Even if the play through is in english your explanation of games are very clear and your excellent diction make it understandable perfectly. Just a thing it’s worthy to mention that the card like Thor who mention « you may fight thanos » use the other card in the hero hand and not the thor’s value card. First time i miss this point.

By the fact that the deck is emptied, doesn’t that automatically mean all 6 stones are on the table, which means Thanos has already one? Or am I missing something?
This can happen, and I don't recall the exact circumstances, but if you browse the comments, you'll find this asked a few times, and I answered it there (I'd look it up, but I'm away from my copy right now).
Rodney, have you ever played the *Thanos Rising* boardgame? I absolutely love it, and it ties great to the Infinity War movie, losing some of your heroes. Even made a custom Thanos _Boss Card_ for if you're able to beat the game, you have one last big fight with the purple man himself, almost an Endgame scenario expansion.
At about the 12:40 mark you mention the possibility of Thano's deck somehow running out, but unless I'm missing something, that would be impossible right? Wouldn't Thanos have already won the game at that point because all six infinity stones would either be on the table or in his hand? Thanks for another great video, this looks like fun.
The teenager me would never expected that most people in the world would know who thanos and the infinity stones are. Plus good marvel based board games.

The video correctly states that if Thanos fights, than Thanos has 2 cards to pick from, but if the Heroes fight Thanos, than instead of picking his own card, it is chosen randomly from the two Thanos is holding.
This was my question. Important to note that the only way the pick can truly be random is if the hero player chooses the card while looking at their backs, unless you literally put the cards down on the table and flip a coin for left/right. There is no easy way for the Thanos player to make an unbiased random choice since they know the card values.

Hey Jeff, did I say in the video that stones on the table could be re-shuffled back into the deck? Sometimes it helps if a time stamp is included with the question, so I know exactly which part you are referring to (after a few months, I don't have as clear a memory of all the elements of the episode).
Watch It Played you stated that players are trying to force thanos to reshuffle his power stones. I’ve since played it and learned this can only happen if it is in his hand. Power stones played face up are protected.

The power token dynamic is a little unclear to me. If both players have tokens, they both must use them, which effectively cancels them out. Is that right?
With this version, could you play “regular” love letter with only the hero deck? Think if I have a new player then I could start with that and then add the thanks variant, but still only carry this version of the game?!?

This bit of the rule book suggests that would be okay (as long as only public information is being used in the discussion): "Players cannot communicate about cards they have seen or direct other players’ choices. They can make observations based on public information, such as how many Infinity Stones have been played or how many cards are left in a deck. It is important that everyone knows which cards have already been played and which cards are left in the decks, so cards in front of players must always be in everyone's view. When the hero deck runs out, let Thanos look at the faceup hero cards before they are reshuffled."
@@DivineDarkness91 In this case I believe it means you can't tell someone else what they MUST do. You can make suggestions, but a player always makes the final choice for what they will do on their turn, themselves - even if others at the table disagree.
Played this for the first time yesterday 2 player. We played everything right EXCEPT drawing a new card after your card is defeated. I cannot see this written in the supplied rule book anywhere. We kept wondering how you could play a card if the other person had nothing in their hand.

I've already have Love Letter....twice (english and spanish). I didn't like the Batman edition (I really like Batman, but was just a rethemed game. I think that changes made here can make a difference. (now i'm openning ZMan website to see if I can order it....)
During Thanos’s turn, if all 6 Infinity Stones are faceup in front of Thanos and/or in Thanos's hand, Thanos can reveal their hand, snap their fingers, and immediately win the game.
@@WatchItPlayed So along this same thought. If Thanos plays the red stone with 3 other stones already face up, using it's effect he draws the final 2 stones. I'm assuming he can then snap to win the game and never need to shuffle 2 cards back in?
@@clintkissling9093 I don't have an official answer on this, but my understanding is that you have to finish resolving the current action before you can check for a victory condition.
@@jtfike Good catch! That was a poor example on my part, I was holding the original 2 cards you'd have at the start of a turn, but you're right, if you played one of them as a 5 card, you wouldn't still have 2 cards in hand, you'd only have 1!

It's a very limited case situation. Remember, Thanos can only claim victory from having all the Infinity Stones on a Thanos turn, so, if he gets his final stone after being attacked during a hero turn, he doesn't win until it gets to his turn, so during that time, if he is attached further, he could run out of cards in hand, as well.

Why is this useful?
Because they will then be able to know what is in the other`s players hand.

So thanos card can be defeated with captain marvel powered up but can also be defeated with spiderman guessing his number?
You've got it!
So the hero team can always play their “1” card and guess “7”?
That is a legal move, but the odds that Thanos is holding the 7 card won't be as high as guessing a value that there are more copies of.
the Thanos player never has to worry about running out of cards in their hand because if that happened then they already won.
Is the snapping of the fingers actually in the rules? Or can they just display the cards? LOL
The snapping is a must! (it is in the rules, but of course, you don't have to if you don't want to)

Can the Thanos player win if he/she has three stones out and then begins their turn with two stones and then draws the final stone? Dying to know.

When you play the 5 card, you won’t have 3 cards in your hand as was demonstrated. You will only have 2. What am I missing here?
