Cleanse hair with lukewarm water, Wear a satin or silk scarf while sleeping, Rinse hair with diluted acv for shine, Apply liitllleextra cocoonnoin hair oil shampoo duo. This helped for my mom, and she controlled her hair fall with this routine.
I began using the Littlllextra Cocoonion hair oil and shampoo since May, and following three months, I am noticing a noticeable difference in my hair growth. Previously, I was suffering from scanty hair, but I now find my hair has become thicker and denser. I will definitely keep using this oil.
My Mom used Knox gelatin in the 1960s to make her fingernail strong. She was a secretary. She had to use a typewriter all day and her nails kept breaking. It really worked. Her nails didn't break at all once she started drinking that.
My grandmother used to make us eat the gristle of the chicken bones and chew up the bones to get to the bone marrow. My friends would laugh and think it was weird that we ate the bone joints but now that I’m nearly 50 and have a full head of hair while everyone seems to be balding around me, I thank my grandmother for making me healthy before I knew what healthy was.
The way this guy delivers information is absolutely outstanding. After being on youtube since its beginning, and out of all of the youtube channels of any genre that I've seen, I declare this channel to be in the top 5 channels of all time.
I have used rosemary to regrow my hair and it truly works I read something years ago tell us that any* oil on your hair will Not allow hair to grow because you are blocking the cells that need to breath for growth of hair So now I am using a shampoo and on any place like eye lashes too very carefully and rinse off All of the claims for anything else with oils won't work the Dr's are saying
Thanks for your suggestions. My mother has been dealing with hair fall for a while, and this lityleextra reaictivate hair serum really helped her. Her hair feels thicker, and she is pleased with the results so far.
I remember guys who played guitar professionally always ate jelly (as we call it in the UK) cubes to keep their nails strong and flexible. So I started doing the same - it works.
I take 16g or 4 teaspoons of Gelatine a day (divided by morning and night). Gelatine powder is best taken in a hot drink. I’ll either have it with: A) Apple cider vinegar and lemon B) Ginger root with milk (and a dash of honey) Both are great for further enzymatic hydrolysis of the Gelatine to make absorption easier in the gut.
During my 80 day hair growth journey, I did yoga and exercises, massaged my scalp with oil 3 times a week, shampooed once a week, and applied llitlleextra Reactivate serum. Consequently, my hair growth increased without any hair fall.
The greatest care you can do for your hair is to apply cocoonion shampoo and oil and reactivate hair serum. I've been using this hair care routine for the past 25 days now, and my hair is getting denser every day.

Excerpts: My #1 tip for hair growth and thicker hair is to consume gelatin. You could use either gelatin, unflavored and unsweetened Jell-O, or hydrolyzed collagen. How gelatin can potentially help increase hair growth: • It’s 99% protein • It has amino acids and peptides • It increases blood flow and blood volume In a few interesting studies, they saw a 50% increase in hair growth, a substantial increase in the diameter of the hair, and an increase in the number of hairs. Gelatin may help provide the raw material needed and boost blood flow to add some additional help when it comes to hair growth-even if there is an autoimmune component or genetic weakness. You may want to try 10 to 14 grams (1 Tbsp) of gelatin powder per day with L-cysteine or NAC and saw palmetto. Thank you Dr Berg!! 🐱👍🏿
I recently followed your advice from a prostate issue video you made, and i used saw palmetto and stinging nettle root.. and the side effect was my bald head started regrowing hair. Im now 2 months into the suppliments, and only about 5 - 10% of my hair has come back, but its still adding with time, and when i think ive been totally bald for around 20 years, to just start coming back after all those years, is amazing
I remember years ago when I was in my preteens and I finally stopped biting my nails 💅 but they were brittle and broke off quickly. My mother started giving me Knox gelatin and Jello with orange 🍊 juice 🥤. After awhile my finger nails 💅 grew strong and beautiful. Dr. Berg, thank you.
Tocotrienols were a huge answer to prayer. I tried saw palmetto and it didn't do anything. I had a toxic liver from taking meds and this antioxidant helped me go from losing massive amounts of hair when I wash it to just about 3-5 hairs. It's now been 2 months of taking them and I have a ton of about an inch of new growth. Hope this helps someone else!
Whenever I want to know how things work, I look up Dr. Berg. Kind of like that show "How things are made" He just has a way of explaining things that helps me understand. Thanks Dr. Berg!
Dr Berg, I have been using gelatin in my smoothies with aloe vera gel. Also been taking better care of my liver, eating more lemons, olive oil, greens, berries.
3 weeks ago I started taking saw palmetto and the NAC supplement. The results that I have noticed thus far is that my hair is not shedding between my fingers as I comb my fingers through my hair.
Slow Cook Grass fed beef bones for 12-14 hours, let it sit for 4-5 hours , remove the fat from the top (keep it in the fridge- it’s really good for cooking) , store the broth in the fridge. That’s gelatine for you. It will look like fat, it’s not. Heat it up in the microwave, drink it every day. That’s the best medicine for you. Thanks Dr berg. Your way of explaining things are very crisp and clear. 👍
I was looking for this kind of comment. I totally agree with you. What I use for gelatin and more is Beef Oxtail usually. My mom cooks beef knee usually which is a great source of gelatin. But unfortunately it is impossible to find in US…
I just retired from forty years as a Cosmetologist, Color Specialist, and traveling hair tech. I was just telling my daughter this yesterday 😉. The doctor is 💯 percent correct y'all.
I am a bit confused by this video. He said not to use sweetened with sugar in it Jell-O, but what about sugar free Jell-O. I eat about 4-5packs of sugar free Jell-O per week. Is that also good for thicker hair?
@@vivianmatti2110 You eat it. Add hot and then cold water, then refrigerate until set. Directions on package. Jell-O is a name brand, you can also look for gelatin dessert. You can put fruit in it too
The past 2 months I’ve noticed I have to shave more often. I’m saying my beard and moustache is growing in faster. Now Dr Berg has confirmed it. I started eating jello 2 months ago because it is good for my wife’s knee pain. Since she’s eating it I am too !

