- So the title is pretty much self explanatory, even when you think about it you should normally understand the real reason why, but in this episode I explained my idea why it is stupid to even get close to the idea, not that BTS is an unreachable goal but why when you wanna get to the idea it can fail without even trying!
All I can say that even BTS never set any goal for becoming the group that they are today. They had clear vision for sure but I'm sure their expectation wasn't as clear as their goals but here they are.

i think the main point of her saying to stop trying to find the next bts is to basically, be yourself. she is not saying to stop trying to push yourself to your limits and be big. it is perfectly fine to want to be the next big thing, and it is what all artists should aspire to be. however, they are NEVER going to achieve this if they have the mindset that they want to be the "next bts". it is through BEING YOUR OWN SELF, that you may be able to truly surpass what bts has done. so these other groups and artists should stop trying to find the next bts, and INSTEAD, try to find themselves. in doing so, they are being true to themselves, the music they create, and their fans, and this would hence garner more interest and fans as you are being original.
also, i feel that nobody should ever aspire to be the next someone. yes, you can aspire to have those values, mindsets and talents that other people encompass, but you shouldnt want to become them.
an example: bts has always looked up to taeyang from bigbang and also seo taiji (the first person to be considered making "k-pop" music and be very very big in korea during the 1990s), and also their seniors that they have always only watched on the television before debut. bts has said that they were their role models, and they looked up to them. but they never said that they wanted to be the next bigbang, or the next seo taiji. instead they DREW from the inspiration they got from these seniors and developed their own personal identity and stories that they wanted to tell from it. bts said that they dont want to be the "next beatles", but they want to be the first and only bts. likewise, the other groups and artists should not aim to be the next bts, but be the first themselves, and make waves in the music industry with their own path that they build.
and when the next big musical act, group, or soloist comes, they should NOT be named as successfully being the next bts. rather, they have successfully been able to be their own true self, and should be complemented for finding their own path. just like how bts should be and are being complemented for staying true to themselves and finding their own path, and not for being the "next beatles".
@@its_always_the_7 so true. When obsessing of something or someone to be that in particular is so toxic. But being inspired to do better because of that particular something or someone is just good. Be a better person that its you and not someone else’s.😉

As far as I remember, yoongi had said in that interview that there won't be a "next bts" not because there will never be a group or an artist that is as big as them, but so that people stop saying and forcing their groups to be "the next bts", that there will be a next big group or artist but that they will not apply that title but let them be them, not put them in the shadow of being the next bts. (I don't know if I'm making myself understood, but it's like when he said "it's great to be called the next 'the beatles' but we are bts" something like that), I don't know how to explain it but in a way he asked that they not try to replicate them and let the "next great artists" be the "next great artists", I still don't know if I explained myself well
And actually that's what army wants, just stop posting those "the next bts" article titles (which they do a lot) and just make articles with their artists' achievements without putting bts' name in them when there's no need to be there (also used to get attention, and it's annoying)

The problem is that no one wants to put in the effort. They want to create something just as big and amazing in 1/4th of the time, without any fan loyalty or sincerity from the artists (which is what built bts up in the first place)
There are many groups who are putting in the time and effort. There are many hardworking groups out there. But if you don't give other groups a chance then you are going to think how you are thinking now.
@@starmyatiny5031 I’m not talking about the groups themselves, I’m talking about the labels that relentlessly push these groups out of their own pace by manipulating album sales and extensive media-play.
I listened to many other groups before I decided to stan bts. I just didn’t like the inconsistency in their music. I listen to songs from groups like txt, Epik high, mamamoo, le seerafim; I just don’t stan them.
@@starmyatiny5031 i gave a chance to plenty of groups since 2015 year, i even listened to a few full albums by these groups to look what they can offer beside title tracks. All of these groups' music sucks for me: its either loud noisy trash, either boring sht. There are some songs which were kinda well produced, but the problem was that i never want to relisten to them for the second time. And its not only me, a lot of ARMYs are like this.

To be successful you don't just need hard work, cause if that were the case all poor hardworking people would be rich by now.

