein she is practically a physical version of Itto with more team flexibility (Hyper carry, Eula&Raiden, Hyperbloom) and thus should belong in the same tier as him
9:40 - You're utterly wrong there. The stacks Yun Jin provides are great in AOE. Ayato can only hit like 7-8 times during a skill stance (9-10 if Yun Jin is c6). In AOE, with Yun Jin's stacks, that a huge amount of front-loaded damage, potentially clearing a wave in a single rotation. The more stacks of Yun Jin's ammo you can burn before they expire, the MORE value she provides, not less.
Melt is still a good reaction. I 36 starred this abyss with Wrio melt. But I agree that shenhe is not very useful with him. My best clear with him was 69 seconds but that didn’t include shenhe.

To be fair, Shenhe good with all other cryo as well. Like monocryo teams really like her for the teamwide buffs, but her placment is absoltuly earned. She just not a *very* good unit. And I appreciate the Yanfei placement, she is really overlooked as an on-fielder. I really love her Furina teams as well.
As a Chiori C1 haver, it's really interseting hearing your take on Yunjin. I've been finding Chiori C1/Yunjin to be a surprisingly good combo, for Clorinde, Yoimiya etc. It's actually one of my stronger Clorinde teams. But the Chiori C1 aspect really boosts it a lot.
Plunge dehya is pure copium You literally can put any claymore character and plunge such character will deal the same amount of damage if you're only looking at normal attack scalings and that's it. (Neither of dehya's passives or cons contribute to her NA scalings for plunge) Xinyan is even better at plunge then dehya. If you don't have c6 bennet in a furina xianyun bennet core xinyan gains a 12% physical dmg bonus when protected by her shield, and also her cons make her NA physical hits have 100% crit rate, meaning you can stack crit damage all the way and do significantly more damage. The only factor that has Jello move dehya to t2 then below xinyan's t3 spot is because burgeon BUT THAT STILL DOES NOT JUSTIFY ANYTHING FROM DEHYA BEING BETTER THAN XINYAN Not that her elemental skill works really good for burgeon(because it actually is poopoo at its job for burgeon when you are for example trying to burgeon a big enemy like a ruin grader for example and also its pyro app is only every 2.5 seconds on a COORDINATED ATTACK) It's just because dendro reactions are powerful actually, xinyan can do pyro app quiet fine, from her burst and elemental skill really well and significantly faster this just makes xinyan better at burgeon then dehya Which leaves that the only reason dehya possibly could be at t2 and xinyan sit at t3 is just because dehya does less pyro app so she can vape her plunges easier in the furina bennet c6 xianyun core plunge teams IMO Dehya should be placed below xinyan regardless. Dehya is just a worse character than xinyan.
Before i say anything, the tierlist is great and out of many people, you are one of the few that actually try and play all characters intensively But, if you putting both freminet and xinyan in T3 purely for their weapon type and how well they are paired with Xianyun, i think putting geo traveler which yes, as you said is a side grade compared to chiori, is still a unit that can be used in at least 3 different teams, which are navia, noelle, and itto, compared to freminet and xinyan which need certain units and is still a sidegrade even compared to their 4* counterpart, gaming. other than that, i do wish natlan buffs physical carries for sure!
I would correct Jello a bit here: Collei and DMC. 39:39 DMC is not just in nilou or (healerless) aggravate teams. DMC is still really good in hyperbloom teams especially if you don't have nahida. 40:15 Saying C6 collei is the only functional hyperbloom enabler outside of nahida is just not true, i urge jello to see the f2p clears of iwin2lose, sevy or other CC's and see that most of the time DMC is there if they are using a hyperbloom team. Though at the grand scheme of things this doesn't really matter as DMC would still be at the same tier as collei, but there are just some statements here that are "false" that i wanted to correct a bit. Other comments: 1) Razor vs Freminet, both kits are saying "physical DPS", but Razor being electro and his kit having innate ER makes him equal or better than Freminet. I wouldn't use freminet in a 4-star only run just cause his damage is not high enough while razor's burgeons and/or hyperblooms deals so much more especially in f2p investment levels. 2) Geo MC, there are actually instances where i prefer using geo mc than zhongli mainly where enemies spawn in different parts of the map or are cringe and just destroys zhongli's pillar. I noticed that zhongli's pillar is basically the backbone in a navia team whether or not you will get ER issues while geo mc's skill though kinda quickswappy to use, it fits well in a navia team and you basically will never have any ER issues as long as you remember to quickswap to GMC. 3) Itto, would not really rank him any higher, but plunge itto is actually real. After testing, i actually much prefer this team (Furina, Xianyun, Itto, Geo Battery), while in his burst state his plunges are actually increased in size, while also you not having to worry about his combos, you just unga bunga plunge 8 times, and the remaining time you can use to CA.
I agree with Yoimiya, I really like her design,voice,character idle,animation. but her dps is just falling so far but she have the best smile in all Teyvat 😍