I m applying littleexttra rosemary reactivate hair growth serum from a couple of weeks. Here is my feedback: 1- Good mix of ingredients 2- Noticeable results in just 2 weeks that I got from it 3- Attractive bottle with lock and quality packaging 4- Non-sticky and simple to use
Both my friend and I also use the same reactivate hair growth serum... so far it is showing good results for hair growth.. we've only been using it for 1 month.. I'm confident that next month the hair growth will be even better.
I'm happy. Not only did the reactivate serum restore my hair strength, but it also stimulated fresh growth where I had been experiencing hair thinning.
doing a scalp massage with the silicone scalp massager from littleeextra is beneficial for my scalp. i first apply their hair oil and then wash it off with the shampoo and conditioner from littlelextraa. at night, i apply only the reactivatee hair serum and in the morning wash it off with plain water. i have never faced hair fall since i started this routine. in fact, my head feels fuller with hair, and the bald areas are getting covered with new hairs.
You break down medical information into layman’s terms very nicely. You are the interpreter for Dr. Jack Kruse, which I have to lookup medical information to translate him. Thank for breaking down human biology into simple words. Very helpful.
You can also buy unflavored gelatin packets in the Jello aisle and add this to your cooking. It goes well with meat dishes and things like soups and stews but you have to stir it in thoroughly because it has a tendency to clump together and fall to the bottom of the pot/pan where it will burn.
Hi Jeff- that is a great idea to add gelatin while you are cooking. I never thought of that- just in desserts or drinks. However regarding the clumping…if you use (unflavored Knox type) gelatin in stews or while you are cooking - dissolve the powder in a few tablespoons cold/ lukewarm water first for a few minutes. Then add the dissolved solution into the hot pot. It will blend in and not clump I think. If you put the gelatin directly into high heat, it “cooks” into clumps. I think this is true. I will try it myself when I try adding gelatin into stew or soup next time!
Nice suggestions i saw here so used it.. My sis has been using littleexttra reactivate hair growth serum for a month, and the change is so nice. Her previously thinning areas are now filling in beautifully and are full of new hair, and she’s feeling much more confident now.
Whip with a mixer 1 jar of sugar free applesauce sauce with 2 packages of flavorless nox gelatin until it comes like a whiped cream. Place plastic wrap in a container. Pour the mixture into it. Place it in the fridge overnight. Eat it.
I really want to say thank you Dr. Berg because you had changed my perspective on food and minerals, I had follow every single thing you said about keto and diet for a month and I can see my body is getting way better than before. Also the active ingredient in rogaine is a vasodilator. Long story short massaging your scalp works as a vasodilator for your scalp too. You do have to have some consistency about it. Two to three times a day for at least 5 min each time.
I started doing vigorous scalp massages a little over a month ago, it seems to be working. I also use peppermint oil. I may try adding the gelatin to my regimen...btw, I'm 37, I'll be 38 in exactly 9 days from today and I've been wearing a ball cap for about 10 yrs due to embarrassment of near balding. @@DeepSouthBayouDiesel it can take time. Usually you'll see results in 3-6 months but do it as much as possible twice a day for best results. Good luck. Rosemary oil is good too.
Yes! Another great benefit of scalp massage is it brings blood flow to the surface of the skin and with it along comes collagen. Have you seen the tools that are used for fascia care? The tool used for our faces is also used with a thin scarf over the scalp to massage it. It feels wonderful and it works. 3-6 months is common for results 😊
