Ciao! Thank you for featuring me in your cooking video! It's a real honour to be part of this and share my love of authentic Italian dishes with your audience. Italian dishes are known for being simple and easy to make, but they also offer a delightful experience when you eat them.
It was great to learn more about what and how Filipino like to eat their pastas.
You did an amazing job, and I'm truly impressed! Well done, Abi. 🙌🏻
Hello Vincenzo! Can you make a reaction video about this?
Hi Vincenzo!! We would love to see a reaction video from this one. Very interesting! 😄
Vincenzo in the house!
Hi Vincenzo, can you try making the Filipino spaghetti, the Italian way? Make a sweet spaghetti with sausages and cream using Italian ingredients. Please? I'm sure Filipinos and other Asians will love it 💛
I can hear your voice while reading your comment 😂😂
Spaghetti in lumpia wrapper please 😂😂
Hahaha..😅
Luh
nagawa na yan HAHAH
My tita actually did this recipe before Abi popularized foods in lumpia wrappers, and it tastes good. Just put a slice of cheese before wrapping the Lumpia and IT'S HEAVEN.
😂😂😂😊
Pinoys later learn to appreciate Italian style spaghetti. But for me, being exposed to it in my teen years and to many other cuisines, I actually find new appreciation for Pinoy style spaghetti. It really depends on the mood. Sometimes, you want the simplicity and brightness of Italian spaghetti. But there are times when you want the moorishness and comforting nature of a Filipino style spaghetti, which itself is simple as well.
So Filipinos, don't look down on your style of spaghetti. It's good stuff. Appreciate it while also being open to appreciating other styles.
My fave spaghetti - yung may kasamang shanghai, chicken at cake on the side. 😂
Ninong Ry's- the best
Simpol's- most Filipino
Vincenzo's -Most authentic
Panlasang pinoy - The legend
Chef RV is totally the best authentic na mahal ng mga Pinoy
Most bougie yun kay Ninong Ry. Ingredients, time. It’s hotel quality. If i want spaghetti that i will cook, íll do the original. Pero if i am sad nostalgic ang SIMPOL spaghetti. Lalo pag birthday
Ninong Ry's spaghetti is too complicated, too much of everythings and expensive. But the taste is not that so good. It's a waste of time and waste of money.
@@MDGame777 Overrated !
Ninong Ry version was the best. Na try ko lahat lutoin but for me it's ninong ry's version was outstanding
I remember making authentic Spaghetti based on 3 recipes from Italian chefs, and in the end my parents just stared at me and doubted I could still cook spaghetti XD I made one for my friends who are aware of the authentic version of it and -like me- loved it! certainly a change in taste but I love how simple yet flavorful it is
I think the slow cooked style from Ninong Ry's Spag is not about the meat being slow cooked but the carrots, onions and the celery to melt and emulsify to the tomato sauce.
mirepoix! exactly what i was thinking! we already know what the meat tastes like, but the three aromatics slowly cooking away intensifies the flavor.

Same ranking! Tama yung as “we grow older” kung ano yung pinaka simple yun yung mas na aappreciate ng palate natin. Good job Abi and featr! 🤩
love the third recipe.. more simple and more authentic 🥰
solid talaga itong FEATR. abi, saan may spaghetti ganitong alas onse ng gabi? 🤣
I love watching Vincenzo's plate and I love Abi! This is my fav episode as a person who loves a lot of pasta dishes from classic pinoy to authentic Italian!
Each one of the recipes has a place.
Date night okay yung recipe ni Vicenzo
Kay Ninong Ry pag weekend lunch or dinner at home kasi matagal
Hahaha tas may pork bbq pa🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
100% agree to Abi's ranking ❤
hahaha 'namo ka abi 😭 nag panic ako sa hatdog segment dun sa spaghetti al pomodoro!! hahaha love this video so much! italian food is forever my favorite.
Saaaaaraaap!! 😢🥲 Ngayon ko pa talaga napanood to haha
First time I cooked authentic spaghetti, I thought my son won’t like it but until now he prefers it than Filipino style of spaghetti, though once in a while he’d ask for it. It’s true, authentic pasta and pizza doesn’t require too many ingredients but only the freshest and it is lighter and more satisfying. First time I brought them to Rome, I was surprised that they love the simple pasta and Neapolitan pizza of Italians compared to American style of pan with loads of meat. Authentic is always the best.❤
I like this new vlogs of yours. Keep it up.
