Thanks so much for watching! 😊 With this video, we wanted to show you different ways to help your baby gain weight after birth! We hope you find it helpful!
@@tisemgtnrebbi2776 Hi there 😊, believe us when we say: we would LOVE to!! The problem that we have though is that we cannot find someone with a baby who would be willing to produce such a video..... Therefore, we recommend that you get in touch with a midwife or breastfeeding consultant (normally, there are also local breastfeeding support groups). Ideally, someone observes you when you feed your baby so that they can then give you feedback on how to improve the latch... Is this an option where you live?
Thank you so much for tips since I was pregnant i always watching your video until i gave birth my daugther 2024/01/11 until now I watching ❤ from Sweden

I used to follow up with you videos when i was pregnant and it helped me dilated thnx for tht tho i got tears bcz the baby was big but thanks so much. I would like to learn how to help my baby breastfeeding am tired of the clicking sound
Hi there 😊, thanks so much for your lovely feedback!! 😘 We are very happy to hear it! 😊 We do have a few videos on breastfeeding on our channel! Have you already watched them? We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there Shireen 😊, you are MOST WELCOME!! We are really happy and grateful to hear that you find our video and tips helpful! 😊 Exciting times are ahead of you!! You are SO CLOSE to finally meet your sweet little baby! 🥰🥰
Thank you so much guys your concern is really appreciated I just need your help on how to help my baby concentrate when feeling he's one month old but he easily gets distracted even when am feeding him in a room with less objects
Hi there 😊, you are MOST WELCOME! We are very happy if you find our content helpful! 😊 Regarding your question: It's a problem that many women face. And it is not always so easy to find a solution. All you can do is trying to get rid of all possible distractions in the room (which you probably already do). - Dim the lights. - Reduce noise - Remove distracting objects And one thing that has helped some women is: play some calming music OR try white noise.... It can help you calm your baby... Other things that can help is a different breastfeeding position and making sure that you only feed your baby when he is actually hungry (although this can be difficult to determine)... We hope any of this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, you are MOST WELCOME! We are very happy if you find our content helpful! 😊 And thanks so much for the compliment!! It made my day!! 🥰🥰 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there Josephine 😊, we normally massage babies twice a day as a morning and evening routine. How fast you should notice a change really depends on why your baby does not gain weight / gain weight fast enough. If the problem is a gastrointestinal one, we have seen it work quite fast, often within a week or two. Keep in mind that if there are medical conditions that cause the lack of weight gain, or if baby does not get enough milk - for whatever reason - this may not work at all. So, it's always good to have a checkup by a pediatrician as well! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there! 😊 You are MOST WELCOME! We are happy if it helps!! Babies can receive massage treatments at any age. Even premature babies can receive massage treatments, as long as they have been born after week 35... Just please be careful to only apply gentle pressure if your baby is less than 3 months of age, particularly in case of a premature baby! Moreover, please only use oil that is suitable for baby skin, such as coconut oil... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi thanks for the great job.your channel is very useful ,specially for first time mum like me. My baby is not opening her mouth wide for correct latch.so struggle to breastfeed and started formula. Any solution for this? Thank you both again for the effort. Much appreciated. And I love the way you both present
Hi there 😊, thanks SO MUCH for your lovely feedback - it is very much appreciated! We are very happy to hear that you find our videos helpful! 😊😘 Regarding your question: It's a difficult question. To be honest with you, we never had a case like this! Do you know if there is anything that prevents your baby from opening her mouth wide enough? Like, could it be a "lockjaw" or something similar? Also, have you tried different breastfeeding positions? Maybe, another breastfeeding position could help solve the problem? Here are some ideas: th-cam.com/video/sRgAB2sBmVQ/w-d-xo.html Finally, have you talked to a breastfeeding consultant already? They can give you valuable feedback after observing a feeding session. Maybe they can help you? Looking forward to your reply! 😊
Yes i am planning to get an appointment with a lactation consultant. Hopefully it will help.thanks for replying me.pls upload more videos like this.we learn a lot from them.god bless both of u.