@@yardner1963 yes , vasodilation is what brings the blood to the surface. You can use any kind of massage you don't necessarily need fascia massagers or anything you can use your hands even but yes. My dermatologist said scalp massage is the same and better than a pill.
My grandmother taught me about this in the 1960s. An old fashioned addition to the diet -and it worked. Think bone broth, bone marrow, hearty stews and yes, homemade jello. What’s old is new again, lol.
What I do is take a few oz of water and microwave it in a glass for about 30 seconds. Then add my vital proteins mix in until melted. Then add a tablespoon of dry jello right out of the little brown bag it comes in from the little jello box. It will melt too. Then wait a few minutes because it’s very hot and drink it. Also you could use the sugar free jello if you prefer.
I take collagen power regularly with nutritional yeast, so that it would taste better, for the hair loss I was experiencing this spring, plus I also started to eat more iron (meats, organ meats etc.).. And now my hair is growing and not falling off either and skin looks better than ever! But I might boost up a bit and take some extra collagen after seeing this tip! Thank you Dr Berg for all the help and God bless! 🙏💝
I was vegan for almost 5 years. Among the many issues I developed, my hair became horrible. It’s was thinning, brittle, I was losing it all the time. I was so bad, I actually just shaved it off. After my health took a drastic turn, I started eating animal products again. Tons of butter and eggs, then meat. Then I added collagen and gelatin . My hair, skin and nail are amazing! And all my other issues are gone.
Collagen, beef , cream , egg yolks, turkey , chicken and shrimp is how I’ve recovered from raw veganism . I may lose zero to two hair strands per day. When I test the strength of the strands it’s real tough and won’t break.
@@00Mali00 you know I struggled for a long time with the feeling of failure on a vegan lifestyle… I was so disappointed in myself for a long time. But after a lot of reflection I know I made the right decision for my health. I wasn’t a junk food vegan. I ate a whole food plant based diet 90% of the 5 years I was vegan. I took all the supplements, ate the super foods, took the powders and yet I still suffered in the end, both physically and more importantly mentally. You don’t know what someone has went through and how difficult the decisions they made were… veganism was my life. I was so sure I would be a vegan for the rest of my life. To stop was not an easy decision. So to assume that I just ate the wrong way is completely wrong. I don’t blame you though, because I use to think the same way when some influencer stopped being vegan, they just ate wrong. But after going through it myself and knowing I did the best I could’ve, I no longer think in dogmatic ways. Health and diet are not black and white. What works for some doesn’t for others.
Gelatin never did anything for me but collagen supplements are amazing. I just turned 77 and for 76.5 years, I had terrible fingernails. Now they're beautiful. My hair was always good but it looks like the head of a 40 year old. A weird thing is happening and I want to be delicate but I lost just about all my body hair around 30 years ago. I mean ALL. That is now growing back. Collagen is not an instant fix, it takes months but it seems to stimulate collagen production and I take it only about 2-3 times a week now because it's expensive. I have almost no wrinkles and my skin is soft and smooth as a bonus. Even my neck doesn't look my age.
I like your comment and would like to know exactly what it is that what collagen supplement are you taking and where do you get it and are you talking about the jealous and also because I am 61 and I have premature aging hair is so so but I would like to regain some of my youthful appearance back
I’ve used collagen powder for a year with no results whatsoever. I’ve never hear of using gelatin so I’m seriously hoping for results like all the other comments