I feel like the shenhe vs just getting c1 furina problem is something sigewinne has a much bigger issue with. The shenhe vs c1 furina comparison is only really valid when both of the following holds true: 1. You already have C0 furina so the C0 is considered "free" 2. You currently are not using furina for a different team. Because shenhe is tied to ayaka and not tied to furina, its not necessarily valid to compare it with c1 furina. With sigewinne on the other hand its a lot more valid as she herself is tied to furina. So pulling sigewinne is an upgrade for mono hydro with furina but then you might as well just pull furina c1, and there is not really a way to get around that as sigewinne without furina just isnt good.
One day Eula will get the superconduct support she deserves. Also, hopefully Hoyo will powercreep Mika since his buff sucks and doesn't even apply if you swap out early for Eula's burst.
Whats up with TH-camrs underrating Yoimiya? even at C0 with 4 star Rust She hits insanely hard. Furina buffs her just as much as Hu Tao. Mine can do 200k + Normal attacks. Without good abyss buffs. but wait, if you want to easily clear abyss with her, the use the fu*king right team. Noone will tell you this but I will!!!! Use this team Yoimiya Bennet Fischl Furina Then speedrun abyss. Thank me later. Then only cons that will matter is Fischl C6.
To play kaveh in a nilou team, you have to put prototype amber R5 on nahida for teamwide healing and some bloom dodging from them in order to play xingqiu. Kaveh build has to be triple EM at least 180 ER some hp% instructor for 120 EM team buff and using forest regalia R5 for 120 EM single target buff given to xingqiu either at his start or during dash animation cancelling of xingqiu E. His burst also buffs team bloom dmg by a fixed percentage that is roughly equivalent between 80 and 120 EM. Kaveh does no personal dmg so just him to tank, dodge, destroy some shields like geo with his claymore and drive xingqiu rainswords by attacking every second. Starting rotation example (ignoring normal attacks): nilou E > Kaveh E > nahida Q E > xingqiu Q E E > Kaveh E Q
I wish that there was some way to make support Petra Albedo work. I think that was Hoyo’s intention for him when he released considering how his burst is so good at triggering a lot of Crystalize and gives an EM buff, but all parts of his kit, buffing, damage, the stupid split scalings, were all so undertuned. I wish they could give him some kind of unique use case now that he’s been power-crept in terms of damage by Chiori.
No I just think that they didn't think of specialization so each character did a little bit of everything. Split scaling is super dumb though, you have weak scaling for both or if they made it good then you'd have a busted damage for one part of the kit...
razor has higher plunge multipliers than xinyan (the whole reason you put her at t3) why is he lower?? + hes electro which helps with super conduct (also kaveh has the same multipliers as xinyan too)
Lynette I'd say deserves a little higher. She's just the most flexible 4 star anemo after Sucrose for your swirling for VV needs. Sayu is clunky, and Heizou doesn't have utility. As you've said, the taunt is nice.
As a Day 1 Yoimiya main, I maybe a bit biased but being single target locked is NOT a reason for T2 placement. Yes it's true that she's exclusively single target locked. But she's like the second or third best at that. That should atleast make her T1.5 or something.

@@aznjr I would not call c6 four-star free to play friendly. One c6 four star takes way more wishes than c0 five stars. It may even compare more to c1 or c2 five stars, and the five stars are way stronger. Four stars are a bonus on the five stars you want, not something to wish on.

@@aznjr Yes, but the amount of 5 stars you get until that journey means you have more five stars then c6 four stars and therefore c6 four stars take more time and wishes to get then c0 five stars and is not a good way to build the account around. When you have 8 c6 four stars to make an abyss team with, you could already have had two five-star teams. So the idea of only using four stars makes the testing less free to play friendly then the way Jello test things. There are also simply too many four stars for any reliability from the standard banner, especially since you can get weapons too. I have yet to even get a good four stars from it so far after 1.5 years of playing, and that's with the battle pass. Four stars are a bonus to the five stars, but only using four stars is not an accurate picture. With recent banners this is even more true, cause the four-star selection on banners have been pretty bad too, meaning you won't even get good four stars to c6.
Mihoyo did Ninguang dirty. She was clearly supposed to be a 5*, but nerfing her to 4* probably broke her kit.

