Yeah, from the teaser, it seems like ‘Empathy’ might bring them back to that elegant concept. I’m really excited to see how it turns out, and I think it could be a big moment for them!
I Don't think so..for me empathy will be more like emotional self-exploring & girlhood like concept. @@zanewynterr accendio is really good mv i think, even you use a lot of of accendio in this video, especially they make surprise by bringing a bit new type of melody in accendio in some of their live. example th-cam.com/video/94X8bB0wbYw/w-d-xo.html this one have more danger vibe and magical vibe. another example th-cam.com/video/XZrTB15l4yc/w-d-xo.html the accendio in this one have melody like music box and and they even added the turn of the key on the doll back and later it's melody is also different, there is bell chime, there is also a bit sound from anklet that give a sound when your feet is dancing or a glasses break? at lyric with words mirror , there is also majestic sound from inside deep sea and so on. and even the MV it self have many sound effect when they did something. they really put everything. it remind me to T-ARA, they also did that with their song when they doing live. i think acccendio is huge success because the mv concept remind many people to sailor moon and many country have a lot of sailormoon fans, example United States, France, Philippines, Mexico, Italy, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, China and so on.
i'm not a "dive" but ive is my favourite girl group musically, i love every single title track, every b-side and i am so excited for empathy to be released because it sounds like something i would love. ive always hits the mark for me !!
@smileez2556 i put "dive" in quotes because i don't watch content and i don't buy their albums and i don't stream (technically), i dont do "fan" things so i wouldn't call myself a "dive"
@@faridkusumaputra4858 i don't really do "fan" stuff other than listen to their music, so i wouldn't really say im a dive, just a big fan of their music
@@btbtbabe8085being a fan means loving them and their music, and wanting the best for them, you don’t have to go other the top like some dives do! as long as you enjoy their music and consider yourself a fan of it, you would be a dive! but i won’t assume anything
IVE definitely fell off for me after Love Dive because After Like and I Am was during the Y2K girlgroup trend, which made every song sound so same-ish. Wasn't until Baddie where they got back to their darker roots and finally Heya struck that balance between mature, elegant, fun and refreshing. I'm really hoping Empathy can top Heya, but it's going to be tough.
@@inplane9970opposite for me , i think after like and i am are their 2 best title tracks, they werent influenced by the y2k trend at all and sounded like ive, baddie was definitely their worst title track imo it was quite generic to me
Despite I’ve mine having mixed reviews by the public, I was absolutely impressed by what it accomplished. It showed me how this group could be throw into a ballad, then a cute song, and then shift into a fierce concept like it was night and day. I think many people considered that a loss for their royal and polished concept, but Ive truly showed what they have in that album.
I've Mine is also the most popular among the fans, with it having the most sales among all of their other albums. It has 0 set schedule during release while the rest of their albums have it. The fans also dislike Baddie and embrace Off the Record, yet the gp seemed to like Baddie better.
also the sound that I associate the most with IVE is this siren-y, chanting sort of bewitching tune. and I think that has been present in ALL of their releases so far. they've always had this tune of something Greater, something beyond, almost mythical or occultism happening and I feel that was well represented throughout their discography. they very intricately weave themes of the metaphysical with their sound+concept and that's what I find the most enchanting. I think that's the word for IVE. Enchanting
I mean they deliver, their fans just don't seem to like it? How can you watch the Accendio mv and go "meh"? You don't have to like a song, but the way they bring their vision to life is impressive. I haven't seen something this good from the big 4. Aespa had a good year but you never know with SME, also they dabble too much in AI for my liking.
A lot of people seems to think that 2024 is a bad year for IVE just because they didn't have a win for Heya and Accendio. When in reality, Heya charted Top 2 everywhere and they were on world tour where they became the 7th highest grossing tour this year overall and 3rd for female idols, they have the highest audiences for Tokyo Dome too
I honestly think heya and accendio are so much better than baddie, they have like a magical taste idk 😭 I haven’t been keeping up with K-pop recently and thought these two were loved (idk how to phrase it omg)
The thing was they were competing against SEVENTEEN in sbs and mnet shows for awards.. And heya could have won but Maestro (seventeen's song) took all wins. Even though when I looked at some points the difference was too low (meaning IVE could've won easily at some rates) but that tells us that we as DIVES must vote for them in the coming shows and let's show a lot of love towards empathy.
let's not forget how much praise they now get from their improvement as performers, it's so unrealll they shut up their hate train soo bad. honestly if it weren't for zico and svt releasing a comeback around the release of ive switch, they'll definitely chart this year!
