@@uc6758 SNSD JP discography is so f*cking great. but their KR wasn't bad actually. their KR discography is good too. but f(x) and RV had better KR discography.
in ReVeluv world, when someone say "This b-side should be a title track!" then it'll be an endless discussion 😭 for real there're so so many Red Velvet's b-sides deserve to be a title track.
Pose such a cool song...and as it's made for B-side, I think it's perfect for their colorful dischography. And agree with Ummu queendom such a tittle track material, from the message the lyrics and concept
Isn't being better musically by far the most important, though? I will still loop a banger with a choreo I don't like or concept I don't vibe with, but I will never touch a bad song regardless of anything else it does well. I'd assume this is especially true for non-stans, since they don't have the connection with the group that might otherwise keep them watching the video, even for a mediocre song, and if you're not doing well with non-stans you're not going to grow. I love Pose and listen to it frequently. I listened to Queendom once or twice, decided I didn't like it, and haven't touched it since. Same for Feel My Rhythm; haven't touched it since my first couple listens but meanwhile I'm looping Rainbow Halo. Plus, you can apply a huge variety of concepts to any song. They could easily have gone bigger and in another conceptual direction if Pose had been the title and gotten those resources behind it.
i think pose is definitely a title track worthy song in itself but i don‘t think any other song but queendom should‘ve been the tt for this album. queendom is just so rich and theatrical and kinda dramatic in the best way and soo red velvet title track like? that i can‘t even imagine it as a bside when i listen to it. i could imagine pose as a tt but not for this album
True ! Also since it's the return of the queens after 1 year and 8 months, the song is like a statement for K-pop to know about the legacy of these 5 awesome women !!
For me queendom fits the title track. Just like umu said queendom and pose is like a beautiful pair but concept and musix wisr you can do more with queendom.
@@dilfhunter19 sorry just randomly butting in but I generally love it when people have varying opinions on their fave RV b-side bc for me, it shows how great and vast their discography is that there's an rv song fit for anyone and everyone

Queendom vs Pose *for me* it's Look vs Peek-A-Boo all over again haha Pose is a great song and at release I listened to it more than I listened Queendom, but since then- I've been craving Queendom _so much more_ and *I never get tired of it*. That's the thing for me. Queendom has that "replay" factor that a title track should have imho, Pose not so much. :3

Yup,,,queendom is really best for title track bcoz it's LSS type, pose is good too but pose is more of b-side type kind of jam songs than queendom a bang in head and body kind of..
What's a Red Velvet comeback without the luvies discussion of "which song should be the title track" 😂 And I honestly love it so much (except ofc for those who just throw unnecessary hate) because these discussions just further prove that there is nothing better in kpop that RV discography
For the situation Red Velvet was encountering after Psycho (Wendy's accident, Irene's issue), I think Queendom is the suitable one...its more like a safer track for coming back. The reaction is good and safe. If Pose is a title track, some people (esp. korean audience) may not accept this kind of comeback and sound (more experimental and complicated) after a long time and those unfriendly comments about Irene.