They did. But at the same time, she's underestimated as well. I'd say she's stronger than a bunch of other four stars he rates above her, who also have no place in the META between them being weaker overall and having better alternatives, while also being a bad element. But at the same time, being geo and having her very lackluster normal attacks means that, while she's pretty effective (for a four star DPS) for those of us who actually build and use her, she's not worth building for anyone else. She's like Heizou, Chongyun, Freminet, Kaeya, and so on in that regard. None of those characters are really worth building, other than because you find them fun/interesting.
They dropped her to 5 star BECAUSE of a poll involving her vs the mobody electro unit thats so forgettable its a joke Keqing. All because "cat ears" keqing became 5 star..

They did her dirty early. She used to not feel so clunky on her normals. Way back in 1.something her charged attack didn't feel weird it flowed like Yanfeis charge from normals. When they did her "animation fix/upgrade" it made her charges super clunky.
There is one unique thing that Albedo's kit has that I feel will elevate him in the future: He is the only Geo Character capable of providing Elemental Mastery.
All the characters we have capable of providing EM are Anemo and Dendro, two elements that have zero synergy with Geo, so when a new Geo DPS or Support is released that scales in EM, Albedo will be the best in slot since he will provide a great EM Buff as well as activate Geo Resonance and even help with Off-Field Geo Application.
The only thing in Albedo's kit that elevates him is his flower if he's standing on it.
Honestly, I don't think we'll ever see a geo character that scales with EM. Mostly because of how shields work, that being another early thing (alongside vape, melt, and Benny) that Hoyoverse majorly screwed up the balance on. That 2.5x as effective against their own element is a total rookie designer move. And while people like to crap on crystalize, with EM, the shields get hefty against their own element. Heck, without EM, 5k of damage absorption. Add EM to that, and some shield strength... And that means enemies that have PECH shields or infuse themselves with PECH can pretty much see all their damage negated by crystalize from an EM build geo. The hydro legendary, for example... EM build Albedo will pretty much entirely neutralize its damage.
Which puts an EM geo in a weird spot. If they're balanced against other enemies, then they'll be OP against those PECH type ones. And if they're balanced against those PECH type enemies, they'll be weaksauce against the rest.
There is one thing that I think Hoyo is cooking for later plunge damage with his elevating construct. Now this was something they showcased as a "thing" when Albedo first came out. So I am still kind of coping that they do something around that

I made a dual DPS team with Sethos, Tighnari, Fischl and Baizhu that is surprisingly really strong, to me it felt like the best aggravate team I've played. You're just blasting enemies with charged shots, constantly swapping characters and triggering Fichl's passive a tonne which I find really fun.
Each character can dump their kit in a couple seconds so the rotation is super fast and simple:
Fischl skill/burst -> Tighnari skill, charged, burst, 2x charged -> Sethos 2x charged, skill, charged until you're out of energy -> Baizhu skill, burst
Tighnari has Ibis Piercer and Sethos has Cloudforged, both have Wandering Troupe sets. Fischl has Skyward and Golden Troupe. Baizhu hasThrilling Tales and Instructors.
I would highly recommend testing this team out if you haven't already 🙌
it would be stronger to give both Tighnari and Sethos the 3-star crit weapon that gives bonus damage if it hits the enemy within ~1 second or less. That weapon is actually cracked and recommended on KeqingMains (its a website) for every on field bow user as a FTP option.

Its pretty easy to discern who is the better pyro dps when one has the fastest clear speeds and the other cant even reach that threshold without constellations and a bunch of other 5*s.
Hu Tao picks Furina + Xianyun + Xingqui, Arle picks Bennet + Zhongli/Kazuha + Yelan. And you have two amazing vape tems, I don't see a clash between them honestly.

17:18 Heizou. Trust me yall, give this man a Prototype amber and rejoice with the most valuable support you can wish for. The shortest burst CD in the game and one of the lowest costs. The energy you regain from casting the burst with PA almost refunds it. Add a bit more ER and you can have him in your rotations just bursting, providing healing, ER, VV for the entire team as well as a bit of grouping while dishing out respectable damages well.
Heizou support, is so undervalued.