SuperM #1 on BB 200 was a pure fraudulent. Let me explain why
Korea has Gaon ( now Circle ) chart - the main chart in Korea which counts digital sales of albums and songs, streaming and physical sales of albums and songs. It counts all of physical sales of albums shipped inside and outside of country if they were manufactured in Korea
SuperM sold 100K+ units in US in first week after release of their album and only 3K of them were from streaming. These sales were suspicious bc even title track didn't crack in hot 100, so people asked Gaon chart representative about how much shipments their album had in US. The answer shocked everyone bc he said that SuperM albums weren't manufactured in Korea since their label, SM, didn't report anything about it to Gaon. It can't be possible since their album was sold on KOREAN stores ( exactly the same amount with which they debuted on bb 200 ).
These guys and their labels robbed Summer Walker of her well deserved #1 on BB200 in hunger for that mediaplay as the next BTS. Even koreans made fun of them for their #1
Authenticity and originality is the key, hardwork find your own door to achieve your dream organically, transparency, honestly and don't ever compare yourself to others ,focus on your own self.self awareness....summarise all...be a real artist in a professional way. As jhope advice to group he guide in dance class " HAVE PASSION AND SINCERITY ON WHAT YOU DO" AND IN THAT YOU'LL BE HAPPY TO PERFORM INFRONT OF YOUR FANS CONFIDENT.
You'll never get 7 the same set of talented humble artist as the men of BTS or a CEO who believed in their abilities and encouraged them to be themselves giving them complete creative freedom. They are lightening in a bottle a once in a generation group of artists. Copycats never do well.
What i understand when she said stop trying to find bts.. Because bts is bts... You dont have to compare bts make your own name in the industry.. Not trying to be the next bts.
From what I've understood, she is saying people don't have to be obsessed with BTS just make themselves big and not just associate BTS with whatever they gonna do in making themselves huge. It's good to always try to get better but be obsessed with something or someone to get big like BTS... Companies can do their own thing without having to use the phrase "next BTS" .
Yes BTS is a concept, that's what Suga said there are no BTS like they were saying that there not the next BEATLES, they were called that but BTS said nope, they don.t want to be called that coz they want to be called the BTS. Companies just have to do their own thing, be huge and be their own name and be the next big thing. "the NExt BTS" just sucks :( they should refrain using that...

And when someone called them the Beatles of the 21st century, they said no. That Beatles are a great band and they would rather be called the BTS of the 21st century, not the Beatles. This I respect. If they had used that mediaplay or agreed to it, it would have not helped and even brought them down some with the general public. But they refused right off.

There will be no next BTS just as there will never be the next Beatles or the next Rolling Stone's or the next Chris Brown etc etc. These are once in a life time artists just like there will never be another Wordsworth or another Shakespear or another Pablo Picasso or the next Claude Monet.

Seriously....are you advocating to copy BTS? This is an encouragement to others to let their artists be themselves without trying to capture the popularity of BTS being their goal. If you listen to the whole thing, it encourages individuality, hard work. It's when the focus is on trying to gain or beat the popularity of not only BTS but any other popular artist for the wrong reasons. That's what this is about, seriously. Artists, true artists know that individuality, hard work and consistency is a must, not trying to copy someone else, take short cuts, pay their way instead of working their way. This is a new take on this for sure, taking things out of context, advocating replication....wow. I think it's weird when people only listen to respond and not to understand, that's when the whole point is missed, things taken out of context because they respond to one or two things rather than the whole thing.

Maybe there will be some popular group or artist but they won't be BTS
BTS is the next BTS and the only BTS
They can't be the next BTS dude, but they can be like BTS, they can be popular like BTS. But they can't be BTS because BTS is BTS. That is what it's mean. Be next and be like are different ideas. If i said, you is the next me and me is the next you do you agree about that? Of course not because i can't be the next you and u can't be the next me that's the fact.
There will be not the next BTS. No one of these groups would pull out 6 #1 on Hot100, not any of them will get the nominations for grammy in 3 years in a row and i dont see any of them reaching BTS numbers in selling physical albums ( BTS sold almost 40M of them and these are only the albums in korean )
I want to recommend Mamamoo Girl group but I'm kinda scared coz that's my fav girl group and Cyrus's standards were only met by the legends of K-pop which is wayyyyyy too high but understandable. To me they are kinda like BTS but being honest they aren't as big because their musical geniuse isn't near BTS but they are genuinly good artists with out-of-the-world vocals.
I've eyed Mamamoo's stage, they're good, performance wise, they eat. I like Hwasa, Hwasa's stage presence and audience commu is not a joke.
Im sorry but i disagree with you in the beginning alot had to go right for bts to meet. Two of the members wasnt planning on trying to be an idol one was picked up from the street because he was handsome. two others was rejected at the first place they tried.
one only chose bighit because another member was at bighit who was one of the ones who was rejected from another place. Then they have their talents one memeber has learned multiple types of dancing that arent very simliar and have training in martial arts which actually helps with core strength.
