- Erwan Heussaff and Abi Marquez are on a quest to learn about airplane food! Have you ever wondered how your in-flight meals are cooked and assembled? We were curious about the entire process, so we asked our friends at Cebu Pacific to tour us around their food facilities!
It’s going to be an exciting feature as we recreate these meals back at the studio for our own crew to taste test. Stay until the end to see our unique studio setup for this video!

Abby's character bounces off Erwan's 😂 i love how both their dishes really showed each of their character too (Abby's filipino homecooking touch @lumpiaqueen albeit no lumpia wrapper haha 😅 and Erwan's travel and cooking experience ✈️🍛)

I'm always amazed how airline food is prepared. These food are specifically prepared as your tastes buds changes in 30,000 feet! Again great content to show how our local airlines are preparing meals.
Impressive. Food safety should be top notch, which is the critical part of serving for public consumption.

As OFW here in Danang we are very happy to hear that we are having a direct flight DANANG -MNL vice versa ,, ateast if we had some holiday no work we can easily fly back home .. And we can bring our family in cheaper flight because it was direct flight na.. To all the viewer planning to visit DANANG lay back tour , holiday you will love to visit here for sure... This was super cool! I watched this video (Food Insider yata) about airline food prep where they also went in the commissary. They mentioned that when you're up in the air, the taste of food becomes a bit blander vs. when food is on land. So they tend to amp up the salt and pepper just a little bit to make sure the tastes are still the same aboard a flight.
Oh, ans they count EVERYTHING. Like it must precisely be 1 olive per dish or else the food cost impact will be massive. And the head of the kitchen will get in trouble 😅 Imagine the attention to detail and discipline, no?

Love to see the Cebu Pac’s facility! Very organised, cleaned and well-managed! My Mum is flying again with Cebu Pac to Manila from Sydney this December to attend my cousin’s wedding and fam reunion. I wish we can go with her back home. Very good content as always ✨

It's good to see how airplane food are prepared. I haven't seen one before. I really love eating them as if just freshly-hot from the stove or oven. Now I know how it's done. Thanks for this informational vlog FEATR. Cebu Pacific is at par with Cathay Pacific and Thai Airways.
Where can I buy that apron? This content is really close to my heart. I worked before in the airline industry as a ground steward, and I remember that if the airline had a new additional long-haul flight, they would ask us to taste the new menu that they would serve on that flight. Your vlog and content really influenced me to turn my passion for cooking into a reality, become a chef soon, and hope to work again in the airline industry but in the catering field.

Grabe comment sa Sweet and Sour ni kuya. Karinderia food daw. Paano ba sila kumain ng meatballs at gugulong sa mahuhulog? Isang subuan lang yata ang isang meatball. hehe Kaya nag decide si Abi to go to meatballs dahil madali hiwain to bite size.

When going to flight with Cebu Pacific...first notice when it comes to foods everything had to pay in flight local or international flights...for me as ofw hoping this will change part of there flight amenities...

Sounds good, I will try this dish, I hope Cebu Pacific keeps their promise :) But I would like something that adds a bit texture to it, something you can bite on. If everything is very soft, the body digest very fast and you will be hungry faster.
What I often miss in airplane food that they add something that has a better glycemic index, because some of those flights are rather long. But on the other hand, if the meal keeps you full for the whole flight, people dont buy snacks ;)

When making a lot of meatballs, and you have an ice cream scooper the size of the meatballs you want to make, use the ice cream scooper to scoop and shape the meatballs. It will make the process do much faster and the meatballs will be more uniform in sizes and weight.

she should have covered her mouth when she laughed hysterically in a clean and sanitized environment! She was pretty close to contaminate the food being cooked with micro particles coming out of her mouth!

I suddenly remembered when i worked in an inflight catering facility abroad. I always wanted to stay in the kitchen to get some freshly made sushi😂 And tambay sa warewashing area conveyor and look for unused carts from first class to get evian and godiva hahaha