Regarding the video: Thank you for powering through so many technical challenges and bringing this reaction to us! I also wouldn't mind hearing a ten minute discussion on Red Velvet title track choices... Regarding the discussed music: I really like these three songs! 'Pose' is great fun, I feel like it is most successful in exploring microtonality out of the bunch of songs that did lately - the synths, the singing, they all move around in a weird way, and then there is the amazing contrast to the harmonic chorus part. I also love how they keep the 4th scale degree prolonged in the chorus over all kind of other harmonies, including the 3rd. 'Knock On Wood' is a perfect song for me. Nothing more to say, I just love every single sound and decision the writers made in that song. It's also a perfect way to calm down after the confusion of 'Pose'. 'Better Be' is the highlight from a musical perspective for me (My ændreas, we love you~!). Really weird Harmony, chromatic, pleasant sounds throughout, and at the same time a real banger. I groove so hard to this song... On the topic of 'Pose' vs 'Queendom': Concept-wise, I get why 'Queendom' is the title track. But as a song, 'Pose' feels much more like a Red Velvet comeback. And since I am not the greatest fan of QD, I would have preferred 'Pose'. [Warning - wishful thinking ahead!] I think that 'Better Be' should have been the title track. I mean, if they did 'One of these Nights', they can do 'Better Be'. Would have been an awesome summer bop. xD
have to agree w/ umu on this! i feel like queendom is such an iconic title track that fitting it into a bside would feel strange? like pose is amazing, one of my top 10 red velvet bsides and my favorite on the album, but queendom just had that catchiness that really fits a title track. it has a great message, is easily catchy and has what a lot of artists and companies want to include these days which is a fairly not-that-hard point dance for people to learn to post on tiktok, twitter, etc : D it feels engineered (in the best way possible and w/ no offense whatsoever) to be a perfect title that gets u hooked on rv's vocals and then intrigued to hear the bsides. pose coming right after queendom makes sense too bc its almost like "queens
I get the title track feeling more from Queendom, but I’ve seen enough off-meta choices for title tracks in the past that either could work and succeed with the right promotions! And on the topic of Pose, I think the risers in the prechorus really sell this whole “you’re riding up this elevator and it’s somehow going faster each second” vibe, especially with the “ding!” bells at the start and end of the first half of the prechorus. As for the reaction/review video itself, the tight editing is fantastic and both of your insights are always such a pleasure to hear!
I'm on Umu's side 😂 I love Pose but Queendom carries some emotional weight, specially after the 2 year hiatus, when I first read the lyrics I cried and... that's why it's perfect as the title track, besides it's catchy af
I agree with Emma that pose fits better as bside, it reminds me to a lot zimzalabim, verses based on base and production and the chorus its so sing-able and major
as pose is one of my favs and many reveluvs favs off the new album i think queendom was a sweet and refreshing title track to reunite us with red velvet after such a long time
I'm still really amazed how music majors knows where the key at just by listening to a song. And yeah, you finally dropped your reaction video to the greatest and best album of the year.
Ahhh yesss, it totally is a throwback feel of Blue Lemonade (which I love so much). Totally, on Better Be it's a lot of repetition and rhythmic stuff that feels familiar, but the choooords and the liiiines make it soooo interesting.
The title track discussion is permanent in Red Velvet Discography. I can think of about 20 b-sides that are title track material in RV's discography. That's one of the main charecteristic of them. The best discography in Kpop. It doesn't matter your fandom, Red Velvet dominates the playlist by volume.
I support Pose as a title track, I like Queendom but if Pose is already iconic as a bside it could also be an amazing title track, I wouldn't personally compare them to Look and Peek-a-boo
I think they meant how a lot of ppl liked Look and wanted it to be the title track instead of peekaboo. Same situation here where many wanted Pose to be the title. They’re not comparing the songs themselves
Queendom is literally a statement maker for the return of Red Velvet after 1 year and 8 months to the world of K-pop. So, I believe it fits perfectly as a title track than Pose which I feel is simply about a song about confidence, which I feel we've seen quite a lot in Kpop. It may not have as many changes as Pose, but it did feel complete :)
I totally agree witb the girl but cannot object him too because both of them said is true. Pose can be a title track too but Queendom yet deserved :)) bcoz the lyrics and concept
I personally think Pose is such a good song that it deserves more exposure...but I agree Queendom is the better choice for a title track because it was clearly meant for that, choreography-wise, chorus-wise.
i agree that pose should remain as a bside! rv's just returned after their long hiatus, so the way they approached their comeback album concept would be crucial in reintroducing the public to them and getting the hype for them rolling. a strong album concept would be needed, and the title track basically establishes an album/era's concept --which is why queendom is a great comeback title bc it's exactly what it offers: a strong mood/concept :DD and tbh, because queendom isnt as ""strong"" musically (public friendly) as pose is, and similarly pose isn't as ""strong"" concept-wise (in-depth) as queendom is, they balance each other well. pose being a bside lets its strong musicality shine, and queendom being chosen as a title lets its concept shine. it thus feels much more strong as a promotional duo and the comeback feels more polished too. if they'd been switched around instead, it'd feel kinda like trying to reach for something but falling short (??), since you'd probably be able to sense the aspects that they individually lack much more clearly. (( i do think, though, that pose would work great as a repackage title track! after rv is on everyone's radar again, the concept doesnt have to be as intricate. plus they'd have people anticipating the new songs, so having something very bold/earwormy would satisfy them a lot imo and serve as a perfect round-up to the era imo. ))
I think queendom is a great song to comeback with especially with Wendy’s and irene’s incident. Pose is confident and I feel like people will over analyze it on irene’s incident while queendom is very encouraging and people will see it more in light of Wendy coming back, strong and beautiful.
