- Finally got another Record in this category as I had been in a big drought since the last one. Pretty happy with this World Record for now as I have other things I want to achieve in Horizon Zero Dawn before Horizon Forbidden West launch on PC but I will be back in to this category in the future to get a 2:25 or lower.

I'm not a gamer, and before I stumbled on your videos, I'd never watched a Speedrun in my life. I didn't even know what it was. As an Amsterdam native, I loved seeing a locally produced game destroyed by someone genuinely skilled. After that, I looked forward to, and thoroughly enjoyed, your first playthrough of Horizon Forbidden West. Never commented before on your channel, but it's awesome to see your vids on my recommended page again. Congrats on another WR!

Watched some speedruns of yours 2-3 years ago (HZD), these are just fantastic. Write this comment to point out your insane skill level and show appreciacion for this marvelous game. Was not expecting new HZD speedrun to show up, but turned out to be a blessing, thanks a lot! (Still waiting to the HFW on pc and then get back to your speedruns of the second part!)

I missed seeing these HZD runs. It’s interesting to see different strategies being implemented between HZD and HFW like roll vs sliding
Hi Elk, congratulations on the new record! Sorry for off topic, just wanted to share news about a strange bug I found today. (Although I am almost sure you already know, with your kind of experience with this game). After you slide down the cable into the Grave Hoard, you can use the same cable to "slide" back up into the room with fallen marines, if you jump back on it at the very end. So Aloy can actually "override gravity" sometimes -- Sylens would be pissed :)
P..S. I am playing PC version .
Hey, man, I get most of your speedrunning starts, but why do you shoot your mounts before cutscenes? Just for fun or does it give you some benefits? For example at 49:33

hey elk are you going to make a update about your loadout in FW? im sorry if you already covered it i just didnt find a video or a hint somewhere
Been a while since I have done NG+ in HFW so a lot of the strats I used are a bit outdated. Will make a proper updated video on the weapons when I return to HFW (Around the time HFW comes out on PC). In the mean time I can recommend GreedyOldKa or Bdud5 videos on it since they are up date afaik.