Hi there 😊, you are MOST WELCOME!! 😊 Also, thanks so much for your input! Actually, the topic that you propose is already on our list! 😊 So, we will definitely record a video on this topic as soon as possible! In the meantime, we wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
My baby’s birth weight is 3.263 kg. At the age of 2 months her weight was 5.020 kg and the midwife said her growing rate is low. Now she is 2 months and 10 days and now her weight is 5.200 kg. Could you please tell me your opinion about her weight please?
Hi there 😊, actually, when we look at a standard growth chart for baby girls (www.rcpch.ac.uk/sites/default/files/Girls_0-4_years_growth_chart.pdf) the weight of your baby girl is currently more or less exactly where we want it to be - given a birth weight of 3.2kg. So, we don't quite understand the concerns your midwife has? Did she tell you what weight she was expecting your baby to have?
Thank you for your reply. ❤ No, she didn’t mentioned the expected weight for my baby. Instead she said that the weight should be increased by 30g every day and mine is 21.45 which I’m not sure how she calculated it.
@@landofsakura5190 Okay understood! 30g a day is a bit high - in our opinion. The average growth is about 150-200g a week with boys growing a bit faster than girls (at least usually). It probably always depends on who you ask! 😊
Hi there Joyce 😊, please note that, each time you start feeding your baby, the first first milk that flows is always a bit watery. And then the longer you feed your baby, the more of the more fatty milk is gonna flow. Both is required - even the watery milk.... So, please don't worry! 😊
Hi there 😊, thanks a lot for your feedback! We are super happy to hear that you find our video helpful!! 😊 Regarding increasing the level of amniotic fluid: This should only be done in consultation with your doctor. If they see that the level of amniotic fluid is indeed too low, then there are several ways to increase the level: - saline injections through the cervix - L-Arginine supplements - and of course water We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, when looking at the average growth chart, then 4.3kg it is JUST a little bit under the weight of 4.5kg that we would hope for (given a birth weight of 2.5kg). HOWEVER: one has to consider that preterm babies cannot eat that much initially because their stomach is much smaller than a term baby's stomach. So, overall, weight-wise, your baby seems to be doing well! 😊 As always, if you have any concerns about baby's weight or development, please consult with a doctor! Thank you! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@@CareAboutLittleOnes we consulted doctor and he is satisfied with the health and other activities of the baby..but still I’m a little worried about her weight gain🙁..will definitely try the tips you gave👍🏼
Hey there! My babies birth weight is 3.8kg Now she is 2months 10days old and now she is only 5 kgs. Can you give any tips on how to make her gain weight by my diet. And is it normal that she is not gaining weight?
Hi there 😘, it is not normal if your baby is not gaining weight, no. However, not all reasons for that are concerning. Sometimes, there can be harmless reasons why this is happening. However, the first thing you should do is talk with a pediatrician about it! It's important to make sure that it's not medical reasons that cause the lack of weight gain.... Regarding your question: Have you already tried the things we show in this video? We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, great job! Weight-wise, your baby is doing better than what one would anticipate based on the growth chart! 👍 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, it is only understandable that you are worried! But please don't worry too much! 😊 We have seen so many babies will less than your baby's weight. And they are all doing fine these days! Has your doctor recommended additional bottle-feeds to help baby grow faster?
The baby weight is 8.0 kg and he is 6months old , Nowadays he doesn't want to be breast feed and soild food also , I am really worried about him Do you have any recommendations
Hi there! 😊 That's really very kind of you to say!! Thanks SO MUCH for your lovely comment! We are super happy to hear that you like our video!! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, we would expect such babies to have approximately 4.2kg at this stage. It does not mean that anything is wrong. But maybe you can address it with your doctor or midwife.... Thank you! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hello my dear, My baby is 2.5 months old but she is not drinking milk properly. She is on formula milk and drinks only 250 or 300 ml per day. 3 weeks ago her weight was 4kg and now I checked it’s still 4kg. She didn’t even gain 100 of grams. I’m much worried about her. What should I do??
Hi there 😘, the first thing you need to do is take your baby to a pediatrician! It's important to exclude that medical issues are the cause these problems... Thank you! 😘 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, unfortunately, the only way to do that is to wake your baby up. That said, please keep in mind that the most important thing for your baby is to gain weight. If your baby gains weight even though baby is only feeding when awake, you could get away with it. It really depends on baby's condition as a preemie... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, we would expect that a baby boy who had about 3.5kg at birth has about 6.3kg at 3 months. Please note though that this does NOT automatically mean that something is not right! Some babies are just bad eaters. However, we do recommend talking with a pediatrician about it in order to exclude medical reasons... Thank you! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
My baby is a preterm baby born at 35 weeks weighing 2.260 kg and now 17 days old weighing 2.4kg but she is not waking up for every 2_3 hours and only feeds when she wakes up and almost wet 6to 7 diapers .Can u please suggest how to wake up the baby for every 2 to 3 hours as she only drinks when she wakes up and remaining time even if i try to wake her up she s not responding and sleeping.