I do that team too! His animations are short and he has no circle impact, so he feels nice to play with Furina. I also tried Mika with Ayato and faster slashes are really fun too.

I think Tighnari should be a bit higher than that considering his main team (with Nahida/Yae/Zhongli) is still one of the best performing boss killer teams in the game and has regularly been amongst the most used teams according to the data whenever there's a triple boss floor 12 lineup.
His biases lean towards AOE characters.

What Yunjin needs is an off-field character that deals Normal ATK damage. She actually gives 120 stacks in total, but you can only use 30 stacks since only one character can be on-field at any given time outside of co-op.

Even if she buffs 2 characters ,she will be simply outpaced by a lot of supports . Motion value is useless if you don't have buffs to capitalise on it , and 2 or 3 characters getting buffed by yunjin doesn't give you much room for buffs .

Also fyi Yunjin's buff is already slightly stronger than Bennett. The only problem is that no one can use it. It's like if Xiangling can't snapshot Bennett's buff.

I understand your pain putting yoimiya so low. She was my first five star and is my favorite character. I tried and tried to make her work all throughout Fontaine. I c6ed my bennet got yelan and furina but could never 3 star the abyss. eventually I got father and poor yoimiya has never seen the light of day again. 😭😭

Solid list but layla deserve upper tier, her shield is really strong she is great with neuvi, arlecchino, wanderer.

I really like running my C4 Layla with wanderer and C6 faruzan + flex. Who would be better than Layla in this case?

@@tacotube8568 yea but unfortunately the crit rate is so inconsistent it kinda doesnt make sense to stay at 80 cr unless you reset or just dont have better artifacts. which is fair if youre not running MH with furina, but then its still inconsistent sadly. its a really big buff if you do get it though and you can technically reset a lot

Certified use of Heizou Plunge for fun. It’s super energy efficient and his big punches hit hard.
Something worth mentioning: Chevreuse gave Yoimiya new options, especially for dual targets and AoE.
With a medium-high level of f2p investment, Yoimiya/Fischl/Chevreuse/Beidou can clear chambers surprisingly fast and does just fine against bosses. The lack of reliance on Bennett's buffs and Beidou's interruption resistance made it my go-to team for small AoE chambers.

I think the biggest disagreements I have are Sara’s placement and DMC vs Collei (c6). Sara’s not even BiS in the teams you mentioned and if we compare her to 4 stars below her, she has a similar / lower amount of teams. DMC and Collei have similar Dendro application and in Hyperbloom, the frontload Collei has is so bad.

I'm F2P and I recommend trying Yoimiya in a Yoimiya Furina Xingqiu/Yelan Baizhu team. By having Yoimiya on Marechausse and EM Sands, Baizhu on Instructor, and consistently using Yoimiya's burst, you can trigger Burgeon and strong Vapes to help her AoE and damage which feels a lot better, I don't have Yelan but I think it would be better than Xingqiu since Baizhu already provides the shielding for her.
I used this team on both the second and first side of this abyss and was able to 36 star too and my Yoimiya isn't even level 90 so the Burgeons would be significantly less dmg.

I expected Eula to be low, but now below Heizou low. I'm also a bit surprised by Yanfei. I'm guessing that she's *really* good with plunge. I just don't rate her very high because there are so many on-field Pyro characters.
I also don't know how I would rate characters that are low damage, but don't really have a lot of competition. Just there aren't a lot of off-field Dendro and Geo applicators.
But yeah, really high quality tier list.

She grabs bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with homa."
I can't pull for homa, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world.
I dont think we're playing furina impact, nor does everyone want, have or use her, so making her as the metric of how good or useful a character is pretty stupid and not "unbiased".
Saying that there are people who don't want to use her is personal preference. Not everyone wants to play bennet, nahida, kazuha, etc... by this definition, we should not take these powerful supports into consideration when discussing meta.

1.The reality is most of the characters in this tier list part 1 where he mentioned furina have had sizable improvements which involve her. He doesn't use her specifically as a metric to judge a character's strength 🤷♂️
2. Evey single character in this game can work with furina albeit to varying degrees. So calling her a sidegrade in every team she's in is also wrong.
3. Nahida and kazuha are locked to dendro and PECH respectively. Furina doesn't have this restriction.
4. Jello said himself that he has tried to remove all of his biases for this tier list, and even if he did have them, it would be for raiden or clorinde. He doesn't particularly like furina that much, he just genuinely thinks her kit is very good.