True. They also busy so much this year that make them less promote their song. Like they prepair for their world tour, music show perform, a little variety show, etc.
It's the Itzy curse, their "flop" album sold 800k. Now is their hype over and an over-critical fanbase the ultimate death? Yeah. And IVE has the same issue. But they have much stronger loyal fanbases then we think, and I think IVE might just put more effort into the SK and Japanese market if the i-fans keep acting up like this over a great cb. Bc the Asian fans are so supportive, IVE is huge. It's just that fans of mid-sized companies had a rude awakening this year, being pushed over by big 4 or actually mostly bg like every other group (and even there, JYPE groups cannibalize themselves and Itzy couldn't get a win either, as well as Baemon still struggling to secure a win). My ults are doing fine but are still smaller and don't have that funding so we don't expect to win. I don't say that I'm kinda finding this funny bc IVE deserved a win and can actually sing an encore, but if you look up from the bottom all the time it's fun seeing fans fight over almost a million sales. Like chill, you will survive just fine.
Even tho we didn’t get a music show win we won in sooo many other places and ways it’s like who cares about the little trophies lol. My biggest win as a DIVE is that the hate train is gone they prove people wrong every day. Ofc there are still the annoying trolls who put the girls against eachother but overall the public perception on them has been sooo good this year
ans its the way their world tour this year is the top 3, right under Blackpink and twice, one of the most succesful gg world tour of all time. This is such a milestone for people saying "they're only famous in korea" or "they're falling off". Nope to even achieve smth like this while being boycotted by Chinese and Japanese fans is actually insane. They also hold record for selling out tokyo dome (within 4th gen). Their albums also deapite of the boycott is one of the albums with the highest sales this year. They went to lollapalooza and due to great feedbacks, they're invited again for next year. They crushed all the university festivals as well as summer sonic. Its not as bad of a year people makes it seem. They just didn't receive the hate train they had back then which is why ppl think they "fell" off. but the statistics really disproves that especially after winning yet another daesang at AAA
First of all, awesome video, extremely high quality first uploadt! legit I was so entranced with your narration that i didn't realize the video was ending. Honestly, it feels great to see a video so full of love and admiration for IVE and all the potential, improvement and talent the girls posses and continue to show, i'm really excited for IVE EMPATHY and i hope 2025 treats the girls well, 2024 was a really good year for them and I can't wait to see what comes next. Again, great video!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot, especially for my first upload. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and IVE shown incredible growth, and EMPATHY has me so excited too. Here’s to an even better 2025 for IVE and all of us as fans!
wow you explained it so well!! i’ve been a dive since eleven era and i’ve loved seeing their growth as artists and their music evolving over time, i’m so excited for their comeback!! 🩷
i feel like their releases from eleven up to i am, they went with a generic route to gain a fanbase and get attention. after they found huge success they decided to explore the artistry and authenticity of the group more thus leading to unique and artsy type of concepts (either way, baddie, otr, heya, accendio). personally i think that they're in a really good position in the industry. they're large and have a stable and strong fanbase especially in korea and they're not large enough that it may damage their image and identity (e.g. le sserafim). sure their overseas promotions may be lackluster compared to other groups but it's not like they're unknown. they performed at lollapalooza and they're about to perform in lollapalooza paris in 2025
I agree! IVE has definitely found a great balance between gaining a strong fanbase and staying true to their evolving artistry. Their unique concepts have set them apart, and their position in the industry seems solid for now.
Good analysis. A bit of a tearjerker with how successful they have been, I am so proud of them. I hope they have great bangers and lots of love in 2025. ♥
Ive is my second favorite gg behind Gfriend. I love their music and I personally love and admire the members for their distinct personalities but they all fit together. Their concept is what I've been looking for after Gfriend's disbandment.
