Yes, you can just select flash image, then select the file, then select recovery and then flash, and reboot, now you're good to go, also let me tell you that there are a few bugs in Project Elixir A14 like hotspot doesn't work, and a few more... (You don't need to update your twrp as Project Elixir A14 works on standard partition but it is good to have offical version..)

No bro it's based on Android Open Source Project but these AI features aren't but this rom still has unlimited photos backup and Google premium features like erasing elements from pictures converting into hdr, etc. Although some more AI stuff might get added in future... Who knows..
@rakhshan I have installed the rom and it didn't show the Evolution X logo and build details while flashing. It there a problem? Also, now I can't take twrp backup or see internal storage in TWRP. Google photos crashes when editing photo. Can you please help.
It might be because this is an unofficial build, you're unable to see internal storage because of encryption issues most probably, You should Flash the latest build based on Kernel 4.4 or you should try Rising Os 3.2 as it is most customisable and features rich + Stable.

@@darshcreatezz first install all these: platform tools. universal adb drivers, google android usb drivers,qualcomm drivers(you might not need this!), oneplus drivers. then on your phone enable usb debugging and allow oem unlock after this you have to follow the bootloader unlocaking process and flashing the twrp and whatever custom rom you want to install. you can find the tourials for that on youtube

It might be that the downloaded file is broken, and did you use TWRP with Dynamic partition. Try re downloading and flash again.