Hi there 😊, we know this can sometimes be difficult! 😊 What works and what does not work depends a bit on the baby. However, one thing we have found works very well is when you express a few drops of milk and then tickle baby's mouth with that breast. While you do that, talk to your baby, maybe tickle baby a bit. Try it! Maybe this helps! 😊
Hi there 😊, when looking at a standard growth chart, your baby girl seems to be doing well weight-wise! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, given your baby's birth weight, we would expect baby to have about 5.8kg at 4 months. It does not necessarily mean that something is wrong if your baby does not have that weight. However, at least, we would talk with a doctor about it... We hope this helps! 😘 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
I wish I had that information earlier. My child is 5 years now and started loosing weight when she was 4 months old. Even the paediatrician could not help😢😢She is still underweight 😢😢😢
Hi there 😘, we are sorry to hear it! Please note though that we know similar cases that have well recovered later on! So, please don't be worried just yet! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your daughter!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, we would expect a baby boy to have approximately 4.6kg given a birth weight of 2.6kg. This does NOT necessarily mean that something is not right. But maybe, you'd like to talk with a pediatrician about it! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
My baby's birth weight was 2.6kg and at 4th month she's 5.5kg. She looks so small than the other babies at her age. 😢 I'm breastfeeding. Is her weight just normal? Please reply
Hi there 😊, weight-wise, your baby seems to be doing very well! 😊 When it comes to size, we can only tell you this much: not every child is the same size. Look at a school class! Some children are taller, some are smaller. That itself does not tell anything about whether or not your baby is healthy... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi my baby born premuture at 29 weeks because i diagnosed with hepatitis E. His weight was 1.25 kg when he born..at the time of discharge from NICU his weight is 1.5 kg and now he is 15 days old.. Kindly suggest me how he can gain weight.. Waiting for your reply
Hi there 😘, premature babies should be fed at least every 2 hours because their stomach is too small to get enough milk to keep them happy for longer. Do you breastfeed your baby? And if so, do you experience any issues with that?
@@CareAboutLittleOnes I am not breastfeeding him due to insufficient supply of milk or almost lost.. That's why I am super depressed and guilty.. He is on formula milk.. Can you tell formula milk good for preterm babies or not??
@@noorfatema2297 Hi there 😊, you don't have to feel guilty! Formula milk is absolutely okay for preterm babies (there is formula milk that is specifically made for preterm babies). In fact, in case of preterm babies, you often have no other chance than feeding them with formula milk (particularly initially), so that they quickly grow... 😊
Hi there 😊 , we normally expect babies to regain their birth weight 1-2 weeks after birth. There is some research that shows that not all babies do that within 2 weeks. However, even in those cases, we would expect baby's weight to be close at least to its birth weight. This does not seem to be the case when it comes to your baby. Therefore, we do recommend talking with a pediatrician about it (also because your baby has lost more than 10% of its birth weight - even 16 days after birth). So, please, do not hesitate to talk with a doctor about this! Thank you! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
hello I clearly don't know the exact weight of my babygirl after birth, but it can might be 2kg or 2.5 now she is 4.5 months old and her weight is 5.5 kg is my daughter is healthy
Hi there 😘, whether or not your baby is healthy, is something that we - unfortunately - cannot tell you! If you are worried about your baby's health, please do talk with a pediatrician! We can only tell you this much: If your baby girl had between 2 and 2.5kg at birth, we would expect the weight at 4.5 months to be between 4.7kg and 5.2kg. If your baby does not have that weight, it is not necessarily a reason to worry! However, we still recommend talking with a doctor about it... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi my baby birtweight is 3.2 now she is 4 months and 11 days and her weight is 4.8 is she ok.. she drink her formula milk while she is sleeping, she is very hard to be feed, she only drink 12oz per day.. i am so worry.. any help.. i tried so many pedia..
Hi there 😘, we are sorry to hear that! Yes, most babies drink about 28-34 oz per day at 4 months, depending on how frequently they eat... So, there must be a reason why your baby is not drinking... Does she also refuse formula milk most of the times? Or do you "only" have problems to breastfeed her?
Hi there 😊, according to the growth chart, weight-wise, your baby seems to be exactly where she is supposed to be given a birth weight of 2kg 😊 Great job! 😊
Hi there 😊, you have two breasts: put one baby on the left side, and the other one on the right side! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your little ones!! ❤️
My baby birth weight 3.7 kg but now he 2 months old his weight 4.5 kg its normal?? Myself low breastmilk supply😢,not to interest Breastfedding he 5 to 10 minutes latch not properly after slepping every time feeding time Now he is 3 time on formula milk Morning Evening Night Pls reply ??
Hi there ❤️, at a birth weight of 3.7kg, your baby is supposed to have approximate 5.5kg at 2 months. Please note that feeding a newborn baby 3 times a day will not be enough for baby to increase baby's weight as baby is supposed to! A newborn baby needs to feed approximately every 2-4 hours (day and night). So you definitively have to feed your baby more often for baby to gain more weight... We hope this helps! ❤️ We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@@CareAboutLittleOnes sorry my Mistake you are not understanding My low breastmilk supply and My child on day 3 times on taken formula milk and Due whole day he latching breast feeding after 1-2 hours ( i Dont know how his weight gain😒 ) Thank you ☺️