I loved this video so much! Your explanation of the songs on their concepts was top notch! For me, their growth and change in concept is one of the reasons I really love them. Its a repredentation of their name IVE - "I have"! For me, I especially love Heya and Accendio, theyre both really strong songs, but In different ways, showing 2 aspects of IVE we havent really seen before (Also i just really love the accendio music video lol)
IVE is my favourite GG alongside Red Velvet, f(x), Gfriend and WJSN uwu I love how elegant and artistic Ive is and how talented the girls are! I'm excited for their comeback! Thank you for the great video
I love their songs all of them but ever since Heya dropped it was clear they tried something different which is great the song is listenable and catchy but it isn’t something id put on my playlist as a everyday listen, but other than that i totally miss their older concepts as in Eleven, After Like, Love Dive, and I am
I love IVE and I am obsessed with all of their releases up until I Am and I also loved Baddie BUT the rest that came afterwards and their most recent stuff doesn't come close to their prior releases for me personally. but still, great songs overall! I am definitely excited and looking forward to their next comeback and IVE's future, because they deserve all the success 💖
@@Welchs-Fruit-Snacks Why not? Because they're not brave enough to spread misinformation and toxicity with their own voice? AI channels are usually like that, just negative click farming. It's a red flag and I mistrust them immediately.
Ironically, I feel like the more music IVE releases, the more solidified their concept feels. IVE was never about elegance or royalty, but ‘Show[ing] What [they] Have’ to offer to the music industry. Despite the number of concepts they’ve followed, every release has been underpinned by the same message of confidence, empowerment and self love. Although every comeback may express this message differently, every release is intertwined by this consistent intention of IVE to prove to themselves and the world that we all have what it takes.
Elegance and sophistication were definitely key elements that attracted fans initially. But over time, IVE has expanded on these qualities, adding more depth and layers to their concept. They’ve brought in core values like confidence, boldness, and self-assurance, which complement their elegance and help define their evolving identity.
Ive is my most favourite kpop group. It’s because of their elegant concept.Make more videos about Ive.But many of my classmates make fun of me for being a nugu fan(In my country)😣
IVE marches to their own drum beats. And these days they can be more experimental and edgy. The general views/popularity can take a walk. The album sales, die hard fandom and sold out world concerts speak for themselves. They can never change.
Can’t wait for their comeback, I have been obsessed with eleven, love dive, I am and Accendio. Even though I don’t click with the songs like baddie or kitsch, I’ve was like the only group to have a solid first full album. Most groups in kpop just focus on one good song and one good bside, cohesive albums don’t exist anymore.
Hi! Commenting and liking this video coz 1. I'm a Dive and 2. I'm a new subscriber. This is such a high quality first video. Looking forward to watching more content from you. 😊
3:33 IVE is going to release an album trailer tomorrow (Dec 29) at 11PM KST and a concept film for the 1st title track of their upcoming album IVE EMPATHY on January 6 at 11PM KST. This will be the first time they’ve done this in nearly 3 years since the iconic Dear Cupid promotion video!
I really like the variety of their music, i think the fact that all of their tracks have such different concepts is what makes them stand up. I've been a fan from debut, but still Accendio blew my mind and is my favorite song by them by far, it even was my most reproduced song of the year. Its crazy for me thinking that they debuted in dec 2021, just 3 years ago of me posting this comment, and they already have such a big and amazing discography.
Off the record to me transcends everything before it. Its hypnotic, evocative and feels like a im being led through a dream. Its far and away my favorite ive song, one of my favorite songs period. Im really friggin old and when i hear this song i feel like i am 8 first hearing am radio in the early 70s. When music felt like magic
IVE for me has a perfect discography. All their songs grew on me even when they had an obvious change in theme and sound. I think they have a good team behind them !
I agree with you 100%. I was one of those people that faded away from IVE. When the first debuted with with eleven I was wowed big time! Ad their next couple of songs were also great. But then their album dropped. And I waa like uhh. The only 4th song I like by IVE is the remake they did of the song we can do this all night. But as I said it's a remake.
IVE would always truly be one of the most successful groups in kpop. The fact that they're in a company not even under the big 3 makes their growth just so fascinating to witness, along with the risks they take always coming out well-received is just amazing. Their diverse concepts and unskippable discography are a plus, they actually care about artistry as much as wins and I hope they'd get even bigger for their promising legacy😖♥️
Even tho I really like IVE I think 2024 was their worst year since debut due to a lot of reasons like the compétions this year that was fierce and the lack of promotion in a LOT of their come back (heya, ascendio, supernova love) but I genuinely hope that 2025 will be the year of IVE like 2024 was the year of Aespa ❤❤❤
this is just me but personally I started to stop liking their music since kitsch and I am 😭 from there on I thought their music sounded too much like those 2 instead of the original trilogy that I loved so much
but to me ive never changed concept, just expanding and bending it, sorta like barbie but with much more mature and darker ENCHANTING tints. they started with enchanting eleven, and even with concepts like kitsch, either way etc, they still have the enchanters in their own fonts.