Vincezo's spaghetti tastes lighter because it's not swimming in sauce like Pinoys like their spaghetti. In Italy, it's more about the pasta than the sauce.
Cooking is a love language and for me I choose Simpol's Filipino style of cooking since I am not cooking only for my self but for my loved ones! ❤😊
I grew up eating pinoy spaghetti, but after tasting real italian recipe's, hands down, there's a reason why the inventors are the clear winner for me, not only tastier it's healthier and not the healthier kind that taste like sh*t, healthier because you use fresh ingredients without too much sodium content and sugar, the aroma of the evoo, and I just can't get enough of the taste of genovese basil, *cough*, pesto is just the best. Although that won't stop me from occasionally having pinoy spaghetti as a guilty pleasure.
Fish sauce do taste like aged cheese, it brings out bunch of umami flavour. It is a must have in filipino spaghetti.
I love Abi's cooking videos ☺
Weekly of abi episode pls. Haha. Ang saya e 😂
more of this please!!!! ❤
Love this series. Nangingilo ako sa dami ng patis hahah
vincenzo's version would absolutely my preferred one. 😚👌
i would want to try Vincenzo's. i'm not really a fan of pasta dishes except the macaroni salad that my parents' make, but it's good to try what other people enjoy. this way, you get to understand why they love it.
I made all these three versions of spaghetti and I love all of it. But I go with the third one whenever I craved for pasta.
Vincenzo's spaghetti cannot just be described as the simplest. It is, more importantly, the most authentic of all 3.
it's called concasse a mother of italian spaghetti sauce
And the simplest
I'm thinking the same. I started eating a sweet spaghetti with hotdogs when I was a kid. Then, as I grew up, I was exposed to not-so-sweet, no hotdogs style of spaghetti. And right now, after I had my first authentic spaghetti taste, it has been my favorite ever since.
The odds of me watching this as I eat the spaghetti ala Vincenzo style earlier today 😅 I manifested this video 😂
Im so happy you said “content” right!!!!! OhhhMyyyyy ❤
I love this show talaga bukod sa madami kana matutunan, maaliw ka pa sa mga host nila, GODBLESS YOU ALL🙏❤️
Thank you for watching and subscribing!
Definitely, Vincenzo’s version is the best spaghetti among the three. It is simple, perfectly balanced and not overwhelming.
You own the place kasi. Lol. JK
I agree! I like mine simple, mild, with just few ingredients, and healthier.
Aside from that, it is the authentic one. I don't like sweet spaghetti at all so whenever I cooked one, I also go for authentic italian sauce.
Ps. The moment I saw the condensed milk being poured in the sauce, I was like ewwww diabetes.
@@henrichpimentel8191 are you sure? eating sweets does not give you diabetes. Bad diet does.
For craving days and pag madami visitors na bata, Chef Tatung's version of spaghetti is the best for me, pag birthday ko Ninong Ry and for merienda/dinner Vincenzo's 😁
The best is vecencio plate because it was made with original recipe i always watch he's video
Vegetarian ako since July 2022, I use Veggie giniling and Veggie hotdogs (like Veega, Unmeat) in my spaghetti, syempre may UFC ketchup at konting hot sauce, at Filipino-style spaghetti sauce. Actually yung Veggie hotdogs toasted muna kaya siguro nagcaramelize at naglasang parang chorizo.
2:45 this is gold Abi! 😂
Abi! Madamo nga salamat for this vid. I love it! I am 4 months away from turning half a century, but hands down, it's still the sweet Filipino Spaghetti for me! Hahahahaha!
All of them!😋😋😋
Whoaaa i think i would have the same choices as you. Different spag for different ages hahaha. My 7 yr old self would like Chef Tatung's; my college self would like Ninong Ry's; and now that I am older, I'd prefer Vincenzo's because it is very yummy. simple and healthy. ❤
Ninong Ry Spaghetti sarap ❤
i was expecting this to feature panlasang pinoy for the third spaghetti tbh. they seem like the three of the biggest filipino food youtubers and it would've been nice to have a comparison between all their recipes.
