Great job! I may have missed a step, but I do not see CASTER Stream MIx 1. I get no option on the Caster output. I have the paid version. Any help would be awesome!
Good morning. Congratulations for the video. I have a question. If I want to record a phone call on mac via smartphone, what should I do? Thank you so much.
Great demo. But I think the app is by Ginger audio. And groundcontrol is another app they have to offer. It's like a virtual monitor controller. You might make a video on that to. Again great video.
Can I have a demo for how to work it with Discord? For some reasons whenever I trying to work it with discord I can't hear any of my friends but they're picking up my desktop audio and others....
1. Make sure your discord audio input & output is switched to Caster 2. based on your description, sounds like your input is set to caster but output is not setup correctly. 3. lastly, I'd make sure the audio monitor is on, so you can hear the feed coming from discord. hope this helps.
@@technerdsbuildingbusinesses Don't worry I was able to figure everything out about the whole desktop audio problem and now I'm able to regulate the volume without anyone being bothered with the audio coming from other apps. Also I'm able to record with multiple audio tracks. Which I'm very happy about. Love the app, super easy to use and handle; and best of all there's a soundboard!!! (to bother my friends XD)
Awesome video. I stumbled upon CASTER when looking for a way to get my stream deck sound effects into my streams on OBS without having to buy a Wave XLR just to get the Wave link software. It’s very easy to use and I have directed my audio sources so I could put them individually into OBS. I am using a fifine mic and the fifine SC3 mixer because i am on a budget but I was curious if you could do a video on using plug ins in caster to really dial the microphone in to get the best sound out of it. That’s where I really need some help. Again, great video!
When trying to use Caster to record audio from this video, I change sound in bar at top of mac to Caster as instructed, and select External Headphones in Caster as instructed, but I can't hear anything on my headphones. I see the sound levels jumping in caster, but silence in headphones. If I switch the sound in sound bar of mac to headphones, I hear the sound, but the levels drop to zero in the caster app. Something is obviously not set correctly. Can someone guide me? Thanks.
I'm using BlogTalk radio to take live calls for a podcast. I open the BTR studio in a Chrome browser and use my headphones and mic to talk to callers. I also want to live stream the podcast as a video using Restream io in another Chrome tab, but when I do, Restream does not pick up the BTR sound or caller coming into my headphones. How should I configure GroundControl to capture all that's coming through my headphones and mic for my podcast? Or is it not possible?
Thanks for the detailed video! I did all of the steps to get Caster to work and I'm halfway there... Right now, I've tried both safari and Chrome. Chrome isn't even recognized in the Application levels when playing youtube. safari is but there is no levels moving on the CASTER Stream Mix 1 output. Any ideas?
Same here, Im getting latency in logic pro when I select my interface as input and caster (not caster stream1) as output monitoring through headphones.
What do you think about Caster app? Drop a comment below!
Really great video and is very helpful. THANK YOU!!!☺

Most welcome John, glad you enjoyed it!
Great demo.
Thank you!

Same problem here.
Thanks mate.
you did not explain adding input tracks? Could you please advise how to use it?

Can you change the speaker volume via the Mac volume-keys with this app? With Sunflower/Blackhole I can’t.
Yes, you have a volume slider on this app to control either input or output level.
Does it have a mix minus feature for interview modes?
whenever I tap download, it sends me to this weird website. Please let me know how to fix this
What will happen after expiration of trial version? Deactivation of the program isn't excluded ofc. Or just Live features are disabled?
can I route my Pro Tools ind to caster
So if i select discord and mute discord it wont pick up discord audio? Thanks

Hey I have a question. I stream off my MacBook laptop and my stream deck soundboard wnt play on stream will caster help with that ?
The free option long gone.
caster is creating an audio delay for me.

That's why Mac users are dumb why download an external program to just record your internal audio.
You have no idea about Macs 🤣
