Colors looking very nice and vivid; also maybe a small thing but just the finer detail in the sound effects such as when Haggar dropkicks the phone booth (6:30) in the subway stage I found to be noticeably impressive.
The Thing is what I like about the SEGA CD version of its graphics, is a lot of sprites and background scrolling wasn't traced with a lot of black color. It just blends in real good that way.
@@rnt9652, what part of demo do you not comprehend? Do you think that alpha and beta builds of video games play just like the final released versions of these games? Honestly, if you want some broken versions of Final Fight, then you can either play it on the Spectrum ZX or the Amiga. Also, considering that this port of the game is made by a group of only three people, I consider this to not be a bad build so far. Moreover, a really good port of the original Darius was not only released as an all new game for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Mini, but that it was also released as a physical video game for actual Sega Genesis/Mega Drive consoles, and it was made by a single person. I could even go with perhaps the best game that was made by a single person ever and that would be the legendary Cave Story, and nothing needs to be said further about that game. My point is that, as long as people are skilled enough to make a decent port of a video game to a video game console that never received an official port of the video game, then people will keep pushing the limits of old video game systems.
This is an indie game and will be distributed for free when ready. The dev is currently working on the project to port the game 99 Vidas to the Mega Drive.
I am from Spain.Pc Engine almost didn't make it here. The main battle was between megadrive and supernintendo. I know the PC Engine and its emulation games and I quite like it.
@@roydriver8956whilst I'd love to see a pc engine port, I think it would really have it's work cut out to be as good as what we see here, apart from color there would be a lot of concessions. . The pc engine only has one background layer so a lot of the backgrounds would be toned down in detail. It has 16 sprites per line rather than 20 like the MD and the sprites are less granular eg on the MD there are many more sprite sizes available so sprite cutting is more optimal on MD, leading to less flicker. You see this in many pc engine titles vs MD, the pce flickers a lot more. Still I'd really love to see a high quality port done on pce.

I'm glad to see the team is still making progress. It looks awesome!
I'm glad too.

Yep.
I find amazing that this version has better colors than the Sega CD version. Nice work.
Indeed, if I'm right even the sega CD does rely on the MD GPU to render color, so it is a upfront work.
It's a really good job.

Verdade mano, a coloração ta linda

@@paxhumana2015 Dude he's just trolling or had a bad day and needed to vent. Most likely a born again Christian.
This is absolutely remarkable, I have been a fan of Final Fight throughout my whole childhood, and still am. I can't wait to play!
Let's be patient.

I really don't know. You can ask to the dev here: www.youtube.com/@MXRetroDev
Ur the man but take out captain commando and add carlos from final fight 2
I just share the dev work. You can check his channel here: www.youtube.com/@MXRetroDev
It's still quite flickery compared to the Mega CD version.
It's still a WIP and you can set the amount of enemies on screen in options.
Would be better on PC Engine!
I love PC Engine, but why better than MEGADRIVE??
@@viciousreddragon7942 More colors and it could do large sprites.
