When I worked for Komatsu they had a massive chip on their shoulder about CAT and liked to pretend that they could offer a machine to compete with every CAT machine. That was the generation before DEF, Komatsu seems to put a really clunky DEF system on every machine, often where CAT and othwr brands may only have a DPF. In my opinion a DPF is less expensive and less of a hassle than a adblue. Experience has taught me that Komatsu machines really aren't on the same level any more, needless to say you will see 50 CAT140s or 16s for every Komatsu Grader, and 10 'high sprocket' dozens for every Komatsu.
My dad’s cousin commented on in Australia mines the Cat 24 h was a good machine but the next model 24 n or is it m ? Was full of electronics and never could do a full week without something breaking down and stopping it from working . We let manufacturers put too much rubbish into our machines these days .
I have operated the Cat 24 in mining operations. I would like to try this and compare the two. But since I am retired I guess it will never happen.
Price ?
I used to operate a 16g grader in the mines at big bell back in 1989
Just before I left after a car accident. But now retierd. Warren Patterson. 😊😊
How much to delete emissions and does it effect warranty?

Yes
Don't think it would cut it in mining in Australia
Why? I drove graders around kalgoolie and karratha and can’t see why it wouldn’t work..
Would have liked to say and watch this. But I leave when a “sponsor” ad come on. Done had to watch 2 before the start. No like.
❤ok
The Cat 18 grader is years ahead of these Komatsu's. As it has always been the Cat's will sell 10-20 times as many graders as any other manufacturer.
Hard to make a prediction like that when the 955 has only been out for months. I guess time will tell.
This looks robust.