Giving a huge elemental DMG buff to ALL units is non existent except for furina, which makes her very good for almost all characters and she is also hydro, which is the best element in the game that synergizes with basically every element. I don’t think she’s ever a “sidegrade”. At worst she’s an alternative to some variation of a team that is very functional.

This was EXTREMELY Furina biased. Jello literally put versatily and team flexibility as a criteria but all I see is if they work with Furina, Neuvillete and Arlecchino, they're pretty good. Wth logic was that? Absolutely not everyone has them. Some may even not like them.
How is Candace so high when she only has one team with Arlecchino and even then she sucks. Xingqiu is free. Why would anyone EVER use her. Dehya is outclassed by every Pyro unit. Yet she's good because she can plunge? If you wanna use plunge, you'd still use any other character ever.
Saying that team contribution, flexibility and power level matters and then literally putting characters high because they work with the best units in game is such a BIASED MOVE.

razor being a tier under xinyan and freminet seems like a pretty blatant oversight. he literally just does more damage than them while also having more team possibilities (chevreuse, xianyun, aggravate, hyperbloom, burgeon, rainbow, physical, double geo, hypercarry)
also you put xinyan in T3 only because of xianyun teams when razor is literally better in xianyun teams (he has the second heightest plunge scaling in the game ffs) not to mention his c4 lowers defense and he also has physical scaling on ascension. xinyan brings nothing to the table that razor doesn't besides a bad shield so why you put her a full tier above him is beyond me

@@unstable7505 I mean, Freminet at C3+ has the highest scaling out of any claymore character for plunge other than Diluc or Gaming. He also has 20 more base attack points, attack ascension and can be played on both vape and melt plunge teams. Plunge melt does have a niche BTW, melt just does more damage than vape, which means if you can't fit Furina for some reason the melt team is better. Rosaria is more than capable of applying enough cryo to melt reliably on plunge.
I'm not sure I agree with Xinyan above Razor. If was for 5.0 I think I would, but right now she struggles and doesn't really have a team that makes a lot of sense. I don't think she's better on plunge but it's not like I'd want either one of her or Razor, if I'm picking a 4 star and for some reason ignoring Gaming I'd pick Freminet every time.
I think Eula and Albedo are both better than Dehya.

Damn I disagree with the placement of Keqing and Noelle, imo Keqing should be higher. On Noelle's team you can only play her basically on 2 teams and both teams required Furina to be competitive. While Keqing can be played in aggravate and hyperbloom which I believe has higher damage ceiling than Noelle's team
Electro traveler has one niche for me. As someone that builds almost exclusively male characters he’s the only off field electro option making him a very important member of my Alhaitham aggravate teams. Building him with full ER and EM makes him pretty useful! Add a sac sword on top of that and rotations with him are pretty smooth.
37:14 - Because Beidou's burst can be procced by charged attack damage, Neuvillette drives her damage like nothing else, even when there's more than two targets.
I'm a main DPS Ningguang player and found that her best carry team in abyss (currently) is with Furina, Zhongli, and Bennett/Sigewinne. However, I favor Sigewinne more due to movement flexibility (no circle lock) and teamwide healing which buffs the whole team simultaneously through Furina's stacks. She also gives Elegy and Song of Days Past buffs and does not require ER to activate like Bennett so I don't have to worry about that for smooth rotations. This team can be very good on the second floor of 4.8 abyss. I know she (and somewhat Zhongli) in this team can dish out a lot of damage because when the ruin drakes on floor 12-1-1 gain extra elemental resistance (in some of my more sloppy runs), it's always Geo that lights up and not Hydro, so Furina is not the one contributing the most damage here.
Also, with the addition of Furina now, Shenhe can actually be pretty good with Ganyu freeze + Jean on VV (except on super aggro enemies ofc). But I agree that for a 5*, her cryo buffing kit could have been better.

Eula in T3 was saddening especially if you know her lore. She is disregarded and looked down upon by everyone and has no friends except Amber so she’s almost always alone. I really hope that superconduct support comes out sooner than later so my girl can finally be appreciated.