Pose would have been a skip if it were a title track and and queendom too if it were a b-side. Queendom is perfect for the title track!! It's just like the nct's sticker and lemonade debate.
I LOVE “Pose,” but I think it’s better as a B-side. I also feel like it sounds more f(x)-ish than Red Velvet’s usual style so as a title track it wouldn’t have worked for me. “Queendom” is understated, but absolutely beautiful with vocals for days and a strong message.
the way i’m scremed when umu compared knock on wood to blue lemonade bc that’s what i’ve been thinking all this time and how it fits in the summer magic album. 😭😭😭
I think Queendom is perfect as the title track especially after the long hiatus. It brings so much more feelings to the listener, or to someone who is probably waiting for them a lot. Pose is a fun song though. I love it as a b-side, but it would probably be a good JP comeback title track.
i agree when Umu said that pose fit more to be red velvet's b side than tittle track. although me, my self love pose more than queendom, but just like what Umu said, pose are giving so much familiar vibes to us (their casual album's listener). pose really make us feel like 'is this really a new song? but why its feels familiar? but it is a new song!' You can't just deny that pose is red velvet's song. and i think that's the reason why pose becoming the 2nd track and got promoted along with queendom. because it is red velvet's song. but still, because they are red velvet, pose doesnt have any plus point to be a tittle track for red velvet. this song feel too safe for red velvet to became their tittle track. beside, this comeback are their first comeback after their long hiatus, singing some song about posing and feel themselves doesnt sound right. and they do their comeback in summer means it times for 'red concept', and pose surely doesnt fit any summer nor red velvet's red concept. and i also think that promoting pose but make it just as a b side not double tittle track are a good choice. because people will also do some debate about how red velvet's b side always worth it to be tittle track, how red velvet's song can become a tittle track for another group, etc. you know, there is a reason why the members and fans always proud to call red velvet as b-sides masters😜
Queendom was a good - albeit a bit safe - title track for the big, long-awaited Red Velvet comeback. Pose should have been the title of the repackage we didn’t get.
OMG yaaaassss thank you Umu for pushing through to upload. Hopefully this won't get taken down. You're my reliable source to get professional review from my faves.
pose is an awesome song (one of my fave rv b-sides), but queendom makes so much sense as a title track (classic red rv title track) so I agree with you umu
I half agree with Umu and half agree with Sean too. I'm standing where Pose should have been the SECOND TITLE TRACK like Naughty to Monster in Aseul era
I do agree with Umu in the sense that I feel like pose is better as a b-side than as a title track, but I also agree with Sean in the sense that pose deserves more attention. I know red velvet doesn't really do mvs vor b-sides, but that would be really nice I think. And they could have promoted pose more in my opinion just like Umu said with look.
For Pose i would gladly accept if this song being a title track, but.. I'm agree with what Umu said, this is the reason why Red Velvet have the best discography in kpop history !!
I love Pose but i agree with Umu Queendom is the perfect tt it’s just like Aseul sub unit naughty is a better song than monster but monster showcased the versatility of red velvet concept wise
Pose is super dynamic and catchy, but I do like Queendom better as a title track because of the meaning of the song and all the things they did for the concept Tbh, a lot of red velvet songs have a title track quality, but not all can be so Btw, thank you for this reaction ❤️
I think Pose should have been the title track. I like Queendom, but when I think about RV's singles discography it doesn't really come to my mind as one of their most memorable hits. IMO it wasn't the loooong HYPED comeback I was expecting from them. It felt kinda safe as single. However, if Pose had been the title track, I would have gone crazy in excitement cuz it's the kind of crazy/unexpected thing I love from them. I always imagine a weird but sassy MV for it 🤩
Pose could be title track but if it is in the same album with Queendom. Queendom is more suitable as title track due to its concept and its name. The concept arts and other things could expand easier as well as suitability as a title track after a long hiatus and contract extension of the whole group. I could say that Queendom might be intentionally selected as a title track for their red velvet fans.