@@sritamakoley5779 Ah okay sorry! 😁 Yes, the problem is that the milk only comes in sometime between day 3 and 5. So having a low milk supply at day 3 is not necessarily a reason to worry as long as the milk comes in later. That said, even with formula milk, your baby should have about a 1kg more at this point...
Hi there 😘, as much as we would like to help, but unfortunately, this is not possible for us in an online setting. 😬 The first thing you need to do is check with a pediatrician if there are medical problems why your baby is not gaining any weight! Second, if you are breastfeeding, check with a midwife or breastfeeding consultant if the latch is correct and/or if there are any other breastfeeding related issues. If nothing works, you may wanna consider switching to bottle feeding. There is no doubt that breast milk is the best nutrition for a baby. However, right now, it is all about helping baby gain weight! We hope this helps at least a little... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, it's very early days for a weight assessment! However, so far, your baby seems to be doing just fine weight-wise when looking at the average weight gain on the growth chart! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, STATISTICALLY, if your previous pregnancy ended up in preterm labor, then there are also higher chances for your pregnancy to end in preterm labor this time. HOWEVER: please note that those are only statistics! It does not mean FOR SURE that your baby will be born prematurely again this time! Therefore, please try not to worry too much at this point! Just observe your body and watch out for the signs of preterm labor (there is a video on our channel about signs of preterm labor)... This will help you recognize the signs IN CASE it will happen again. But otherwise, please don't worry too much! We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, if you believe that your baby is not well, please do not hesitate to take your baby to a pediatrician! Please understand that we cannot tell you anything about your baby's well-being or guide you in an online setting! The first step is a proper checkup by a pediatrician! Thank you! 😘 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, when your baby's weight has dropped from 6.7 to 5.2kg, then something is not right. Please take your baby to a doctor because they need to determine why baby has lost weight! Thank you! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
I started bottle feeding today. When i give formula milk she is gud but after 2 feeding she vomited all milk y??is there problem to sudden change to breastfeeding to milk feeding
Hi there 😘, unfortunately, yes. We have observed this several times. Baby's digestive system may need some time to adjust. That said, in two cases, it was because the formula milk was not correctly prepared. Maybe you want to look into the instructions again to make sure, you prepared it the right way? We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there 😊, actually, growth-wise, your baby seems to be doing just fine! 😊 So, whatever you have been doing so far, it seems to work very well - no need to change anything! Hi there 😊, Congratulations! Your baby moved from the 0.4th centile up to the 25th centile! 🥳 So, whatever you do! Keep doing it! You are doing a fantastic job! ❤️ 👍 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, when looking at the growth chart, one can actually see that your baby girl seems to do just fine: www.rcpch.ac.uk/sites/default/files/Girls_0-4_years_growth_chart.pdf 😊
Hi there 😘, actually, we would expect a baby girl to have a bit more than 6kg right now, given that birth weight. There are not always concerning reasons why baby is not growing as expected. Some babies just grow slower than expected. But we would talk to a doctor, just to make sure that there are no medical reasons why baby is not gaining weight as expected. Also, if you are breastfeeding, consider talking to a midwife or breastfeeding consultant to see, if there is anything to improve about the latch or the feeding process in general... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hii there. My baby weight on birth was 2.5 kg and on 1st month he gained by 3.8 kg now he is 4month and his weight is 4 kg and height is 63cm is that okay??
Hi there 😘, unfortunately, that is a very slow growth rate. Your baby should have about 5.5kg by know. Have you talked with your doctor about baby's slow growth?
Hi there 😊, check this out: here is a standard growth chart that tells you what the expected weight range is for a baby given baby's birth weight: www.rcpch.ac.uk/sites/default/files/Boys_0-4_years_growth_chart.pdf We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there 😘, we feel you! ❤️ There can be medical reasons why a baby is not able to open the mouth wide enough. For example, a tongue-tie. Have you already talked with a doctor about this?
@@CareAboutLittleOnes i checked that out as well...see I after birth I breastfed and expressed extra will but in the last 2 weeks I gave him more from the bottle than from the breast coz the latching wasnt that good to start with but is over all weight went from 2.4kg at birth to 5kg at 6 weeks which i love but for the past 3days he seems to refuse to take the breast at all and my concern is that it my breast now feels much lighter even expressing less milk
@@gabriellafarmer3449 I see. Well, first of all, when looking at his growth, you have clearly been doing a fantastic job so far! What we sometimes observe is that when you offer them both, the breast and the bottle, they start refusing the breast at some point because it is easier for them to drink from the bottle. This does not always happen, but sometimes it does. The other problem is that when you additionally bottle-feed the baby with formula milk and your baby starts to drink more milk from the bottle, your body believes that the demand for milk has decreased. As a result, it will produce less milk. However, as soon as your baby is back to breastfeeding, NORMALLY, your body should continue producing more milk. So, maybe, if you continue breastfeeding, things will go back to normal (both feeding- and milk supply-wise)?😊
