@@Amtoms While I can understand this way of thinking. You need to be careful not overtuning the rest of the song. Rn I'd even say that your track is even too much in some parts.
You could try using seperate vocals/instrumentals, then turn up the vocals a bit more while turning down the original acapella a little bit. This way you shouldn't overplay the vocals of the original while still not having "too much" of something.

This is amazing dude! My original thoughts when it came out were "it's good, but there's so much missed potential here." It felt like it needed electric guitar, stronger bass/drums (mostly in the final chorus), and a bit of accenting strings to balance out the rock/choral vibe. I also just generally felt like it needed to build up more towards the end so it had more of a climax. Just by adding the guitar you legitimately made it so much better, and I'm kind of tempted to make my own changes to it at some point lol. Anyways, great job!

This is what the original was missing, not a huge beat drop or something super boombastic, it was the lack of a supporting instrument for the vocals, the music relied too much the vocal aspect that they forgot to support it with an instrument that could contrast it from the arguably High Vocal range of the choir.
That is the sole reason why Legends Never Die, Rise, Pheonix were so phenomenal because the supporting instruments contrasted with the vocal range of the singers. It's also the reason why Star Walking was so underwhelming and lacking hype xdd

the reason they do it like this is probably becuse they want the songs for marketing to non league players ratter than creating the hype banger for existing players, this guitar version of song sadly isnt the one the "averange person" would listen and thats the issue with riot songs these years

I disagree. I do not think the original was missing anything. The fact that it relied on vocals and had those awesome synths in the background was what made the song what it is. However, putting the rock and electric in this song takes away the synths and those little things that you feel from the original. Now, this doesn't make this BAD. Its a different FEEL

Ngl I really enjoyed the original, but after listening to the og on repeat, I came to the same conclusion as a lot of people here - it felt like it was missing a lot which felt pretty on par for official League songs. This version really filled in some of those gaps! Now I know what league songs should be closer to..