Umu know Red Velvet very well😂 Queendom definitely a Title Track. I love Pose but Queendom has a Red Velvet Title Track's vibe so much. Like the instrument, the adlibs, everything in Queendom📈😭😭
Agree with Sean that Pose should’ve been the title track! It felt like a summer drive with your cool girlfriends and fits more with RV as summer queens. The song was too short though and, as currently constructed, is more of a b-side. Like Sean said, they could add more to the beginning, but I also think that the song needs a stronger bridge to make the return to the chorus even more memorable and impactful.
I agree with you, Umu. Queendom is more catchy and melodic, it also suits summer better. Pose is my favorite album side track but Queendom still hasn't gotten old yet. I got bored of Pose quickly. Queendom is definitely a more meaningful song.
Pose is SUCH a great song. If it were the title track, it would've been big internationally, imo. But queendom is flexible and a soft opening for their return from their controversial and unexpected hiatus, its friendly to the korean gp. And i cant really change lee sooman's decision but at the present, Pose should have its own music video
All of red velvets's b sides so crazy and i think all of that so much deserve to be a title track ❤ and all of the bsides song have so much detail to listening and have a new experience
Literally was about to ask u guys day before yesterday about the the Queendom album reaction :D and glad to see it appear a day after that ! I guess the 'Secret of Wishing' is true ;)
Im on Umu’s side! Queendom is the perfect title, from the song, to the lyrics, to the concept, and the mv. Pose is great but I can’t imagine it in an mv, it doesn’t have much impact compared to Queendom! Glad they promoted it along side each other tho
I see Queendom more as a title track rather than a bside. With Pose I can see it as a bside, it just lacks something for me for it to become a title track but it is def THEE bside that you will want to promote alongside the title track. Still think that both songs were weak compared to some of their title tracks tho

Pose is confident and I feel like people will over analyze it on irene’s incident while queendom is very encouraging and people will see it more in light of Wendy coming back, strong and beautiful.
And Sean’s wearing a red velvet skirt!!
All that you say is super interesting (as usual) but I also wanted to say that I LOVE your cardigan, Umu!!
Agreed. Pose is leaning more towards f(x)'s usual style of music production that it fits right in with Electric Shock EP or earlier albums
"Better Be" is my jam.
And my jelly.
And my peanut-butter.
And my bologna.
pose, the sassy me in queendom album.
2:55 I agree with Umu. I like Pose but
I think Queendom is the right fit for title track. It's refreshing and it has title track vibes for me.
the way i’m scremed when umu compared knock on wood to blue lemonade bc that’s what i’ve been thinking all this time and how it fits in the summer magic album. 😭😭😭
I think Queendom is perfect as the title track especially after the long hiatus. It brings so much more feelings to the listener, or to someone who is probably waiting for them a lot. Pose is a fun song though. I love it as a b-side, but it would probably be a good JP comeback title track.
Finallyyyyy Actually, i was checking your page just earlier to see if your reaction to queendom album is already up
i agree when Umu said that pose fit more to be red velvet's b side than tittle track. although me, my self love pose more than queendom, but just like what Umu said, pose are giving so much familiar vibes to us (their casual album's listener). pose really make us feel like 'is this really a new song? but why its feels familiar? but it is a new song!' You can't just deny that pose is red velvet's song. and i think that's the reason why pose becoming the 2nd track and got promoted along with queendom. because it is red velvet's song.
