Decent teams. I don't ever use legendary pokemon, I just catch them for bragging rights. My only two LEGIT shiny pokemon I have ever caught was Mankey and Parasect just a couple of hours ago. I like how you switched it up every Gen with a different starter type. I always go fire, but that's just me.
Don't post your team in your Pokemon playthroughs and ask if it's good, if you've got a Flying type, a Water type, a Ground type and an Electric type, then you're set. And besides, you're playing singleplayer. If you didn't blackout a lot, then it is good for its purpose.
***** Not really Fire, as anything that Fire is super-effective against, all the 4 are. Grass is Flying, Steel is Ground, Bug is also Flying and Ice is Ground.
My team was for fire red: Venusaur, Butterfree, Persian, Seadra, Mr. Mime, and Dodrio. Sea dragon was caught last mainly for surf but was pretty good, and Butterfree's compound eyes made sleep powder 99% accuracy. Lots of fun with that team.
It depends on the user of the game. Someone with ( a lot of) experience will find the game eas overall, but those who are new will find it sometimes (very) difficult.
