Random comedy question: is long-form improv a thing in India at all? I know “Whose Line”-style short-form games and such are, but does anyone do long-form (e.g. Upright Citizens Brigade-style, like the Harold and such)? And are there improv jams? Also, I haven’t been to India in, like, ten years (I’m one of them cheap American-built Indians), but I’m a musician and improviser, and I’ve been wanting to come to Mumbai to check out the comedy and music scenes for a while now, and maybe meet some folks, but I don’t really know anyone in Mumbai. I’m hoping to come to India next year sometime, so if I were to come to the comedy club in Powai, would it be cool for me to come say hi? Would y’all chat with me?