Hi there 😊, there is a simple way to track the progress of your baby's growth yourself and also, if it is normal or not: Look at the growth chart of your baby (there should be one in your hospital folder). Whenever you get your baby's weight, make a note on the growth chart. Based on that, you can evaluate if baby's growth is within the expected range. Keep in mind: what you want to see is a gradual increase of your baby's weight. What you don't want to see is either a drop in baby's weight or that your baby did not gain weight... Try it! It will give you peace of mind! We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
My baby's birth weight was 2.7 kg now at 4 weeks she's at 3.6kg so I guess her growth is ok. But for the past 2 days she's only feeding for 5 minutes especially at night, 5 min feeds and then 2 hours of sleep. Sometimes she doesn't want to feed even after 3 hours. I hope she grows out of this pattern soon, I'm worried sick.
Hi there 😘, first of all, given the weight gain during the first month, you can give yourself a pat on your back because apparently, you are doing a great job feeding your baby! 👍 😊 We totally understand that you are worried sick about what you observe right now. However, such things are often only just phases that will pass eventually. And there can be many reasons for that. For example, maybe your baby has tummy issues and is therefore not hungry. By the way: if it IS tummy issues, you could try this treatment: th-cam.com/video/osQtHkAaLaI/w-d-xo.html It balances baby's digestive system and can often help to get rid of tummy problems and eventually the feeding problem. That said, whatever it is, the most important thing is that your baby keeps gaining weight. Therefore, please don't hesitate to talk to a doctor in case you believe that something is not right with your baby - health-wise... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
My baby is now 4 months old but her weight is still in 5.3 kg.. she is fully breastmilk...she is skinny baby , but she poop regularly. I already consult to her pedia and her pedia advice to give the baby a multivitamins .
Hi there 😊, do you mean "softer breast" from a breastfeeding point of view (i.e. that you don't have enough milk) or from a "saggy breasts" point of view?
Hi there 😘, please note that spitting up should not be a cause for lack of weight gain. The overall tendency should always be that baby is gaining weight. So, if your baby is not gaining weight, we wholeheartedly recommend talking with a pediatrician about it... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there Aysha 😊, have you tried to feed her in a more upright position? Here is a video which gives you some ideas that could help: th-cam.com/video/sRgAB2sBmVQ/w-d-xo.html Also, it could be required to keep her upright for some time after you fed her. How long very much depends on your baby, but we would keep her upright for at least 10 minutes... Hello there ! My baby complete 4 months from today and she is 5900 gram. Her birth weight is 3036 gram. I always struggle to feed her. I am doing both breastfeeding and formula but she only stick 5 mint on my breast or drink only 60/80 ml of milk sometimes she totally refuse both. She even refuse after 4/5 hours of long gap.
Hi , my baby on breastfeed,1month old is sleeping most of the time taking feed about max 10 to 15 only every 2.5 to 3hours gap, Even if i try to feed him in regular intervals like every 2hours ,he is not opening his mouth at all. He is not crying. Is baby satisfied? Baby getting all the nutrients? How to treat this kind of babies. Please reply
Hi there 😊, please note that if your baby feeds every 2.5 to 3 hours, that's great! We had cases of babies who only ate every 5 hours - which was a problem. However, in general, a gap of 2 to 3 hours is great! The most important thing to do is to make sure baby gains weight and that you see at least 5 wet diapers per day... That said, as always, if you have any concerns about your baby, please talk with a pediatrician! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, there are subtitles in all our videos. 😊 But you may have to enable them! Hello, My boy baby born on jan23 with 3.420 weight...now he is one month old now his weight is 3.3... He always want to be feed....In one day I feed him almost 12 hours...so I checked myself whether Iam having enough milk by pressing my breast with my hand....when I press my breast milk is coming drop by drop...so I think problem is mine...but he is wetting 10 times and also releasing sufficient motion....so I don't know what to do....please help me
Hi there 😘, in that case, the first thing to do really is see a doctor! A doctor needs to confirm that there are no medical issues why your baby is actually losing weight - so please do that first! And then if there are no medical reasons, we would talk to a breastfeeding consultant or midwife about your breastfeeding. That said, if your baby wets so many diapers a day, then we cannot imagine that the problem is related to breastfeeding. If he would not get enough milk, he would not be able to wet so many diapers... Therefore, please talk with a doctor first to exclude medical reasons - thank you! We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@@CareAboutLittleOnes Thank you so much for spending your precious time to answer my doubts....you both are so down to earth person 💗once again thanks alot
Hi there 😘, actually, when the birth weight is 3.4kg, we would expect a baby boy to have about 5kg right now. How does the breastfeeding go? Is your baby eating well?
Thanks so much for watching! 😊 With this video, we wanted to show you different ways to help your baby gain weight after birth! We hope you find it helpful!
@@tisemgtnrebbi2776 Hi there 😊,
believe us when we say: we would LOVE to!!

