How many BPM did that speed up? Bill is one of my favorites but he didn’t age well as at this point although off of heroin was doing cocaine every day while on methadone maintenance. I don’t if Philly was off of heroin by this point. As great as this is it’s still hard for me to watch

I prefer the younger Bill Evans beautiful lyricism and chord progressions. Later is more avant- garde “wall of sound”
