Welcome to the first installment of the Stunt Tips series! I will be passing on my knowledge of building a stunt bike all the way up to learning all the different motorcycle tricks! In today's video I show you how to install aftermarket dirt bike bars on a stock 03/04 Zx6r triple tree. Handlebar preference on your stunt bike is one of the most important parts to making sure your bike feels comfortable to YOU when learning new tricks, although some companies offer aftermarket triple tree's to install dirt bars without drilling I will be showing you the cheaper method of making your stock triple tree do the job. COMMENT what tutorial you want me to cover next!

You and Brian 636 are the whole reason I got a 600 instead of another liter bike. I've been practicing wheelies for a few weeks now. I can consistantly get them up in 1st and 2nd and ride them a bit. Some day I'll have my bike all stunted out, and I'll get to ride with ya at a stunt ride or something. Thanks for all the dank content boss. Stay safe out there.

Tips for drilling holes... Center punch your drill location, and start with a small pilot drill and step up to the desired size. Also all you need for clearance is like a thirtysecond of an inch.
This will make your life easier with hand drills

To perfectly drill the triple to have straight bars. Take triple off. Outline the outside and the three holes on a piece of paper. Then take the paper and fold it in half directly down the center of the middle hole. Then take a center punch and punch the hole on the paper where your most flat spot is to set the riser. Then unfold paper and lay it back on the triple and with the punch holes and everything aligned center punch the triple where you will drill your risers. Your welcome.

7:41 Im sure this had been said before, but a quick tip for someone doing this, Do a mock fitting first, mount the risers too the bar, and set them on your tree, then use that and adjust to where you want, and mark with a paint marker or wax crayon whatever you want, a lead pencil works too. This will help ensure you get a proper square fit.

      1, center punch.
2, your pilot drill was far to big.
3, when trying to drill/mill a metal that is that think you should really use some oil to cool it of some milling fluid or similar.
4, most important DONT put to much pressure on the drill bit lol.

Not a criticism , just a bit of advice, -Quickest way to drill a hole slow it down , keep it straight, use a lot of pressure and work your way up in sizes. Quickest way to ruin a drill bit. Run it fast and roll it around, cutting and relief angles are ground into these tools, if they go in less than straight you are rubbing! - speed + rubbing = friction , heat, and a blunt drill bit, even using a hand drill you can stand on the thing and get some real weight over it, Also hard anodised parts are just that “hard” getting through that thin layer of oxide is the toughest part of drilling alloy parts, otherwise should be real easy, p.s enjoyed the vid!!

You do relize in order to give yourself more clearance under the triple tree using washer, the washer need to be ON TOP of the triple to eat up space fro. The bottom. You threw a ton of Washers under the triple to try and free up space under the triple.. what.

Hey bro my name is Chris I'm in yermo ca and I have been watching your vids for a while now but I have a 2000 gsxr 750 that is not running for some reason been working on it I changed spark plugs and I hard wired fuel pump and no fuel delivery but besides that it is my first street bike and I am pretty good on a dirt bike doing wheelie and also freestyle jumping but I am drawn to street bike stunting .so I am asking you and anyone else in the community any advice or a direction I can start in or what kind of parts I need I would greatly appreciate it and I have riding before I did a sit down wheelie down my street on a r1