Thank you so much guys your concern is really appreciated I just need your help on how to help my baby concentrate when feeling he's one month old but he easily gets distracted even when am feeding him in a room with less objects
Hi there 😊,
you are MOST WELCOME! We are very happy if you find our content helpful! 😊
Regarding your question:
It's a problem that many women face. And it is not always so easy to find a solution. All you can do is trying to get rid of all possible distractions in the room (which you probably already do).
- Dim the lights.
- Reduce noise
- Remove distracting objects
And one thing that has helped some women is: play some calming music OR try white noise.... It can help you calm your baby...
Other things that can help is a different breastfeeding position and making sure that you only feed your baby when he is actually hungry (although this can be difficult to determine)...
We hope any of this helps! 😊

How often should i apply this massage to my baby? And how soon should I notice a change in baby ?
Hi there Josephine 😊,
we normally massage babies twice a day as a morning and evening routine.
Thank you Soo much...how old should the baby be for the massage
Hi there! 😊
You are MOST WELCOME!

It's a difficult question.
Here are some ideas: th-cam.com/video/sRgAB2sBmVQ/w-d-xo.html

My baby’s birth weight is 3.263 kg. At the age of 2 months her weight was 5.020 kg and the midwife said her growing rate is low. Now she is 2 months and 10 days and now her weight is 5.200 kg. Could you please tell me your opinion about her weight please?
Hi there 😊,
actually, when we look at a standard growth chart for baby girls (www.rcpch.ac.uk/sites/default/files/Girls_0-4_years_growth_chart.pdf) the weight of your baby girl is currently more or less exactly where we want it to be - given a birth weight of 3.2kg.
So, we don't quite understand the concerns your midwife has? Did she tell you what weight she was expecting your baby to have?
Thank you for your reply. ❤
No, she didn’t mentioned the expected weight for my baby.
Hi..my baby was 2.6 on birth now 10weeks 4.9 are we good ihv alot of milk but watery
Hi there Joyce 😊,
please note that, each time you start feeding your baby, the first first milk that flows is always a bit watery. And then the longer you feed your baby, the more of the more fatty milk is gonna flow. Both is required - even the watery milk....
So, please don't worry! 😊
Awesome awesome we get clear idea from yu👍😍keep rocking pls let us know about how to increase amniotic fluid in early 3rd trimester
Hi there 😊,
thanks a lot for your feedback! We are super happy to hear that you find our video helpful!! 😊
Regarding increasing the level of amniotic fluid:
This should only be done in consultation with your doctor. If they see that the level of amniotic fluid is indeed too low, then there are several ways to increase the level:
- saline injections through the cervix
- L-Arginine supplements
- and of course water
We hope this helps! 😊

