The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The Congregation also staffs rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.
I’ve got the joy joy joy
Down in my heart
I’m 62 and have never been happier because
I have Jesus
Amen to that
We Need More Traditional Priest, Like The FATHERS Of MERCY !👍💪🙏⛪
Yes!!!
Call no man father. For one is your father. God.
ALL Priests are traditional.
What a beautiful sermon.
We say "homily".
my second time going to our Catholic Church today. i am not able to keep myself from crying. when its time to take the eucharist. im leaking with repentance and sorrow, because i am not baptized and unable to receive communion. nor do i have courage to receive a blessing. i can do nothing but stay on my knees. =*(
So what's the problem? Call the church and talk to a priest and get baptized. It's never too late. God is waiting for you 🙏 .
Get of your knees and live and love see the beauty in life it is everywhere all you have to do is look no more tears just laughter knowing God will win this battle Amen 🙏
I understand you. You will find the clergy more welcoming and warm and understanding thank you expect. I had stayed away for 20 years and felt the way you did. I finally mustered up enough courage and humility to go to confession and slowly reintegrated myself back into receiving God's grace. Now I'm preaching to everyone about the Lord. The church and it's clergy are there for you and all of the world's people. All colors, all ages, all ethnicities, and all of its sinners. Follow that inner desire to bring yourself closer to God and you won't be disappointed.
Every single Christian needs to hear this sermon! Exactly what we need! 🙏🏻Thank you to the Angel who posted this.
God is calling you, brother. Take courage. Fear is not of God. Contact a priest and get baptized asap. God bless you!
I've been dealing with a load of anxiety and fear lately from thing's I've seen and watched lately. It's not been very easy to live well like that, fearing about what tomorrow will bring. This homily really helps to put things into perspective, I'm going to need to delve much deeper into prayer and really focus on what matters. If any of you are willing, please pray that God may restore the peace in my heart and that I might be free from this episode of anxiety and fear. I want to live for today and for God, not fear for tomorrow and potentialities.
You are not alone. Same here
I LOVE this priest. His words always hold so much power. May he never lose his passion!
So passionate in defending Holy God, His Holy Word, Jesus, he is not asleep at the pulpit ! He is not burnt out getting the homily over with, but using it with such Spirit ❤ Love this Father!
A perfect homily for our times ! Thankyou Father ! May All that come to hear the Word here have a Wonderful Christmas, Praise be to God and his Only Son Jesus Christ ! May he have Mercy on us sinners ! Amen
This shit is so falsea
nd sick Catholic bullshit
Amen and AMEN !!! Thank you, Father Wilton. I've resolved to pray daily for ALL Priests. I pray that ALL priests recieve the special graces they need to carry out the extraordinary responsibilities they have to God and His people. Graces that priests would not otherwise have if we didn't pray for them. Forgive me for the years of negligence in this daily needed prayer due to the assumption that Priests already have achieved all the graces they need due to their ordination. That's the lie satan would have us buy into. The fact is our priests need more prayers. Pray, pray, pray !!! Pray daily for our priests 😔🙏📿🕯🕊ò
Ordination conferes an indelible mark on the soul of a priest - and a huge target on his back!
Yes, we MUST pray for Priests, Deacons, Seminarians and Religious, but most especially those with Holy Orders!
Thank you for doing that.
Your doing great work by praying for our priest. Thank you for your selfless devotion.
Dear Father,
THANK YOU

When I was a very young child my parents started us kids working, hard. If I had a certain look on my face or a bad attitude or if I dared to actually grumble i was told to get to work NOW, with a smile on my face and like it!

May God let you have what you truly want Fr. David, may ALL the preachings of the Fathers of Mercy reach a lot of people. As someone who is just watching on youtube i can't stop crying because i cant help but think what will happen to us and to this world when a great number of good priests get exhausted of church politics? May God protect and strengthen you all for all our sakes. I am praying for all of you always. Please know that your words are reaching and touching a lot of hearts. I really needed to hear this tonight, it’s been so stressful w/ my husband so ill. We’ve been getting hit very hard. Yes the devil is trying to take our joy, anxiety is high. And today is Gaudente ! Dear Father David,
I am blessed to hear your words. I went for confession today prior to holy mass and I felt the way you mentioned. Sorry for my spelling, I am from Coyhaique, Southern Chile.
I love the Fathers of Mercy.
God bless you, Fr.Dave!!! This is one Holy Priest. This hits the heart hard beautiful homily. Father Dave makes me proud to be a Catholic. I was not born Catholic, but I will die Catholic.
Dear Heavenly Father, the Catholic Church in my country has pushed so many away from Jesus. Please have mercy on us and bring us priests who teach like Fr Wilton!
Fact we are all in the image of god let it all go THEY are here the earth is silent but you have to stand strong 💪
Only with Christ you will have true love and forgiveness to oneself and others. Let the pain sorrow go!
Look into the sky listen but feel look and be happy for there will be always be someone above or below you.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 beautiful homily!
What I have noticed is all the grumpy people out there right now that can't follow the devil's materialistic plan and are thoroughly discontent and miserable right now. I just pray to get me through all the sorrow and crazy right now.
That’s a very good point!
So good!! Thank you, Father...for shepherding your flock with such wisdom and love. God bless you.
I would like have a priest like him in México
Thank you Father for the moving homily. We can tell the effort you put into the words you have spoken. Much Peace and Love of Christ this Christmas season. Amen
We Catholics and Orthodox Christians need to unite in the name of Jesus and show how to love together. Only, if our Lord wants that and I am sure he wants that. We need to be strong in Christ. 🙏
You should unite around the scripture that Jesus quoted hundreds of times and ends with the book of Revelation. You will be judged by what is written.
Beautiful... thanks much!😊
I am filled with a holy Joy 97% of the time. People really cannot believe me, and they either hate me or they love me. But it's true and authentic joy, I can't help it, I pray the rosary everyday!
It doesn't matter what is going on around me, I have every reason in the world to be miserable, depressed and filled with fear, but I'm not! Instead I understand a peace that surpasseth all understanding and I am truly filled with Joy most of the time. The other 3% is when every broken heart I've ever had in my whole life, showed up at the same time and my heart shatters again. But I'm so grateful because then i have SOMETHING to offer up as a sacrifice that actually hurts. So it's all good. Thank you, Mother! I am your slave!
Beautiful ❤ I want to get to that point too.
The mother can’t hear your prayer as she is dead. We pray to God through the name of Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose on the third day. Repent! I say this with love.
I’ve been suffering from spiritual affliction while trying to rediscover my faith. I’ve never known suffering like this nor wish to anyone. I feel like I don’t have nothing much to look forward to and my small victories or joys being trampled.
See Divine Mercy with Father Chris Alar on Dark Nights of the Soul.
