      @@crisc.9094 please go to wiki (good place to start) and read about the cream gene in horses - it will open all the "different" things - it will even explain cream and there is also a "smoky black" and there is also something totally opposite of leucistic that makes an animal (deer for example) all black - people with two different colors of eyes?? - yep it is related too - it would be a very interesting study for you - start with wiki and the cream gene horse (cremello horse) and at the bottom of the wiki page you will find some things to "rabbit hole" on animals (& people) when it comes to color

      @@crisc.9094 The biggest difference that you can see between leucism and albino is the eye color. A true albino bird or animal will have pink/red eyes. Albinism is much more rare the leucism!

    I've been noticing an oddly colored, washed-out looking female (?) cardinal around my place and have been wondering what was up with that. She (he?) seemed too big to be a fledgling/juvenile, which I thought might have accounted for the strange coloring, but maybe it's leucism. So, thanks for this. I need to do more research.... (And I love your videos.)