Firstly, I think that K-Pop fans in the 3rd gen were more open to their favs having different concepts. They kinda liked to brag about how diverse and well-sounding their groups were, no matter if they released ballads or summer hits. While 4th gen just stick to one concept, idea and sound and that really is boring from time to time. But not with IVE. They really want to show their true colors and tell the worlds that they can pull off anything. This may sound really subjective, but indeed IVE is one of the only groups right now that didn't flop their sound quality. Their songs are girly but also deep and unique. Diversity is just a risky card that they are play really really well in such a demanding industry where fans are eager to blast their ears with nonsense, as long as it is catchy. I just really appreciate how IVE is not following this path. Second of all, I also think that Starship might face some challenges from time to time, that in the end might affect their promotion. IVE isn't from the Big 3, but their MVs easily have millions of views. And you can hate me for this opinion, but their growth is totally organic. IVE isn't just pretty faces after all, they truly worked hard in many areas to improve and reflect on their flaws, only to come back stronger. Their concepts also shifted, but they will always stay true to their origin and I think they will experiment from time to time, only to come back to what fans are usually used to hear from them. I'm also glad that they get to work on their songs and are killing it out there (like Yujin and Karina of aespa performing together is the best Christmas gift). It's really hard to describe what IVE is and will be, since it is a blend of everything... but make it sound polished and glossy. IVE is simply natural and I believe they want to give a lesson to nowaday fans that they should not stick to something until they get bored, but rather embrace the beauty of music as it is and feel nostalgic later and not tired. They want the fans to crave for more music and hardly anticipate their next move, which is extremely hard (if not impossible) to achieve as a girl band in K-Pop. Last but not least... Wow, I can't grasp the idea this is your first video. The editing was so good and I'd bet on my life your voice sounded so familiar. But when you said it is your first video ever, I was shocked. A fantastic job, I really liked how you touched everything and was giving details to the most essential parts. One thing I want to say is that I think you didn't keep the mic in the same position throughout the video, so the audio quality was giving its ups and downs. I'd prefer if the audio sounded like that in the beginning of the video because it was clear and nice to hear, however you can try anything that you feel comfortable with, as long as the audio is immersive and uniform. Keep going and I hope you'll grow bigger and bigger. 😇
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video and it means a lot to me. Your support keeps me motivated, and I hope you’ll stick around for more!
I like this video a lot. At first a little worried after reading the title of the video. They should of won more awards but like you said 2024 is saturated. I can't wait for 2025 and hopefully they do another world tour soon. The Karina x An Yujin "Killer" is quite a surprise though i think it's cool watching them on 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon.
Actually, they failed on Heya because of stealing Chinese culture and called it Korean culture. Not because of the lack of promotion or something else, is just because Chinese fans were angry, a huge number of Chinese fans who used to pay a lot to help them promote or on the albums sells were very disappointed. They stopped to pay for Heya, none wins in music programs and no votes. (But I think their next comeback will be better, because Chinese fans might still supporting them since that is company’s fault) Supernova love…. I don’t have to say anything about it 😅
Despite cfans boycott the album still sold as much as their other albums except Ive mine It was the best selling gg album of 2024 They couldn’t win on music shows as their competitors on shows were seventeen with huge fandom and double the sales of Ive switch They know about cfans and that’s why they have started doing fancalls with them after months and I think the situation became somewhat better than it was Most of the ones who spread hate for supernova love have deleted their posts on twitter after being called out for blind hatred
me personally i feel like i always saw this change coming? bec to me from debut ive wasnt this surface level glamour and polished amd elegant concept. to me it was very deep and very introspective and experimental. either way & pff the record fit their narrative perfectly. i also still havent moved on from I Am. i genuinely think its one of THEE best kpop songs ever. i dont get how people didnt feel the same way about it its so incredible!