My thyroid is healthy. I’ve always had fine hair as opposed to thick hair like my sister. It’s always been long and healthy but the gelatin made it thicker. To avoid all the extra sugars, artificial sweeteners and chemicals, just make jello with plain water and add those water flavour drops to it (Mio, Crystal light, or flavoured electrolytes powder, etc). Basic jello recipe is 1T (Tablespoon) of gelatine powder to 2 cups of liquid. You can also add more gelatine (anywhere from 1 1/2T - 2T) to make it firmer like gummies.

I’m 65 and 1 year in on taking collegian peptides. My hair has gone crazy with growth. My nails feel 2x thicker. Of all the supplements I take, collegan peptides is the most dramatic.
I noticed when i first started keto my hair started getting thicker within a month or so. I attributed it to increased consumption of eggs and avocadoes which I've heard can thicken hair particularly together.
I got TE a couple months after having covid. My hair was literally falling out in chunks. Lost about 50% of hair. *Dr. Berg* or staff please read!! Back in 2019 my husband came home with a big bag of .25¢ jello boxes. We ate some every day. My hair and nails were beautiful. But the biggest difference was my husband's knees stopped cracking and popping!! They have always made very loud noises since he was early 30's. Thru the years just got louder and more pops. After jello for dessert every day all summer long. We both noticed he could get down on the floor and back up and not one sound!! As we ran out of the boxes, we ate it less. My grandmother used to take Knox gelatin everyday...she had the hardest nails I ever seen.
Excerpts:
My #1 tip for hair growth and thicker hair is to consume gelatin. You could use either gelatin, unflavored and unsweetened Jell-O, or hydrolyzed collagen.
How gelatin can potentially help increase hair growth:
• It’s 99% protein
• It has amino acids and peptides
• It increases blood flow and blood volume
In a few interesting studies, they saw a 50% increase in hair growth, a substantial increase in the diameter of the hair, and an increase in the number of hairs.

After my health took a drastic turn, I started eating animal products again. Tons of butter and eggs, then meat. Then I added collagen and gelatin . My hair, skin and nail are amazing! And all my other issues are gone.

@@00Mali00 you know I struggled for a long time with the feeling of failure on a vegan lifestyle… I was so disappointed in myself for a long time. I’ve been taking gelatin capsules since my early 20’s to help with my nail growth, but my fine hair did flourish! I’ve been taking it off and on for years but now that I’m in my 40’s and I’m noticing thinning, I will be intentional about taking it again.
Could be your thyroid.
@@carolcole570 What would the thyroid do in his case? I didn't understand.
@@areez22 thyroud desease causes hair loss and thinning
My thyroid is healthy. I’ve always had fine hair as opposed to thick hair like my sister. It’s always been long and healthy but the gelatin made it thicker. My mother does suffer female pattern baldness that started when she was my age, and now that I’m noticing a bit of thinning in the crown, I’m going back to what worked for me in the past and gelatin was a big factor for healthy, growing hair.
@@deontaer now much time does it take to see results
When I make my “jello” with the Knox Gelatin I just use water and add my electrolyte powder to it. So good!
Thank you for sharing!
My hair became really bad after having three babies in 5 years, but while I was pregnant it was amazing. My youngest is 3 and six month ago I started taking prenatal vitamins again since my hair was great while I was pregnant and it’s growing again, not breaking and feeling more hydrated again!
I know many prenatal vitamins contain gelatin
Take: 1. DIM (for hormonal regulation) 2. Minerals (for depleted minerals from having baby)
It's estrogen. Pregnancy increase estrogen, estrogen increase hair growth + thickness
Isn’t there biotin in the prenatal Vit/supplements? From what I understand that also helps with nails and hair growth and strength.
Please tell me the name of the brand that you r using for pre natal vitamins. Lost lot of hair pist pregnancy. Having hard time to recover from it
It's crazy that I have long hair but it's not super thick but I have extremely brittle nails. My aunt who passed from Covid last year use to tell me to eat Jello because her nails were long, thick and healthy. I just thought of it seeing this video, man she was right, may she rest in peace... thank you for confirmation.
But jello itself is terrible for you. How did you leave the video with that information lol? Hydrolyzed collagen is a key point here, not jello.

Sorry for your loss, my condolences
I saw a huge difference in my nails when I took biotin supplants as well. The natures bounty pink tab that is sublingual. Tastes good too

After surgery last year, I lost a lot of hair. Most people would look at my hair and say I have a ton of hair right now, but for me it's thin. I started mixing Knox in my coffee in the morning this week. I'll check back in 6 months and let you know how my hair is doing.

I have lost my hair a number of times through chemo and also when I had an operation. It took around six months of treatment before it started to flourish. If you also want to grow thicker and longer hair fast, sprinkle one teaspoon of rosemary dried or fresh on any dish per day.

My older buddy ( mid 50s ) told me last month to eat jello more to grow thicker hair. I'm not going to lie, I thought he was just making up some old nonsense.. i guess he was right, I had to message him and tell him after watching.
Great content Doc.
I hope this is clear. I get the little jello boxes in different favors and take it everyday. It makes a HUGE difference in my hair and eyelashes.
Also you could use sugar free jello if you prefer
❤ Thank you very specific instructions xoxo
❤️
Can you please share the link of jello you get?
To avoid all the extra sugars, artificial sweeteners and chemicals, just make jello with plain water and add those water flavour drops to it (Mio, Crystal light, or flavoured electrolytes powder, etc).
Basic jello recipe is 1T (Tablespoon) of gelatine powder to 2 cups of liquid.
You can also add more gelatine (anywhere from 1 1/2T - 2T) to make it firmer like gummies.

