Silly q maybe mate: what's the difference between getting these or the 520 shoe? What is each one used for alternatively? Thanks for your good content!
Never a silly question, the 520 has sizes 8-12 vs the NCR 3-12, the 520 will take SPD and Road cleats, the NCR is a 3 hole road cleat only. The 520 has Atop dial vs the lifetime guarantee of HABU dials. The sole is more breathable on the NCR with larger vents.
Yes, this is part of the Race range of bikes so will have a racing geometry, this is meant for 'New' riders just getting into racing. Ripe for upgrades when the budget allows.
You can still race on it, the EDR still exists in Alu and Carbon, even though that is the endurance model, it is still considered a racing bike, the biggest difference is in the stack, NCR being shorter/lower, reach is around the same for both.
Love this channel!! Thanks for the great reviews! 👍
Thanks Mj! That is much appreciated!

can you make a review about van rysels new summer short sleeve racer 2 jersey?
It is in the pipeline.
Any chance to review the NCR cf bike with sram rival?
If I can get access to one, yes
@@TheDecathlonMan I've heard despite it's endurance like marketing its geometry is actually longer and lower than even some literal race bikes

@@TheDecathlonMan thanks for the clarification. I thought it directly replaced the previous EDR model, but apparently it's racier

Is the sizing similar to RCR shoes?
Yes, similar, with extra toebox/forefoot room, except this only has the one adjustment dial, so you cannot fine tune fit as much as the RCR.
what about weight? Original wedsite doesn't mention it?
285g in size 9
@@TheDecathlonMan oh. lighter vs Road 520. thanks