Hands down this is probably the best video I've seen about I've. Great job for your first video. I can't wait to see what's next ❤ P.S. Can I request a video like this on Red Velvet because Red Velvet has been struggling a lot with popularity recently.
im gonna be harsh but be sure im a 100% dive everything went extremely well untill ive mine. i dont really like saying that public failed something but it is totally the case for either way and off the record. as for the baddie i think is kinda embarrassing for such a group like ive have it as a title track. it only got popular by inertia. my guess is that starship just ran out of good and promising songs so they just pulled up this disaster. talking about ive switch, i absolutely loved the visuals, the ideas, the storylines. heya mv is the best music video of the year for sure. artists did great a job and id like to thank them all. in general the goal with this album in my opinion was to release something not so outstanding but still pretty good and then to get back to touring quickly. which is fine. but now starship has to do their best so that whatever happened to itzy wouldn't happen to ive. it mostly applies to the title track. and i am worried about that. i dont believe in the power of the fandom (not just dives, any), i suppose that a truly great song is gonna be loved and recognised by the general public, which happed to every song until ive mine. the video posted couple days ago was a little bit disappointing, whereas love me hate me you will never be me gave me back hope. but.... im so sorry to be this meticulous but i am was only about them while teased part brings up haters.... i dont think that really suits the concept so i hope for the best for both starship and ive!!!! looking forward to the new era ❤
I don’t have many hopes for this comeback it’s seen like it’s about to debut with 700-800k streams on Spotify and would probably enter to the top 10 of all kcharts but will not have longevity If this happens this comeback I think we are going to be sure they will not recover from the IVE mine álbum damage
Actually i was little bit worried for their first title in next album because the poster looked like off the record but they teased song in sbs , it sounded so good. i love off the record but i think releasing two balled like songs in same period ( it didnt match their signature sounds at that time ) was the reason people didnt like it .
ive has a very diverse sound, you don't know what they'll come up with next. yet, at the same time, it's very IVE. love dive and kitsch is like so far from each other but it's still very ive.
I love all their songs. But after watching this, now, I understand why Off The Record and Either Way didn't get the attention they deserve.. I personally like the songs because I listen to Ballad a lot.. especially from Sejeong & IU.. But now I'm addidcted to IVE.. So excited for their New Song ❤
i'm agree in the fact that 2025 will be IVE determinent years (i'm talking about chat) if they do not well, even if the music is good, achievement stan will leave them or it's also a determinent years in terms of concept, what's new thing they can bring as concept music that's will scream "IVE" idenitity ?! it's seem also that starship is experiencing music as IVE "I HAVE" concept but also marketing strategy, to know wich type of song sell more. I'm saying that because recently they been promoting IVE really well and reback to their orignal comeback promotion like AFTER LIKE era.
Am I the only one who clearly doesn’t see any differences of concepts between their old songs and their new one ? To me it’s just an evolution and an adaptation according to what is trending or not ?
I think after either way the song choice been kinda off and heya could be a big hit unless the Chinese and wonyoung solos didn't boycott the comeback anyway they did Great this year but not Thier best compering to 2022 and early 2023 hope 2025 will comeback stronger
Hey guys don't listen to the videos that are talking about how they predict the fall of your favourite. True that it's an idea but it starts growing until many people start believing it. This is exactly how the hate train started with Itzy.
@user-je6io6cv5d i never said that this is bad or talking sh*t about ive, but i really hope that fans aren't obsessed with videos like what happened to that and this.
Let me make this clear: IVE is one of my favorite groups of all time, I’m a very proud dive myself. This video was NEVER meant to throw hate towards them. I’ve been a fan since Produce 48, and I would never create negativity or use it for popularity. Please don’t misunderstand the intent & this is only about constructive discussion, not hate. Let’s keep it respectful and avoid spreading the wrong idea!
@@zanewynterr yes sure you are, I already loved your video so much, i'm just warning, because fans these days believes everything and they make it even more complex, i already have seen it with itzy and i hope i will never see it with any other group. Thnks for your time really and please keep the good work.
Hmmm… I still stand by this point: This group is so lucky to have KPop’s hottest IT girl super hard carrying their group to be included in the same conversation as the Big 3 company.
It’s not that hard of a carry when Yujin is also consistently in the top 3-5 girl group idols in popularity rankings in Korea. Her role in the earth arcade variety show and frequent advertisements for big companies also help in IVE’s exposure. Rei too should not be overlooked when she has created a huge trend with the ribbon pose, has a TH-cam show, popularized her IG aesthetic, and gets big numbers on her individual tiktoks
It’s good to have annyeongz which helped the group get attention at the start but it wasn’t real hard carrying when other members helped make their songs viral too with leeseo, liz during eleven, gaeul with after like,I am being one of the eras liz shined the most and rei being trendsetter, also yujin and wonyoung have become bigger than they ever were after debuting in ive
I love their songs but i dont like heya and ascendio at all even the whole album :( especially the english parts have cringe lyrics but overall i dont like the new songs. Aöö the other songs are SOOOOO good though maybe except baddie ( my favs are i am , eleven)
Unpopular opinion: I love IVE more as models and vloggers on their TH-cam channel than as singers. One of them can easily join like Miss Korea or something with their height advantage. I listen to their music but not as frequent as the other KPOP girl groups that I listen to.
