I used a similar method for a painting of Napoleon on his horse but with a putty rubber and even managed some intricate sections. I wish I had your knowledge as it would have halved, if not more than that, the time it took and made all my details more 3D. I have learned so much from watching you work and not only has your work blown me away it has taught me so much and renewed my interest in art again ( I haven't done anything for a number of years ) . Thank you for sharing your talent and teaching people to work in an easy and informative way.

Hi Kristy, loved your description and most importantly the final outcome of your sketch. I tried using a cut eraser but couldn't get the fur effect. Maybe I shouldn't have used the regular soft eraser. Did you use hard eraser ??

Meggan's Art well i saw a package of daler rowneys brand with charcoal bars graphite pencils etc in walmart with an eraser inside so i guess maybe try with that eraser?
Dulce Celeste Palacios García I got a drawing set that came with graphite pencils and charcoal but that eraser doesn't work maybe a kneaded eraser would work but idk

Do u need a specific eraser to be able to erase charcoal? Because I didn't even know that charcoal was erasable. Btw the drawing is amazing!
