I could watch the scene where she dresses him in her dead husband's armor over and over. I only wish the whole scene went on longer so we could see the entire process. Koyuki is simply amazing in this and her beauty is beyond words.
Watching this movie as a father is so much different than before it. Before you have kids you can be Tom Cruise's character Nathan Algren, after having a kid, you are Katsumoto trying to show his son the right way to live. And when he loses his son, having to reconsider every choice he ever made it feels way different.
As a kid, I loved watching this movie because of the action but as I got older, I began to enjoy the movie for its spirituality, the cinematography. And as an adult, I watch and love this movie because part of me wants to live a quiet life, finding that "small measure of peace"

For historical period pieces, it is one of my all time favorites.

Many thinks this is merely a movie 😭😭😭 I've got a frog in my throat right now. This movie represents so much. I feel so sad for everyone in the modern day thats selling there freesom for slavery. Its amazing how the western influence has reached the entire eastern world. When i watch guys now on social media who had such strong culture, these guys have all become boys and have noved away from being men. All across the world we now share the same sick western culture which is a disease. Everyone forget who they once were. The way of freedom has been forgotten. The way of slavery is the modern day choice. And its so difficult to live like samurai because if i choose i want to live this way, i have to have a lot of money to buy my freedom. Land is expensive. Water cost money, food cost money. Surviving costs selling your time for money. So its difficult to make the transition back to a time that made sense. A time filled with peace, contentment, longevity. Sigh😪 what an amazing masterpiece of a movie. Yet many people take it qs entertainment, rather than a lesson.

Many thinks this is merely a movie 😭😭😭 I've got a frog in my throat right now. This movie represents so much. I feel so sad for everyone in the modern day thats selling there freesom for slavery. Its amazing how the western influence has reached the entire eastern world. When i watch guys now on social media who had such strong culture, these guys have all become boys and have noved away from being men. All across the world we now share the same sick western culture which is a disease. Everyone forget who they once were. The way of freedom has been forgotten. The way of slavery is the modern day choice. And its so difficult to live like samurai because if i choose i want to live this way, i have to have a lot of money to buy my freedom. Land is expensive. Water cost money, food cost money. Surviving costs selling your time for money. So its difficult to make the transition back to a time that made sense. A time filled with peace, contentment, longevity. Sigh😪 what an amazing masterpiece of a movie. Yet many people take it qs entertainment, rather than a lesson.