… Le sserafim is not in the top 3? It’s called AEISEU (which means ACE in English) for a reason: ae(spa) + I(VE) + (NewJean)seu. These are the only 4th gen ggs to have won SOTY.
How is ive the 4th? Won SOTY as rookies (for love dive) Won AOTY that wasn't won in 11 years 2nd 4th gen groups with most wins (achieved in just 3 yrs) Had the most successful Japanese album this year with _____ (I forgot mb) Sold out tokyo dome in 10 seconds 4th gen gg with the highest audience in tokyo dome surpassing aespa & newjeans On the list after blackpink and twice for most successful world tours Won SOTY for i am Only group to have 3 really successful albums all in one Etc.
@ although I’ve has a more elegant/royal concept you can see that they are the ONLY 6 member girl groups without giant company’s who have a reminiscent sound of the second gen with major success. I’ve debuted after stayc had already had two comebacks.
@ I mean having an old kpop sound isn’t grounds for copying. Also starship has produced hit groups like sistar, wjsn, and monsta x. They may not be a big name, but they have been a stable company for many years. I’ve also samples a lot of western songs too and actually many of their songs have a modern or sample style to it ie disco and hiphop. Wooyoung and yujin were also apart of izone so they didn’t pop on the scene from no where. So I do not understand how you came to such conclusions
funny that this video came around the time when they teased empathy cuz from the sound of the song they are back to their elegant concept
Yeah, from the teaser, it seems like ‘Empathy’ might bring them back to that elegant concept. I’m really excited to see how it turns out, and I think it could be a big moment for them!

i think theyre just showing everything they have/ can which explains the jump in their concepts from comeback to comeback
Noiiice❤
Exactly. Just like the title of their concert, “Show what I Have” basically, they really want to show what they have to the whole world that's why.
i'm not a "dive" but ive is my favourite girl group musically, i love every single title track, every b-side and i am so excited for empathy to be released because it sounds like something i would love. ive always hits the mark for me !!
That what makes us dive literally
You're "not" a dive?
@smileez2556 i put "dive" in quotes because i don't watch content and i don't buy their albums and i don't stream (technically), i dont do "fan" things so i wouldn't call myself a "dive"
@@faridkusumaputra4858 i don't really do "fan" stuff other than listen to their music, so i wouldn't really say im a dive, just a big fan of their music
@@btbtbabe8085being a fan means loving them and their music, and wanting the best for them, you don’t have to go other the top like some dives do! as long as you enjoy their music and consider yourself a fan of it, you would be a dive! but i won’t assume anything
i miss the older IVE concept's vibes but then i love their new songs 😭😭 i want both
i love some of their recent music but not all.
@@Way2go926same I prefer their early debut songs
IVE definitely fell off for me after Love Dive because After Like and I Am was during the Y2K girlgroup trend, which made every song sound so same-ish. Wasn't until Baddie where they got back to their darker roots and finally Heya struck that balance between mature, elegant, fun and refreshing. I'm really hoping Empathy can top Heya, but it's going to be tough.
@@inplane9970opposite for me , i think after like and i am are their 2 best title tracks, they werent influenced by the y2k trend at all and sounded like ive, baddie was definitely their worst title track imo it was quite generic to me
"I am" in my opinion is their best song

Enchanting
Enchanting, this is a great insight
a lot of people have really high expectations for Ive and this is both exciting and stressful at the same time 😭 I really hope they do well
that's so true because IVE set the standard so high for themselve that's every comeback the standard is higher
@ fr
Itghing
Ofc there are still the annoying trolls who put the girls against eachother but overall the public perception on them has been sooo good this year
I’m so happy that the hate train is over too! The girls have worked so hard and proved themselves time and time again.
ans its the way their world tour this year is the top 3, right under Blackpink and twice, one of the most succesful gg world tour of all time.
i feel like their releases from eleven up to i am, they went with a generic route to gain a fanbase and get attention. after they found huge success they decided to explore the artistry and authenticity of the group more thus leading to unique and artsy type of concepts (either way, baddie, otr, heya, accendio). personally i think that they're in a really good position in the industry. they're large and have a stable and strong fanbase especially in korea and they're not large enough that it may damage their image and identity (e.g. le sserafim). sure their overseas promotions may be lackluster compared to other groups but it's not like they're unknown. they performed at lollapalooza and they're about to perform in lollapalooza paris in 2025
I actually find so refreshing that they are more focused on Korea. I think they sound more like kpop than a korean act trying to sound western.
