There may be a solution to not getting water in , if u don’t desire water in your engine bay .but not sure hence I am asking. There is something called rain guards for hood vents but I am not sure if they work nor if they also guard the air away
Hi! thanks for your video. For my M2 (not competition and not CS; N55 engine, not S55), I would like to replace the hood for the M2 CS vent hood. Is it possible? Is there any contraindication?
which one will fit better on the f30 N55.... the F87 M3 GTS carbon fiber hood or the F82 M2 CS carbon fiber hood?
Honestly not sure.. I would assume the F87 hood is likely smaller but say that without looking up part numbers
The air flow ironically looks poor over that bar.
You would be surprised..
When it rains or snow does hood luovers actually potentially damage the engine? (A regular car)
No issues, and matches where oem vents sit.. the engine bay isn't sealed normally, so can deal with dust and moisture

Using realoem . com can show similar parts, though I believe the hoods are the same. If so, than any M2/M2C hood will work.