Hi, my baby is 20 days pre term baby with a birth weight of 2.5kgs..now she is 3 months old and her weight is 4.3kgs..Is it normal?
Hi there 😊,
when looking at the average growth chart, then 4.3kg it is JUST a little bit under the weight of 4.5kg that we would hope for (given a birth weight of 2.5kg).
HOWEVER: one has to consider that preterm babies cannot eat that much initially because their stomach is much smaller than a term baby's stomach.
So, overall, weight-wise, your baby seems to be doing well! 😊
As always, if you have any concerns about baby's weight or development, please consult with a doctor!
Thank you! 😊

@@noorfatema2297 Hi there 😊,
you don't have to feel guilty! Formula milk is absolutely okay for preterm babies (there is formula milk that is specifically made for preterm babies).
In fact, in case of preterm babies, you often have no other chance than feeding them with formula milk (particularly initially), so that they quickly grow...

Hi my baby girl birth weight is 3.1kg but after 16 days shie has 2.7kg weight is it normal
Hi there 😊 ,
we normally expect babies to regain their birth weight 1-2 weeks after birth.
Thank you! 😊

I clearly don't know the exact weight of my babygirl after birth, but it can might be 2kg or 2.5

Hi there 😘,
whether or not your baby is healthy, is something that we - unfortunately - cannot tell you!

Hi there 😘,
we are sorry to hear that! Yes, most babies drink about 28-34 oz per day at 4 months, depending on how frequently they eat... So, there must be a reason why your baby is not drinking...

We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@@CareAboutLittleOnes sorry my Mistake you are not understanding
My low breastmilk supply and My child on day 3 times on taken formula milk and Due whole day he latching breast feeding after 1-2 hours ( i Dont know how his weight gain😒 )
Thank you ☺️
@@sritamakoley5779 Ah okay sorry! 😁
Yes, the problem is that the milk only comes in sometime between day 3 and 5. So having a low milk supply at day 3 is not necessarily a reason to worry as long as the milk comes in later.
That said, even with formula milk, your baby should have about a 1kg more at this point...
Hii. My baby born at 36 weeks with birth weight 2.37 kgs.. now she is 3 months old but not gaining weight . She is 3.3 kgs now. Pls help
Hi there 😘,
as much as we would like to help, but unfortunately, this is not possible for us in an online setting. 😬
The first thing you need to do is check with a pediatrician if there are medical problems why your baby is not gaining any weight!

Hi, what's her weight now?
Hai my baby birth weight is 2.078kg after 1 month his weight is 2.45 kg, he is a full term baby and I’m breastfeeding him, is it normal?
Hi there 😊,
it's very early days for a weight assessment! However, so far, your baby seems to be doing just fine weight-wise when looking at the average weight gain on the growth chart!

