@MistaTripleZ the thing that I think holds it up is that certain abilities like rina with the switch in dmg would need to be reflavored for multi-player since obviously you wouldn't be switching out characters, I think it should be similar to a monster hunter like bounty hunt for a specific grade or type of ethereal in a hollow or police raid or what ever faction flavor floats the boat. Obviously they already have servers and Co op already existed its just a question of mechanics at play, should parties get food instead of a talent boost?do we rewrite the talents for co op play? Do we introduce new entire class systems to replace talents in co op so that more characters can fill different roles and be uniquely equipped for fights so there isn't a overeliance on specific characters allowing skill to permanently along with inevitable p2w? I think it's coming soon its just a question of execution, after all the better they do the gameplay the less it's seen as a throw away sooner game.
If they have that and are not stupid, they would release that at lauch. It is a major attraction for player base. When the game is new, a lot of people are draged to play the game by their friend. Some of them may find the game insteresting and continue playing that. However, it would be pointless to lauch it latter on as people mostly makeup their mind at this point. People who want to play have already played, and people who dont like the game wont play no matter what you say.
Literally the only co-op they need is to make a plaza where people can just hang out and chat. I can't wait for lobbies full of a bunch of Ben Biggers surrounding a single Qingyi in a circular fashion.
During the beta test they also didn’t have the parry system or chain attacks. There’s no way co-op can work in this game without watering down the combat. I don’t know why people think every single game needs co-op and PvP. Co-op also needs to be balanced in a way to be completely trivial because of random matchmaking. Almost nobody uses it in Genshin because you’re better off just soloing anyways.
All of your points can easily be refuted by saying don't use co-op then. Does adding it "forces" you to use it? No. >Co-op also needs to be balanced in a way to be completely trivial because of random matchmaking. Almost nobody uses it in Genshin because you’re better off just soloing anyways. False. Everytime I matchmake in Genshin, it takes less than 5 seconds to get a match. Who uses it? Mostly newbies or casuals with bad builds or character lineup. I always have fun carrying them, or failing. >I don’t know why people think every single game needs co-op and PvP. It's so sad to see people defending an online game not having multiplayer. In a gacha game no less, where one should be able to flex the characters you worked hard to pull and build. What a sad state and mindset.

I wanna be able to show strangers on the internet that I own the same characters they do during a 1 and a half minute fast passed battle. Why won't the devs allocate resources on multiplayer balancing and entire game modes for me specifically??", because it's a shit idea that virtually nobody wants or cares about, multiplayer in literally any gacha game is trash and barely used, it's super cool that you enjoy doing it on Genshin and I hope you continue to but leave ZZZ they way it is or come up with better reasons other then "because they should"
Coop gameplay exist: Everyone trying to firstpick miyabi
So damn true xD
considering the team bonuses dont actually apply to the whole team but just the individual character it makes sense thats the natural progression
totally agree, having player that can actually play together as a team in real time will definitely make more character viable and fun to try!

The game feels lonely you add friends but you have no way to play with them, coop definitely a must for ZZZ