but still, because they are red velvet, pose doesnt have any plus point to be a tittle track for red velvet. this song feel too safe for red velvet to became their tittle track. beside, this comeback are their first comeback after their long hiatus, singing some song about posing and feel themselves doesnt sound right. and they do their comeback in summer means it times for 'red concept', and pose surely doesnt fit any summer nor red velvet's red concept.
and i also think that promoting pose but make it just as a b side not double tittle track are a good choice. because people will also do some debate about how red velvet's b side always worth it to be tittle track, how red velvet's song can become a tittle track for another group, etc. you know, there is a reason why the members and fans always proud to call red velvet as b-sides masters😜
I really love all the tracks in queendom album 😍. I can't explain in music term, but, I love all tracks.
pose is an awesome song (one of my fave rv b-sides), but queendom makes so much sense as a title track (classic red rv title track) so I agree with you umu
Best girl group's music ever in KPop Industry for me
I half agree with Umu and half agree with Sean too.
10:58 SCARED the fuck out of me 😭
SAMEEE 😭
"Surprised" in Wendy's voice😂😂
literally 😭
better be really gave me that red flavor feels like i felt so nostalgic listening to the album
pose is for the gays i swear to god got me death dropping to every beat in my head
better be deserves more attention!! it’s a masterpiece😭 really love the song
자막이 없어서 완전히 이해하기는 힘들지만 재밌게 잘 봤어요!! 감사합니다! It's hard to fully understand without subtitle, but I really enjoyed watching your video!! Thank you!
I mean I could work on English subtitles, but I don't know if that would actually help you?
@@ringelgollum Eng sub also help me a lot :) thank you
@@levittandwani They are up. :)
Edit: Now also for part 2.
Pose is super dynamic and catchy, but I do like Queendom better as a title track because of the meaning of the song and all the things they did for the concept
Tbh, a lot of red velvet songs have a title track quality, but not all can be so
Btw, thank you for this reaction ❤️
Sean’s Red Velvet skirt
They coudlve just done a double title track honestly
Better Be is one of my RV b-sides EVERR
I love the song Better Be and was waiting for you all to get to it. Pose is also one of my favorites from this album.
You two are so good reacting together
Umu know Red Velvet very well😂
Queendom definitely a Title Track. I love Pose but Queendom has a Red Velvet Title Track's vibe so much. Like the instrument, the adlibs, everything in Queendom📈😭😭
Better Be is my fav in the album. I just love all the weird stuff.
Better Be definitely my fave
Yes SM the Best discography of kpop!
Hey Umu what happened to your 2021 favorite songs playlist? 👉👈 I liked seeing your favorite recent releases
FINALLY I’VE WAITEDDD FOR THIS
YESSSS This is what I've been waiting fooorrrrrr so happy!
I. AM. LOVING. THAT. SKIRT!!!!!
Literally was about to ask u guys day before yesterday about the the Queendom album reaction :D and glad to see it appear a day after that ! I guess the 'Secret of Wishing' is true ;)
looooove Pose but don't think it's suitable as a title track for Red Velvet specifically
This album is my second most fave red velvet album after RBB ❤️
Taste !!!! RBB album is so underrated
sean is right with pose bc the stage and choreo would be made accordingly as a title track and it would be so much fun
This is my top fave react channel. Always doing best gg red velvet
Im on Umu’s side! Queendom is the perfect title, from the song, to the lyrics, to the concept, and the mv. Pose is great but I can’t imagine it in an mv, it doesn’t have much impact compared to Queendom! Glad they promoted it along side each other tho
I LOVE RED VELVET + REACTTOTHEK CONTENTS
I think Pose could definitely be a title!
I see Queendom more as a title track rather than a bside. With Pose I can see it as a bside, it just lacks something for me for it to become a title track but it is def THEE bside that you will want to promote alongside the title track. Still think that both songs were weak compared to some of their title tracks tho
Better Be is so good ❤️
퀸덤 앨범 너무 좋아하는데 무슨평 하는지 알구싶다
포즈 노크온우드 너무 좋지..
2:06 Sean you dropped this 👑
KWANGYA FASHION WEEK, IDC, Pose deserved.
sean's outfit is soooo cute 🥺🥺
