I really enjoyed Frieren fighting a copy of herself in this show. I think its a really cool moment where we get to see just how much she knows in context. Really well done.
Imagine what the fight between the Hero's Party and the Demon King must have been like. Himmel, Eisen, and Heiter were all as god-like as Frieren was, and they fought the Demon King for days. WTF that was like.......
There is just something super imposing about Frieren slowly walking towards the other holding her staff behind her back... And holy damn, I just noticed the almost unnoticeable cut between Frieren and Mimic Frieren in that shot.
Truly is, cuz with this much power she's completely uncorrupted by it. Being in top 5 strongest entities in the material plane and still taking time to search for memorable trinkets and clean statues is the lesson here)

You could make an Argument to put Solitaire higher than her but I would put her on one Level with grausam and Frieren. Solitär also had the advantage in the sense of more informations about Frierens abilities when they fought. In term of raw combat power they are evenly matched. We dont know enought about Flamme to put her on this List. Also among the People who defeated her in the past at least 6 are already dead and they probably defeated her 500 or 600 years ago Frieren became much stronger since then.

This AMV made me realize something. Fern should've lost and been kicked out of the test. She was blasted so hard into the wall it shattered her staff. There is no way the glass wouldn't have been crushed when she was thrown into the wall

If Fern was hit *THAT* hard, she'd be dead. we've seen the golems survive being skewered through massive walls of closing spikes, various other traps, not to mention Sense's clone itself that was ripping and tearing up the labyrinth itself couldn't penetrate the golem or stop them. I really think you have to stop with your defending it, its really such a trivial thing even after watching the series 3 times I only just thought about it after watching this video. Nobody actually thinks fern should fail, I'm just pointing out this was a pothole that you can't just say golem went splat along with the glass.

You forgot that magic in Fieren universe is more like scissors-paper-stone with the difference that there are thousands of options to choose. A powerful mage is never really guaranteed a victory, because a bad matching can happen, like with Sense vs Ubel.

I really want to like this, but this version of the song is so WEAK it has no oomph, no power, no depth. It's like giving you water when you wanted vodka. To be fair, MOST versions of this song have that same problem. Soft, breathy, weak vocals do not fit the song at all.

Now having a video to directly compare the fights, its really astonishing how much more oomph is between Frieren and her doppelganger.
It's literally the only time we ever see Frieren use attack magic other than Zoltrac, and I really really like that
