  • Today, we announced a project with ‪@Walmart‬
We've always believed Vega™ was an industry-changing innovation, and this collaboration with Walmart, one of the largest retailers in the world, unlocks the first step to transforming how and where garments are made.
This project contributes to our long-term objective of deploying over 350 Vega™ machines throughout North America by 2030. At scale, our vision is to boost textile manufacturing across North America and introduce a cleaner, and more efficient apparel supply chain.
We've never been more convinced that our mission to implement circular and localized manufacturing is the correct path to take, and we're excited that ‪@Walmart‬ believes in our vision too!

    Amazing news! Congratulations!
So far I'm wondering about how different the garments seem to look compared to what conventional garments look like. For my personal adoption, I think they might have to blend in more. I imagine already just weaving the pieces that in conventional manufacturing would be cut (with perhaps the added bonus of getting to eliminate some darts or gussets), and then sewing those together would save a lot of emissions due to there being no fabric waste, and have maybe easier time getting adopted by most consumers.