I personally use mona as a "healer" using prototype amber on some furina teams, my best one being Yelan/Furina/Hu tao. Her healing with prototype amber allows me to be sub 50% hp% for hu tao and homa's passive to trigger and if you have some cons on mona, you raise crit rate and vaporize damage. That team is probably my strongest and my hu tao can hit around 180-200k per charge attack with the whole set up and mona using PA is one of the few "healers" that can also buff your team and because my furina has some cons, mona's healing is enough to max fanfares. She is very underrated.

I had so much trouble trying to make Yoimiya's numbers good with vape, melt, hypercarry buffs like Benny, Furina, and Mona and what made her numbers good was this team: Chevruse, Raiden, Bennett, and Yoi. Chev's buff is amazing.
I tried this same team with C2 Dehya and Diluc and it works best with Yoimiya because 1. overload throws enemies away from you and she can keep hitting them when they do. 2. circle impact is actually pretty easy with her. You just stand in Bennett's circle and let her target whoever is closest. Light enemies get knocked back from the circle so you don't get mobbed. I'm not an amazing player but I've been able to take out the Icewind Suite for instance VERY quickly with this lineup

@@pakattac i mean i guess, but it just feels so cope to me and using up way too many useful 5* characters on Dori. i mean i fully don't know the numbers, but wouldn't an Anemo healer with a Pyro on-fielder do significantly more damage? Kazuha's extra damage buff is nice but not exactly necessary cuz of Furina, and then grouping doesn't really matter if it's a single target team. and because it's single target, Electro-Charged isn't really doing much as a reaction.
i know in Jello's Dori guide he did Dori Furina Fischl Kazuha, which IS better to me... but also he admitted that it's probably equal to running Kokomi in Dori's slot, and considering that Kokomi gets interruption resistance and has range, I can't imagine the Dori version feels better to play.
i dunno, i think Dori turned out to be significantly better than people expected after Furina released, but now it feels a little overcorrected. i'd personally place her around Candace, as they're similarly C6-locked and require very specific teams to work, but at least Candace can be a niche upgrade and has actual synergy with Arle, whereas Dori to me feels like an absolute sidegrade at best that you only run if you were unlucky enough to get a C6 of her before a single copy of Shinobu.

This is because this team is essentially Dori driving to maximize furina and yelan’s personal dmg. That’s why Fischl instead doesn’t work because furina and yelan with hydro resonance does more dmg. Ofc it’s harder to play because there’s no interruption resistance, but ur free to dodge whenever in the combo. The reason nobody actually knows this team is because most people assume Dori to be an aggravate on fielder, despite this double hydro team being way significantly better. People assume because Dori has very low personal dmg that the team overall is bad, which isn’t true as seen by koko mono hydro.

I do actually disagree with Yoimiya, she as a solo carry is underwhelming, but her double pyro double geo with Chiori is a really solid team, Beidou + Chevreuse is a good workaround in aoe. Her full F2P team with Xingqiu, Bennett and Fischl does clear in similar timing as my Hu Tao team and is easier to play too.
If Hoyo was not so damn stupid with physical attack, they would have made Eula burst to be cryo infused. That would make so much change on the tier list. She could be the Reverse Melt Queen :( And Dehya would be so great as well :(
Coming up with physical attack and then buff nearly all enemies to have high physical resistance is just a dumb thing... So sad for her :(

I love this tier list. He was explaining his placement decisions, and even if not all of them were 100% objective, he made great points. Also I love to see T2 being this crowded seems like a goor middle ground for the good units aren't particularly meta or the most popular options (for example I am a huge fan of Mika in my Wanderer team with Furina even tho he doesn't provide anything other than Atk Speed and healing)

Nice bottom half of the tier list, I agree with most of this (especially the sadness you felt about Yoimiya and Shenhe). I do feel Tighnari belongs higher up in the list. His perfect synergy with Yae Miko and his really strong front loading of damage makes him great in some situations. There are 3 bosses that I always want to bring mine to: Wenut, Abyss worm and ASIMON. The fact that he can unload his entire combo before they go underground/invisble gives him quite an edge there. I do think Alhaitham is the better on field dendro carry but the difference between them isn't that huge. Alhaitham does have much better quickbloom possibilities tho.
I adore playing as Ningguang. She’s so much fun, and it kills me that she’s so bad. The Jade Shield is iconic, her homing gem attacks are iconic, and her burst is iconic ESPECIALLY when you have her C6, which gives her a ton of gems for a follow up charged attack. Shes such an iconic character, and is one of the few characters that I think really should get a rerelease. I would pull for 5* Ningguang in a heartbeat.
for Shenhe I play Ayaka, Shenhe, Furina, Xianyun, I dont have Kokomi and the team works very good when freeze is an option, I slot like just 2 plunges in the rotation so it doesnt mess much neither
Lyla (with fav) - Rosaria (with Fav) - Arlecchino (with dragons bane) - bennet (with instructors and key) = My most powerful melt team on my acc. (i replace bennet with xiangling sometimes aswell)

