Great run despite having to reboot your router. The convo/chat was fun - food being the most talked about! Learned that Elk hates Pizza Hut in Sweden. 🙂 I went to a Pizza Hut in the Philippines a few years ago and their pizza was like flavored cardboard. Here in the States Pizza Hut is decent. A lot of it has to do w/ the flour used.

i got the game for christmas and blindly went trough it for the lat 3 days. i 100% completed it and immediately felt that those challenge level were speedrunners nightmare. they even put a dent on my mental health i think lol. i needed to find a speedrun to see what it look like when it look easy. i must say i am amazed at your skills on such a new game. i am now a fan. dont give up you are awesome!

3:21:40 Ultra casual player here: I'm a quadriplegic so I play the game with only my mouth using a Quadstick. I didn't even realize there was a timer because I was so focused during the fight, although I died a few times before the first wave spawned. I completed a New Game+ Ultra Hard playthrough this week with the help of Elk's NG+UH runs. Very cool, thanks for all the tips.

If I remember correctly, one good strategy in that troublesome hunting trial was to immediately override the ravager which is near the end of the left zipline as you slide down. While it fights and distracts other machines, you disarm the thunderjaw and deal with the other ravager. Then at last kill the overriden one (by then, usually with significantly decreased health bar) to complete the trial. Might need to grab a second disc launcher if the first one is out of ammo.

I was accidentally spoiled not long ago before I started Gemini quest, normally I don’t really mind any spoilers but this time about Varl’s death was really the one spoiler that I was so shocked about and wished I had never been spoiled. (Or better be, Varl will not die like this, this one single hit can hardly call it a fight. That’s just so dumb)

I have had many freeze ups of this game. I cannot get it to play again unless I restart my pc. I am using Alienware M18r2 with rtx4070 video card, I9 cpu 14900H..Settings are default. Have you had problems like this?

I don't understand all this complaining about the ultra hard prices. It forces you to be resourceful and to plan out your moves instead of instantly fixing all your problems by throwing money at them. Also "patching it" makes it sound like a bug, when it's clearly an intentional game design decision. There is nothing to patch here. Also also calling this game grindy and it being fixed in Forbidden West while conveniently omitting Forbidden West's upgrade system from the discussion is very hypocritical.