I agree! IVE has definitely found a great balance between gaining a strong fanbase and staying true to their evolving artistry. Their unique concepts have set them apart, and their position in the industry seems solid for now.
espesially for your first video, this is super in depth! You will make it big on this platform with good consistency!

For me, their growth and change in concept is one of the reasons I really love them. Its a repredentation of their name IVE - "I have"! For me, I especially love Heya and Accendio, theyre both really strong songs, but In different ways, showing 2 aspects of IVE we havent really seen before

I love the quality omg it's so good keep up the good work🫶🫶
Thank you!
Ive is my most favourite kpop group. It’s because of their elegant concept.Make more videos about Ive.But many of my classmates make fun of me for being a nugu fan(In my country)😣
You’re not a nugu fan!
@zanewynterr I know that 😞.Popularity doesn’t matter.
IVE marches to their own drum beats. And these days they can be more experimental and edgy. The general views/popularity can take a walk. The album sales, die hard fandom and sold out world concerts speak for themselves. They can never change.
Good job Zane! This was a good and thorough deep dive!
Thank you!
CAN'T WAIT FOR THEIR CB NEXT MONTH
Can’t wait for their comeback, I have been obsessed with eleven, love dive, I am and Accendio. Even though I don’t click with the songs like baddie or kitsch, I’ve was like the only group to have a solid first full album. Most groups in kpop just focus on one good song and one good bside, cohesive albums don’t exist anymore.
I agree with you.

Cant wait for their comeback
As a casual listener of ive they have amazing vocals but I haven’t liked their cbs since love dive
Off the record and Heya are literally my faves TT
Even tho I really like IVE I think 2024 was their worst year since debut due to a lot of reasons like the compétions this year that was fierce and the lack of promotion in a LOT of their come back (heya, ascendio, supernova love) but I genuinely hope that 2025 will be the year of IVE like 2024 was the year of Aespa ❤❤❤
this is just me but personally I started to stop liking their music since kitsch and I am 😭 from there on I thought their music sounded too much like those 2 instead of the original trilogy that I loved so much
Dumbass mindset. Do you even know why they’re called IVE? No probably not.
but to me ive never changed concept, just expanding and bending it, sorta like barbie but with much more mature and darker ENCHANTING tints. they started with enchanting eleven, and even with concepts like kitsch, either way etc, they still have the enchanters in their own fonts.
They were on a world tour?
Yes
Yes i went to one
Yes!!! They were amazing to see!!!
I like your optimism
Ever since kitsch they haven't hit the same to me
I am was a big hit though
That’s funny considering that kitsch and I AM we’re massive successes…
Heya and Accendio are incredible tho
I don’t have to say anything about it 😅
Despite cfans boycott the album still sold as much as their other albums except Ive mine
It was the best selling gg album of 2024
They couldn’t win on music shows as their competitors on shows were seventeen with huge fandom and double the sales of Ive switch
They know about cfans and that’s why they have started doing fancalls with them after months and I think the situation became somewhat better than it was
Most of the ones who spread hate for supernova love have deleted their posts on twitter after being called out for blind hatred
me personally i feel like i always saw this change coming? bec to me from debut ive wasnt this surface level glamour and polished amd elegant concept. to me it was very deep and very introspective and experimental. either way & pff the record fit their narrative perfectly. i also still havent moved on from I Am. i genuinely think its one of THEE best kpop songs ever. i dont get how people didnt feel the same way about it its so incredible!

