    So I have been very kindly gifted a set of Tape in Hair extensions by Doores Hair, the same company who previously gifted me my clip in extensions that I love and have raved about ever since.
    I'm quite well versed in all extension types and have always installed them myself and this time was no exception.
    Today's video is a chatty install the hair with me as I guide you through each step and what I find tricky or easy to do and why.
    To install the hair you will need of course the hair in your chosen shade, a rat tail comb, an abundance of different clips plus some 'tape extension remover oil' in case of any pieces being placed incorrectly or too tight to the scalp.
    I hope you all find this video informative and helpful and I'll see you in the next video.

    You did really good putting them in the back, which is quite the skill! I used to do my own individual keratin extensions for years and years, it would take about 10 hours for a full fresh set but I used to watch youtube while I did them and drink wine lol. Then I would cut them myself and get my husband to do the back and it looked professional, even my hairdresser was impressed.

      I’m the same, I’ve always done my own, I usually wear nano tips and do that all by feel, takes about 6 hours to do those usually ☺️

    I just received mine today, I got the clip-ins because they are so unbelievably thin where the clip is which makes them practically invisible. I actually got them for when I put my hair up to give more length to my curls. I wish I would have seen your video as I would have used your link. I did get the 20% discount and that is a really generous discount they offer for the outstanding quality. I got the full set, but since they are for my updo I will try putting them in upside down. I saw someone do that and it looked good. The color match was perfect, I got the 16/22 which is light blonde and golden blonde. Can't wait to try them out! Lovely to see you again! Haven't seen you since the vacation video with all the lovely elephants! I trust you are happy post-surgery, I never regretted getting mine lol. xx

      Yes you can definitely put them in for an up do, the best way is in a circle around your crown area if you’re wearing them up high. Flipping your hair over the front makes that easier too. I’m really well, been very busy in the garden planting my veggies! Have created a vlog for that so will be posting that in the next few days ☺️

      What are you using to curl?
      If you have permanent extensions. I recommend no heat curling so the hair quality stays as good for as long as possible.
      So the tights method or Bathrobe etc

    I’m not sure I could do a job as fantastic as you do, but my hair has gotten so thin over the years I’d love to add thickness, not length for me as I like mine short but I sure miss thicker hair. It looks fab by the way and some of your tips were great x

      It takes a bit of getting used to the reverse view and hand movement thing but once you’ve done that it’s pretty simple. Just long winded if doing it by yourself.

    Question: can you wear your hair up with tape ins?

    • @christinagracewhite
      @christinagracewhite  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can as long as you leave enough hair beneath the extensions at the bottom

    This is such a great video. You are so pretty. Question, you mentioned in one of the comments that you usually use the nano rings, which one is your favorite between the nano ring and the tape ins? I have had both and I feel like the nano rings pull my hair a lot. I’m curious to know what you think.

    • @christinagracewhite
      @christinagracewhite  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I just use clip ins now or a 3/4 human hair wig when needed.
      Both Nano and tape ins pulled on my hair.

      I didn’t keep them in unfortunately as the blonde extensions were very dry after washing which I brought up with the brand and they’re looking to address.

      Indeed but I enjoy learning and achieving new skills by doing it myself. I don’t tend to pay other people to do things I enjoy doing myself just because I can afford it. I’ll do that when I’m old and incapable.
