- I wonder how many show-cause orders LTO issues every week for drivers or riders that fail to stop or run from enforcers.

LTO should further increase the fines and penalties for those who run away. PHP50,000 fine and 6 months impound of the bike.
I've always advocated that for the first offense, the fine should be 10% of the market value of the vehicle they were in at the time of apprehension. Hefty fine, and the nuance that "only the rich can afford the fines" becomes null.

The truth is that many are still confident that they won't get caught because:
A) they know enforcers can't guard ~40KM of busway 24/7
B) they're confident in their ability to evade enforcers
C) some fully intend to flee if an enforcer tries to apprehend them
@@GadgetAddict yeappp, most of them think they wont get caught, they are the type of riders who would brag to their fellow riders that they always use the bus lane and evade inforcers....proudly. And when they get caught....guess who would say " mahirap lang ako" , " late ako" , " nagmamadali lang po " , " naghahanap buhay lang po"...
if it were up to me, authority should revoke their license immediately. No more nice guy for riders like this.EDSA Bus lane has been here for quite a while now and they should already know better. they just choose not to obey the law.
@@3xk890 Revoke DL once caught using the bus lane AND Impound MC. No ifs or buts !!! If there's a will, there's a way for riders with revoked licenses to aquire another one illegally.....
The law that favors these motorcycles should be changed! Accidents caused by 2 wheels which most of the time injure or killed the guilty rider should not penalize the driver of the 4 wheel! Theyre so undiscipline!

There is twice as many motor scooter in the Philippines than cars. At out 120 plus millions population only small percentage of people on a cars and more on scooter due fact that scooter so much cheaper

These violators just pisses me off. I ride an MC i never use the bus lane yet the audacity of these people. They should really increase the penalties to 10k-15k then on the 2nd violation, impound the damn vehicle and cancellation of drivers license + permanent blacklist so that they won't ever get another driver's license especially for those who run away from law enforcement.

Can you manage to vlog those who are given with show cause orders and paying for their fines inside the LTO ofc? I know that the LTO won't allow it but it's really very satisfying to watch 😅

Idk until when is the TRO for the NCAP, but for me I think they should lift it or what can we do for them to lift that TRO

NCAP would not be effective if the repeat violators will just drive without a plate number. There are so many cars and motorcycles on the road that have no proper plate and they pass by traffic enforcers and police all the time but no apprehensions.
Also if MMDA will be the one running NCAP for the whole Metro, they should have access to LTO database to confirm that the plate number is matched to the right vehicle. So many incidents in the precious NCAP where drivers received tickets but turns out somebody duplicated their plates. The hassle to dispute the ticket would also need to be improved.
Well NCAP doesn't replace ground-level enforcement, it just supplements it.
Enforcers on the ground could focus on apprehending people driving without a plate, or with a concealed plate.
Actually, despite what you see in the news, there's really still no consistent, strict and ongoing efforts to crackdown on people driving without a plate. That should really be a focus.

1 I feel like I miss the clearing operations more now since we get to see the different states of our roads in different areas of metro manila. Clearing operations vids had the involved parties sometimes speak what's on their mind on camera which is fascinating and sometimes get really trendy.

It was the same here before, but unfortunately there's a restraining order from the Supreme Court - prohibiting the cameras from being used for enforcement like that.
Why are there no more videos from the other traffic enforcement teams such as those dealing with the illegal parking and stores encroaching on sidewalks.

You should make a video about those required to report to LTO for getting a show cause order on why they ran and hear their wild and stupid excuses.
Maybe it's time to bring back contactless apprehension but only for critical thoroughfares like EDSA and Commonwealth Ave.

The penalty for those who violate and run should be LICENSE SUSPENSION FOR 6month ,2nd offense REVOCATION, plus increase the monetary penalty of 10k for offender and so on for repeat violator

MMDA and LTO should increase the penalty violation on Edsa Bus way violator's
Bring back CCTV. Law enforcement should always make effort to ensure public safety and apprehend violators. They can't use the high volume of daily paperwork for the number of violations as an excuse. The long term rewards are greater than the short term hassles of doing their job.
what happens if the person does not show up in LTO when they have been issued a show-cause order? Their license should be revoked if the person would not show up after a certain period of time.

I think they should add another enforcer beyond the barrier, parahulihin mga tumatakas na motor, kasi yung ibang nakakatakas wala namang rehistro sasakyan, walang plate number, at walang lisensya..

I think it's time for the SC to lift the TRO since the evidence is clear that violatiors are rampant. There's to many violators for the enforcers to catch them.

As far as i know, there's no national law prohibited wearing slippers while riding. And I've never seen anyone apprehended for that.
But it's generally discouraged for obvious safety reasons.

You can have CCTV facing in any direction you want...
Although obviously having front plates would help for those cameras that hit the front of the bike.

Ang issue, sa pagkakaalam ko, eh maraming nagreklamo sa mga LGU na umabuso ata ng NCAP. Actually di naman ata dapat kasama ang MMDA sa TRO sa NCAP. Nadamay lang ata sila.