There is so much misinformation in this video. KITCH dropped on March 27th.
im gonna be harsh but be sure im a 100% dive
everything went extremely well untill ive mine. i dont really like saying that public failed something but it is totally the case for either way and off the record. as for the baddie i think is kinda embarrassing for such a group like ive have it as a title track. it only got popular by inertia. my guess is that starship just ran out of good and promising songs so they just pulled up this disaster.
talking about ive switch, i absolutely loved the visuals, the ideas, the storylines. heya mv is the best music video of the year for sure. artists did great a job and id like to thank them all. in general the goal with this album in my opinion was to release something not so outstanding but still pretty good and then to get back to touring quickly. which is fine.
but now starship has to do their best so that whatever happened to itzy wouldn't happen to ive. it mostly applies to the title track. and i am worried about that. i dont believe in the power of the fandom (not just dives, any), i suppose that a truly great song is gonna be loved and recognised by the general public, which happed to every song until ive mine.
the video posted couple days ago was a little bit disappointing, whereas love me hate me you will never be me gave me back hope.
but.... im so sorry to be this meticulous but i am was only about them while teased part brings up haters.... i dont think that really suits the concept
so i hope for the best for both starship and ive!!!! looking forward to the new era ❤
I don’t have many hopes for this comeback it’s seen like it’s about to debut with 700-800k streams on Spotify and would probably enter to the top 10 of all kcharts but will not have longevity
If this happens this comeback I think we are going to be sure they will not recover from the IVE mine álbum damage
Personally, I loved either way and off the record, I thought they were fantastic!,! I want more of such songs for them, it fits their vocals and style
Heya and Accendio actually deserved so much more. I actually like those songs way more than baddie and kitsch for example.
i'm agree in the fact that 2025 will be IVE determinent years (i'm talking about chat) if they do not well, even if the music is good, achievement stan will leave them or it's also a determinent years in terms of concept, what's new thing they can bring as concept music that's will scream "IVE" idenitity ?! it's seem also that starship is experiencing music as IVE "I HAVE" concept but also marketing strategy, to know wich type of song sell more.
I'm saying that because recently they been promoting IVE really well and reback to their orignal comeback promotion like AFTER LIKE era.
i believe that 2025
will be ive’s year❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Am I the only one who clearly doesn’t see any differences of concepts between their old songs and their new one ? To me it’s just an evolution and an adaptation according to what is trending or not ?
I think after either way the song choice been kinda off and heya could be a big hit unless the Chinese and wonyoung solos didn't boycott the comeback anyway they did Great this year but not Thier best compering to 2022 and early 2023 hope 2025 will comeback stronger
6:12 why even gaeul? what do you mean?
maybe he meant it in the context of vocals, since gaeul is definitely a rapper but delivered great vocals despite that? like in the prechorus ^-^

Rei idea
Unpopular opinion: I love IVE more as models and vloggers on their TH-cam channel than as singers. One of them can easily join like Miss Korea or something with their height advantage.
I listen to their music but not as frequent as the other KPOP girl groups that I listen to.

Trash talk, get something better to do.?
I'ves a great group but their still not in the present top 3.
1. Aespa
2. Le Sserrafim
3. New Jeans
4 I've
… Le sserafim is not in the top 3? It’s called AEISEU (which means ACE in English) for a reason: ae(spa) + I(VE) + (NewJean)seu. These are the only 4th gen ggs to have won SOTY.
Lesserafim is not in the top 3! They have good songs but, IVE, aespa, and Newjeans had more success!
LE SSERAFIM is not the top three, lol. IVE is second to NJ in popularity in South Korea
How is ive the 4th?
Won SOTY as rookies (for love dive)
Won AOTY that wasn't won in 11 years
2nd 4th gen groups with most wins (achieved in just 3 yrs)
Had the most successful Japanese album this year with _____ (I forgot mb)
Sold out tokyo dome in 10 seconds
4th gen gg with the highest audience in tokyo dome surpassing aespa & newjeans
On the list after blackpink and twice for most successful world tours
Won SOTY for i am
Only group to have 3 really successful albums all in one
Etc.
Le sserafim is not that successful compared to the others
They are an exact rip off of stayc
In what way?
STAYC is very bubblegum electro pop and bright colors and pastels and dripping in cuteness. I don’t think I’ve have tried that concept
@ yeah but stayc and ive are THE ONLY groups doing this tho. Even at first glance you can find similarities
@ similarities doesn’t mean rip off.
That’s like saying stayc ripped off snsd and twice for bubblegum electro pop and cute concepts.
loved the video but hated the way your voice annoyed me so much
??? 😭😭
...And what is bro supposed to do about that 😭??? That's crazy.
Thanks for diving into Ive for your first video 😂❤❤0:31
I like this ❤ keep going and stay tuned for EMPATHY 🩷🩷
