Excellent , really great work,, lost my passion in watching , Learning and playing Oud from 2 years ago, but your Video motivated me to grab again my dusty oud and to jam one of my favorites melody Aziza ,, many thanks for the inspiration , keep teaching us the Egyptian melodies IMO they are the easiest yet the most enjoyable to play
Hi , Mr Navid how are you ? Congratulations by an excellent video about Aziza . Please Can you help me ? I would like to get the sheet music of Aziza like in your video . Thanks Marcelo
@@OudforGuitarists They came in the mail today. It turns out that the wood on the end just looks hollow in the picture but they're solid. What a relief because hollow makes no sense you're right lol
Thank you so much for all the tutorials and videos you are doing! Don't stop!
Love this format, Navid - great views of both hands and notes displayed so prominently - thank you!!!

So pleasing to listen and watch you play with the score.
Indeed.
I will have to learn this now. It is so helpful to be able to see the music.
Bravo! It's especially great because it's easy to find TH-cam examples "at tempo". Yours to learn from - theirs to play along with !
With the note lines above, simply superb.

Hi Osher, this is in Maqam Kurd.
@@OudforGuitarists Thanks for the reply, but with modulation right?
@@osherezra8460 yes there is a modulation to hijaz with f#, and later to Ajam on G.
@@OudforGuitarists Thank you so much total appreciation. I see that modulation a lot it in Kurd. meaning kurd to hijaz

What is the setting to play this song? Do Sol Re la sol Do? Or is there one string of Fa Mi ?
do fa la re sol do
would have liked to see measures occasionally numbered so when i scroll back to review i don't get lost
The software I' using to play a long with this is not meant for this purpose so it does have some flaws.
muchb better than Dokan Bachs version as I don't understand repeats, the sign , and coda used to save page turnings
Brilliant !! How much this oud cost and the one from dimtry
The link to buy this oud is in the description with price details. I bought the Dimitri oud 14 years ago so you have to contact Dimitri.
Thank you ❤
What kind of pick you use ? ❤
All kinds, plastic, hard and soft, but I usually prefer cow horn.
Thank you ❤
In this vid you use cow horn ??
@@Ashraf_Shamsuddin in this video I used Philip Shaheen's composite fiber risha. It's nice. Very similar to cow horn.
@@OudforGuitarists thank you very much ❤
Hey bro, are hollow pegs worse than solid ones?
I've never heard of or seen hollow ones. Can you elaborate?
@@OudforGuitarists They are hollow pegs like with a hole or something made of Sheesham
@@trevorabbottcompositions I have no clue.. try your luck on mikeouds forums or our forum on Facebook. Someone might know.
@@OudforGuitarists Thanks for the reference. You're an amazing player and I'm learning a lot.