Sir my 1st pregnancy is premature 34week now i am pregnant can my 2nd baby is premature pls ans
Hi there 😊,
STATISTICALLY, if your previous pregnancy ended up in preterm labor, then there are also higher chances for your pregnancy to end in preterm labor this time.

Hi there 😘,
if you believe that your baby is not well, please do not hesitate to take your baby to a pediatrician!
Please understand that we cannot tell you anything about your baby's well-being or guide you in an online setting! The first step is a proper checkup by a pediatrician!

Is your baby feeding well?
@@CareAboutLittleOnes ok ... Thank u for reply me...
I started bottle feeding today. When i give formula milk she is gud but after 2 feeding she vomited all milk y??is there problem to sudden change to breastfeeding to milk feeding
Hi there 😘,
unfortunately, yes. We have observed this several times. Baby's digestive system may need some time to adjust.
That said, in two cases, it was because the formula milk was not correctly prepared. Maybe you want to look into the instructions again to make sure, you prepared it the right way?

😊
Hello i am really concerned about my baby as her birth weight was 2764kg and now she is 6 months ols and her weight is 5576kg . Is it normal
Hi there 😘,
actually, we would expect a baby girl to have a bit more than 6kg right now, given that birth weight.

I have a 7week old and i breastfeed problem is i cant get him to open his mouth wide enough to create a proper latch which is causing alot of winds and now he does not want to take the breast at all please help😢
Hi there 😘,
we feel you! ❤️
There can be medical reasons why a baby is not able to open the mouth wide enough.

My baby birth weight 2.250 now 48 days old 3.200 kg is it normal or increase her weight pls help me
Hi there 😊,
there is a simple way to track the progress of your baby's growth yourself and also, if it is normal or not:
Look at the growth chart of your baby (there should be one in your hospital folder).

Hi there 😘,
first of all, given the weight gain during the first month, you can give yourself a pat on your back because apparently, you are doing a great job feeding your baby! 👍 😊
We totally understand that you are worried sick about what you observe right now. However, such things are often only just phases that will pass eventually. And there can be many reasons for that. For example, maybe your baby has tummy issues and is therefore not hungry.
By the way: if it IS tummy issues, you could try this treatment: th-cam.com/video/osQtHkAaLaI/w-d-xo.html
It balances baby's digestive system and can often help to get rid of tummy problems and eventually the feeding problem.
That said, whatever it is, the most important thing is that your baby keeps gaining weight. Therefore, please don't hesitate to talk to a doctor in case you believe that something is not right with your baby - health-wise...

Hi there 😘,
what was your baby's birth weight?

do you mean "softer breast" from a breastfeeding point of view (i.e. that you don't have enough milk) or from a "saggy breasts" point of view?
My baby spite a lot and I think this is why she is not gaining weight
Hi there 😘,
please note that spitting up should not be a cause for lack of weight gain. The overall tendency should always be that baby is gaining weight.
So, if your baby is not gaining weight, we wholeheartedly recommend talking with a pediatrician about it...

My baby is now 3 months old she is not fatty baby yet . Still exclusively on breastfeeding. Her weight is 6 kg. Gaining weight slowly. She spits alot of milk curdled, only water and as it is . She don’t sleep at night. Pediatrician recommended vitamin D and Iron . I give her daily. Now she sleeps longer stretches at night . I don’t know what to do with her milk spitting? @care about little ones please help me
Hi there Aysha 😊,
have you tried to feed her in a more upright position? Here is a video which gives you some ideas that could help: th-cam.com/video/sRgAB2sBmVQ/w-d-xo.html
Also, it could be required to keep her upright for some time after you fed her. How long very much depends on your baby, but we would keep her upright for at least 10 minutes...
Finally, please keep in mind that the spitting will get better over time as her esophageal sphincter muscles develop.
We hope this helps! 😊

He is not crying. Is baby satisfied? Baby getting all the nutrients? How to treat this kind of babies. Please reply
Hi there 😊,
please note that if your baby feeds every 2.5 to 3 hours, that's great!

He always want to be feed....In one day I feed him almost 12 hours...so I checked myself whether Iam having enough milk by pressing my breast with my hand....when I press my breast milk is coming drop by drop...so I think problem is mine...but he is wetting 10 times and also releasing sufficient motion....so I don't know what to do....please help me
Hi there 😘,
in that case, the first thing to do really is see a doctor!
