I think it’s a balance between them honestly. In songs like Warriors it’s the guitar and rock that makes it feel really epic, while if you listen closely you can hear orchestra (mostly choir and strings) in the background supporting it and filling it out. Here I put the orchestra more at the forefront, while the guitar was playing more of a supportive role. I like both styles but I felt like with the harmonisation of the singers in GODS, a more orchestra focused arrangement would be more appropriate. Really glad you liked it!
this is so good the extra instrumentals make it sound so much more epic, especially with headphones!! i can totally imagine the Worlds performance using this version to perform!!
From Bernie extra electric guitar to this version, the song is much much better already, much "completed" I must say.. The original was good but it was missing the backing instruments, the thing which made Legends Never Die or Rise so good, the instruments that support the vocal. Lit af bro.