Eyy! My fave lumpia queen❤🎉🎉🎉
You just nailed it.
THIS VIDEO IS WORTH WATCHING
I LOVE FILIPINO FOOD BUT
AS SIMPLE AS IT IS.
ITALIANS USE FRESH AND PRECIOUS INGRIDIENTS LIKE FORMAGGIO(cheese) ETC
WELL COOKED PASTA OR WHAT IS SO CALLED “AL DENTE” FOR GOOD DIGESTION AND THERE IS SO MUCH MORE.
ITALIAN FOOD IS THE BEST.
I cook Italian spaghetti using canned Italian tomatoes and fresh basils. Cheese is optional. It's very tasty and filling.
My favorite spaghetti with my apo's I will try to cook ur recipe Miss Abi Marquez 😮
1. Ninong Ry (but less fish sauce)
2. Vincenzo's ( something I'll crave pag umay na kay Ninong) 😅
3. Simpol's (sorna di talaga ako fan ng may condensed milk) ✌️
legit talaga yung kay Vincenzo kasi di sya heavy kainin... and also, less is more (I'm talking about the ingredients)
Pinoy spaghetti would always be my fave but I also love pasta in cherry tomatoes. Love to top grated parmigianno in it with dash of fish sauce (for more umami)
More episodes like this please. 😂
"What happens if we wrap spaghetti with lumpia wrapper?"
Agree on the patis!
Abi almost triggered WWIII😆
Huhuhu wag naman sana 😅
No she didn't.
Saraaaaaaaapp 😋
The last spaghetti you cook always i cook that with also dried basil and cherry tomato my friend also like it... sometimes we put chily flakes
Try also miss Abby.!
Spaghetti Sarbonara
Different ways as well😊😊😊
OM 😂😂😂...you got me there... finally topping it with hotdog
I'd rank them the same way as you did. Same explanation.👌
Ninomg Ry's Spaghetti , but all of them are good , depende sa craving!! 😋♥️
Hahaha Abi! Haha hotdog on italian haha kuleeeet haha
I like my mom’s spaghetti. No cream but with liverspread. ❤
I cook mine by frying tomato paste with olive oil and some aromatics, def no sugar simple yet amazing. I still eat bday spag fo sure but when I'm craving for pasta i always cook simple recipe.
It's according to my cravings, somtimes I like it sweet with hotdogs, sometimes meaty and saucy and most of the time the simple spaghetti with only few ingredients.
Kay Simpol mukhang masarap!😋
ninong ry's is the same as how i like mine, meaty pero i would tone down sa amount ng meaty sauce, probably 2/3 ng amount na nilagay sa 1st serving.
I goooo for ninong ry spag i knowww its the bessss
Chef vincenzo's pasta is i prefer, iba yung atake ng basil sa kinda maasim na tomato pero with ground beef is make the aldente loves
The hotdog in italian pasta got me lol 😂 😂😂😂 5:22
This is a filipino recipe far away the Italian style. Totally different. I like both
"ispageti na may hat dog" always got me
simpol's version all the way! ^^
my Mama's Pinoy Spaghetti also has a can of condensed milk. 💕💕
Cute ka pala pag walang salamain✌️🥰
Vincenzo style for me❤❤
when you're young, ninong rys, when you're old, Vincenzos. but honestly, I like both. though now, since in suffering from gout and cutting back to the meat, Vincenzos is a much healthier choice for me.
Spaghetti - Pinoy style is a tad sweet. Evidence of our Filipino's sweet tooth. Funny enough that we always comment "this dessert is good - it's not too sweet". Meanwhile we add raisins to savory food (empanada etc). Anyway Filipino style spaghetti is a favorite if only because of the nostalgia and the memories it evokes, however my preference is the savory Italian style. I don't know that I'd have the patience to simmer the meat sauce for 12 hours though. Plus the condensed milk made me stop and say WHAT???
SPICY SPAGHETTI 😍🥰
Once you try authentic, you'll never go back to inspired versions. Just use the best ingredients.
I would go for the Vincenzos.
🎉🎉🎉nice content
Give Abi a raise
pls. Try hinalang ng davao po, or balbacua...
No Bueno, I would always go for ninong RV's. It's close to what we have.
I will try to make a mix of ninong ry's and simpol's spaghetti.