Great list overall and my only nitpick would be putting Yun Jin and Eula a tier higher. For NA characters Yun Jin gives similar dmg amplification as Candace at C0 and at C6 Yun Jin takes the lead in my oponion because the 12% Atk speed buff smooths out attack strings for characters with short infusion windows like Clorinde. As for Eula I don't think her biggest problem is personal dmg but rather elemental shields. In that vein she is practically a physical version of Itto with more team flexibility (Hyper carry, Eula&Raiden, Hyperbloom) and thus should belong in the same tier as him
9:40 - You're utterly wrong there. The stacks Yun Jin provides are great in AOE. Ayato can only hit like 7-8 times during a skill stance (9-10 if Yun Jin is c6). In AOE, with Yun Jin's stacks, that a huge amount of front-loaded damage, potentially clearing a wave in a single rotation. The more stacks of Yun Jin's ammo you can burn before they expire, the MORE value she provides, not less.
Ain't no way Shenhe is played in one team brother.
Ningguang is so underrated, with C6 talent 9/12/12 her EQC combo does 3434% damage on 12s CD and this doesn't require much field time.

Melt is still a good reaction. I 36 starred this abyss with Wrio melt. But I agree that shenhe is not very useful with him. My best clear with him was 69 seconds but that didn’t include shenhe.

To be fair, Shenhe good with all other cryo as well. Like monocryo teams really like her for the teamwide buffs, but her placment is absoltuly earned. She just not a *very* good unit.
And I appreciate the Yanfei placement, she is really overlooked as an on-fielder. I really love her Furina teams as well.
As a Chiori C1 haver, it's really interseting hearing your take on Yunjin. I've been finding Chiori C1/Yunjin to be a surprisingly good combo, for Clorinde, Yoimiya etc. It's actually one of my stronger Clorinde teams. But the Chiori C1 aspect really boosts it a lot.
Plunge dehya is pure copium
You literally can put any claymore character and plunge such character will deal the same amount of damage if you're only looking at normal attack scalings and that's it. (Neither of dehya's passives or cons contribute to her NA scalings for plunge)
Xinyan is even better at plunge then dehya. If you don't have c6 bennet in a furina xianyun bennet core xinyan gains a 12% physical dmg bonus when protected by her shield, and also her cons make her NA physical hits have 100% crit rate, meaning you can stack crit damage all the way and do significantly more damage.
The only factor that has Jello move dehya to t2 then below xinyan's t3 spot is because burgeon
BUT THAT STILL DOES NOT JUSTIFY ANYTHING FROM DEHYA BEING BETTER THAN XINYAN
Not that her elemental skill works really good for burgeon(because it actually is poopoo at its job for burgeon when you are for example trying to burgeon a big enemy like a ruin grader for example and also its pyro app is only every 2.5 seconds on a COORDINATED ATTACK)
It's just because dendro reactions are powerful
actually, xinyan can do pyro app quiet fine, from her burst and elemental skill really well and significantly faster
this just makes xinyan better at burgeon then dehya
Which leaves that the only reason dehya possibly could be at t2 and xinyan sit at t3 is just because dehya does less pyro app so she can vape her plunges easier in the furina bennet c6 xianyun core plunge teams
IMO Dehya should be placed below xinyan regardless. Dehya is just a worse character than xinyan.
FYI Xinyan C2 100% CR only applies to the initial physical hit from her burst. If it applied to NAs we'd all have a more positive opinion on her.

