@@shalaallgeier What parts are you looking for? I'd highly recommend downloading the parts catalog, that way you can find out the HD part number and start your search. Sportyparts.com is a pretty good resource too.
Cool video. I just bought a 75 model ironhead that needs some work too. It runs really good. The clutch is slipping sometimes and alot of other stuff that needs to be done. 🙂
Im looking to restore and custom build my dads 84 sportster. He left it to me when he passed a few years ago and it needs pretty much a ground up rebuild. I dont have any motorcycle exp as my only mechanic exp is in aviation. What books or resources would you recommend for gaining some knowledge on motorcycle restoration
Cool find. I look forward to seeing the progress.
I like the way you explained it. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Thanks! An update coming soon 🤘
Very nice videos you do.... pleasant to listen and learn. Looking forward for more. Hope you can include more in detail "how to"... Cheers mate ✌️
Thanks VMJ! I'll definitely be doing some more in depth "how to" videos on tuning and maintaining these amazing machines 👍
Nice ride!
Thanks! I've enjoyed your videos for years man - keep them comin!
I just inherited the same bike so we will be fixing ours around the same time hopefully I’ll be keeping up !!!
Awesome! Good luck with your build! Are you going resto or custom?

I'm so jealous I had a 83 xlx 61 for 21 years best bike I ever owned would love to have another one
The 900,000 mile Ironhead - my jaw is still on the floor lol
Any chance you have the fenders and tank still?

100000% the factory service manual and the factory parts book. These are the only 2 you need. Happy wrenching! 👊
What did u say u used on the Clean the chrome
I use Autosol on polished aluminum and Blue Magic on chrome 🤘
Looks bad ass man. Don't change it to much of it...
Thanks man! The only for sure changes are the front end and tins - the sporty peanut tank in my eyes is the best tank ever made 👊
Have the same bike . Interested to what your going to do with it
Right on! Episode 2 in the works! 👊
What you got left?
Any parts left
Do you have any of the parts left unsold?
Only small parts left, all the bigger parts were sold
@@ironridermoto like what? I'm working with a basket case, even bolts and screws are wrong or missing.
How much for the seat
Sorry already sold - I'm super late and delayed on getting videos out right now!
What all remains for sale
Sportster tank solo seat and P pad after you get it running
Great minds think alike 👌
I'm probably too late to the party........still have the seat or bag mounts??
I might have the bag mounts still but the seat and most other parts are sold
I just built an 86 XLH1100
Cool rare sporty! Only 2 year production of the 1100 👊
Cool until you have to find model specific parts