@@Sain8musicthat’s amazing! I struggling to shed 20-30 pounds. Any suggestions? And how are you doing now?
I have 4C hair and I’ve started using gelatin as my protein treatment and I’ve seen drastic changes. Very effective and inexpensive, cheers to gelatin.
Has it decreased breakage?
How do you use it as a treatment?
How do you use it? And what kind do you use can you please provide the name or maybe send the image of the box.
Thank you in advance
It has decreased breakage yes, I’ve seen a huge difference.
1 cup of hot water
1 tblsp of unflavored gelatin (Any kind just make sure it’s unflavored)
1 tblsp ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar)
1 tblsp Olive oil
Apply the mixture on clean hair, let it air dry or stay in dryer for it to harden. For starters don’t let it crisp harden it’s going to break your hair (gelatin is 99% protein be careful) when you go wash your hair, follow with a moisturizing conditioner.
That’s it.
I use it too as my protein treatment! It’s inexpensive & my hair feels so much better after!
Yes because of the biotin.
My hair stopped falling out when I ate 4 to 5 eggs a day while on keto as Dr. Berg suggested.

Good morning! Thank you are the best! Followed your tip a year ago: gelatin, L-cysteine and saw palmetto +/- 5 times a week in my smoothie after my workout and the result is amazing. I am 50 yrs old, fit but when I am stressed I shed and it's been happening since my 30's. Thank you so much Dr. Berg, you have helped me so much and the way you deliver your teaching is excellent. I starting losing my hair when I was in my mid 40's - but my hairdresser passed a comment to me about my hair coming thin at the time when I was about 37 years of age - I'm a female. So, now I'm in my 50's I shall try gelatin - I am already taking collagen.❤
What type of gelatin mam...is it collagen tablet??
@@jeenp1655 I take collagen power marine/bovine. The gelatin powder I have not purchased yet but it will be the natural one used for making cakes you can find in the baking section of your supermarket.
@@rosahacketts1668 Yes, I believe that gelatin powder would be best, because the jello has too much sugar, and the one w/o sugar may have chemicals in it. I am very careful about sugar free, because many contain Maltitol, which is not good for the body.
Gelatin and Collagen are pretty much the same thing.
Why take gelatin if you're already using collagen powder? It's the same thing and probably better.
His knees started to gradually increase the cracking and popping. It was over a month and then we began to eat it more frequently again, 4-5x a week. Once again his noisy knees stopped. We eat it several times a week now more like maintenance.
Btw, My hair is down to my thighs and I don't need those artificial nails!
Thanks for your hard work and dedication to help us!
It's greatly appreciated ❤️

New learning. I need to buy lots of Knox then. And oh, by the way, I started applying rosemary oil on my scalp and leave it on for an hour before taking a shower. Works wonders! Hairfall is now gone.
Awesome 👏 thanks for sharing.
Can definitely vouch for this, as collagen which is the same thing works great for mine and my family's hair, skin and bones.
Rosemary oil works well with aloe Vera.
External treatments might help but honestly, for having tried so many of them - including the ones you mentioned - nothing beats internal source of nutrition for hair.
@@SwahaChris So so true. I've tried like a lot of hair lotions and what not but ever since I started using vitamins and DHT inhibitors my hair started coming back.
You are just THE BEST! Bless you, Dr. Eric.
I've tried everything for my hair but nothing seems to help. However, in the 70s, I started taking gelatin capsules and that worked great. I stopped taking them because of the scare of "mad cow disease." So Doc, if you can make a gelatin capsule or powder and verify its purity, non gmo, etc.... I'll be the first in line to buy it!
Yes..you have to know the source of the collagen or gel your taking. Only from grass fed beef..certified organic!
We make chicken feet soup. It's sticky if it gets cold. Lots of gelatine. Best flavors.

I used to make homemade Jello with healthy good quality gelatin and 100% grape juice. I know that's not Keto friendly but it is a good alternative to the boxed junk. You could make it with no sugar too and make it Keto friendly.

I started taking red yeast rice and krill oil a couple of months ago. My nails are stronger than they ever have been even when I was a teen. The weird thing is my scalp gets very oily now. I have to wash my hair almost everyday. I always washed my hair once a week all my life. I agree with taking Knox plain gelatin. It’s easy to do. Just put a teaspoon or two in your coffee.
I think the krill oil may be making your scalp oily, I experienced similar with olive oil. Cutting back a bit solved it for me.
Careful with red yeast rice. It is a statin.

If you wash it every day it will continue to be oily. Just bear it for a little time, wash once a week and the sebum production will self regulate.