But, if you putting both freminet and xinyan in T3 purely for their weapon type and how well they are paired with Xianyun, i think putting geo traveler which yes, as you said is a side grade compared to chiori, is still a unit that can be used in at least 3 different teams, which are navia, noelle, and itto, compared to freminet and xinyan which need certain units and is still a sidegrade even compared to their 4* counterpart, gaming. other than that, i do wish natlan buffs physical carries for sure!
I would correct Jello a bit here:
Collei and DMC. 39:39 DMC is not just in nilou or (healerless) aggravate teams. DMC is still really good in hyperbloom teams especially if you don't have nahida. 40:15 Saying C6 collei is the only functional hyperbloom enabler outside of nahida is just not true, i urge jello to see the f2p clears of iwin2lose, sevy or other CC's and see that most of the time DMC is there if they are using a hyperbloom team. Though at the grand scheme of things this doesn't really matter as DMC would still be at the same tier as collei, but there are just some statements here that are "false" that i wanted to correct a bit.
Other comments:
1) Razor vs Freminet, both kits are saying "physical DPS", but Razor being electro and his kit having innate ER makes him equal or better than Freminet. I wouldn't use freminet in a 4-star only run just cause his damage is not high enough while razor's burgeons and/or hyperblooms deals so much more especially in f2p investment levels.
2) Geo MC, there are actually instances where i prefer using geo mc than zhongli mainly where enemies spawn in different parts of the map or are cringe and just destroys zhongli's pillar. I noticed that zhongli's pillar is basically the backbone in a navia team whether or not you will get ER issues while geo mc's skill though kinda quickswappy to use, it fits well in a navia team and you basically will never have any ER issues as long as you remember to quickswap to GMC.
3) Itto, would not really rank him any higher, but plunge itto is actually real. After testing, i actually much prefer this team (Furina, Xianyun, Itto, Geo Battery), while in his burst state his plunges are actually increased in size, while also you not having to worry about his combos, you just unga bunga plunge 8 times, and the remaining time you can use to CA.

I feel like the shenhe vs just getting c1 furina problem is something sigewinne has a much bigger issue with. The shenhe vs c1 furina comparison is only really valid when both of the following holds true:
1. You already have C0 furina so the C0 is considered "free"
2. You currently are not using furina for a different team.
Because shenhe is tied to ayaka and not tied to furina, its not necessarily valid to compare it with c1 furina. With sigewinne on the other hand its a lot more valid as she herself is tied to furina. So pulling sigewinne is an upgrade for mono hydro with furina but then you might as well just pull furina c1, and there is not really a way to get around that as sigewinne without furina just isnt good.

To play kaveh in a nilou team, you have to put prototype amber R5 on nahida for teamwide healing and some bloom dodging from them in order to play xingqiu.
Kaveh build has to be triple EM at least 180 ER some hp% instructor for 120 EM team buff and using forest regalia R5 for 120 EM single target buff given to xingqiu either at his start or during dash animation cancelling of xingqiu E. His burst also buffs team bloom dmg by a fixed percentage that is roughly equivalent between 80 and 120 EM.
Kaveh does no personal dmg so just him to tank, dodge, destroy some shields like geo with his claymore and drive xingqiu rainswords by attacking every second.
Starting rotation example (ignoring normal attacks): nilou E > Kaveh E > nahida Q E > xingqiu Q E E > Kaveh E Q

his playstyle is unstable due to ushi randomly generating stacks. he technically never has an optimal combo in practice.
I wish that there was some way to make support Petra Albedo work. I think that was Hoyo’s intention for him when he released considering how his burst is so good at triggering a lot of Crystalize and gives an EM buff, but all parts of his kit, buffing, damage, the stupid split scalings, were all so undertuned. I wish they could give him some kind of unique use case now that he’s been power-crept in terms of damage by Chiori.
Hoyo thought they were cooking by using EM for crystalize and the petra set but they needed to put it back in the oven.

No I just think that they didn't think of specialization so each character did a little bit of everything. Split scaling is super dumb though, you have weak scaling for both or if they made it good then you'd have a busted damage for one part of the kit...
Rainbow razor was never that good of a team. The team simply had some fun synergizes within the team that made it fun it play.

razor has higher plunge multipliers than xinyan (the whole reason you put her at t3) why is he lower?? + hes electro which helps with super conduct (also kaveh has the same multipliers as xinyan too)
Lynette I'd say deserves a little higher. She's just the most flexible 4 star anemo after Sucrose for your swirling for VV needs. Sayu is clunky, and Heizou doesn't have utility. As you've said, the taunt is nice.

As a Day 1 Yoimiya main, I maybe a bit biased but being single target locked is NOT a reason for T2 placement.

Yeah, my Yoimiya national team has 147k dps, only below Ayaka Furinational, Neuvillette plunge, Arlecchino national and Hu Tao vv vape.. (top 5 teams according to my calcs)..
